WARNING to all males. Avoid walking past her house but if you must , make it on the other side of the street and tread quietly until the danger has past.
Hmm, I'm sure there are many Thaivisa readers who would fancy a bit of young flesh. Why deny them?

This is totally insane this is out of this world.
It might be embarrassing to find out who owns the company the produces and sells the lamp posts.

The couple were leaving a restaurant when the were hit by the Kawaskai. Cops chasing the big Kawa? It's there to be read. Looks like we know.

It might look unreal but that is what he looks like. Seen him on parliament TV many times. Simply bizarre.

Organisms smaller than bacteria have been known to exist since the late 19th century (11), but the first EM visualization of a virus came only after the electron microscope was developed. Ernst Ruska, with his mentor Max Knoll, built the first electron microscope in 1931 as the project for his Ph.D. thesis. Eight years later, Ruska and colleagues Kausche and Pfankuch were the first to visualize viruses (tobacco mosaic virus) with the EM (47), and in 1986, Ruska shared the Nobel Prize with Binnig and Rohr, developers of the scanning tunneling electron microscope.
You see...that the Covid test patch is just that no indication of anything proven...like 911 an Aluminum construction of plane flying through a steel and concrete building shown on media, by the way if you can smell smoke with mask on, sad to say the virus is like a football going through uprights on the pitch. Virus will pass through a 1" clay cylinder but bacteria will not..I know this as I lived in West Africa... have a excellent immunity and follow building this rather than a vaccination, natural immunity is best with 98% recovery...
I'll have what he's smoking.

Life for a cat is very dangerous for a cat. I have a cat and I have decided to keep him indoors only. Due to the large number of stray dogs on every street. Plus the poisonous snakes common in the gardens . And to top it off are the large lizards and a boa constrictor that I have seen many times that lives just in the empty lot just 50 yards from my house.
This is no joke. Life in a caring American home is the best thing for those cats. Please leave them there.
Drama queen comes to mind. Bring your cats. They will be fine.

My present concern is that the potential to get infected is real and the consequences of that.
Even at best, home quarantine for 14 days for the three of us isn't going to work out well, without thinking about hospital or quarantine station.
And while we lived in that bubble for most of last year, and never thought we could get it, now people in the next soi have been infected.

I'm looking for advice on how to get the wife (Thai) and daughter (mixed but 13) vaccinated. I've seen a number of places where people are queuing up for inoculation but I'm not aware of the process, and neither is the wife. She's self-employed and none of her friends have had any shots as yet. But as the virus seems to be getting closer and closer in the neighborhood, vaccination would be a good idea.
Neither of us would be keen on her standing in line for hours with no guarantee of success at Bang Sue or where-ever.
Has any body gone through the process with little headaches successfully?

Slight off topic but is there any test in Thailand one can get to see if you have antibody's against covid-19. Reason I ask is that I think I had covid-19 in Jan 2020, after a trip to Rayong, fever for about 4 days and just wanted to sleep. I took some anti-histamines and drank "the brown mixture" to knock me out.
You talking rum?

CIMB has done the same I believe. It no longer accepts my ID name
There was an announcement some time ago that they were withdrawing the service to non-Thais.

Interesting to read the predictions from a year ago. I'll probably be bumping the current thread full of predictions in another year's time.

That discounting the third wave of a more easily transmissible variant. I'm not confident October will be anywhere near the end.

Interesting that they've crushed democracy to protect democracy, utter BS! Even more interesting is that ASEAN has stood by like lame ducks and done nothing to condemn the juntas actions!
Vietnam? Cambodia? Laos? and, of course, Thailand. Condemning a like minded despot? Not likely.

Paid shills for the Thai tobacco industry. Why aren't they pushing the wonderful Thai authorities for the ban on conventional cigarettes? From a personal perspective, I started with e-cigs 2 years ago and haven't had a tobacco cigarette once in that time. Anyone who wants to kick the habit should give vaping a go.

I found the Owl Market to be the best experience, but it is likely still closed. I didn't like the disgusting animal stuff at Chatuchak. Also, some greedy, pushy vendors, as well as some hoping you will break something so they can extort you. I saw these cool plates, with a nice divider for chips and salsa and the sign said 169..I thought it was for a box of four or five plates..nope 169 for 1..seen the same type ceramics in CM selling for 10-20 each. There is always <deleted> beer in bins of....water....at the Train Market, and don't get me started on Farce Box, which I believe was recently put out if its misery, without anyone noticing. Anyplace with a history of herds of Chinese, blocking sidewalks, changing diapers, etc., is likely off my list.
Owl Market has been open for months.

The males I would guess gang or drug related.
The females who knows maybe a serial killer or trafficing?
Hope they make some headway on this very disturbing story.
Well now they have your expert opinion, I'm sure they'll be able to wrap things up in no time.
