Again, thank you all for the very helpful input.

You will be dripping with sweat as most of the walk is not airconditioned.
OK, I'll ditch the coat & tie and wear tank top & speedo. Just kidding, thanks for your input. But, I'll try it at least once to see how it works out.
Again, unless I get further helpful input concerning crowded MRT times, I will assume the crowds are rush hour times weekdays before 0930 & then again probably 1600-1830.

Everybody, thank you so much for your very helpful input. I should have initially been more explicit by explaining that my "Lumpini Park View" condo on Rama IV has the Blue Line Soi Ngam Dupli entrance right at the condo front door. So, I think my best option is to get off ARL at Phetchburi & walk to MRT.
My final question concerns the times of the day to avoid peak hours MRT Phetchburi location many folks already crammed onboard. My initial reaction to Tomazbodner comment ref 0930 hrs was not clear (ie, before or after). I would guess that the biggest crowds would be when people go to work am, and when they return home pm. Or is it busy all day long?
Thanks again everybody, for your helpful input.

I'll be taking airport bus from Jomtien to Suvannaphum Airport, getting on rail line to Makasan station and then transferring to Blue Line MRT to go to Lumpini area where my condo is located. I will have a couple heavy backpack type bags, but No suitcases.
I seem to remember at one time folks were complaining about the difficult walking transition / transfer between Makkasan station and the MRT blue line.
If anybody has experience, please comment on the difficulty of this transition. Thank you.

There is an MFA in Chiang Mai
Oh, thanks, I didn't know that.

we don't have to go to BKK for any of this. Adding an update post in a sec.
My question / post above, was in reference to your statement.
I'm just trying to clarify for both of us.

Perhaps there is something I still do not understand. So, just to clarify for both of us:
if you are not going to attend the appointment with MFA (which is in BKK) yourself, then who is going to represent you at that MFA appointment, Star Visa?

Thanks! I went and talked to them. Spent 30 minutes with me, getting our ducks in order...didn't even charge me. All they want is 500 baht for a translation for a document next week and they'll help me schedule an appointment with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. SO STINKING HELPFUL! Thanks so much.
Why don't you just let Star Visa take your docs to the MFA in Bkk & return the docs to you a few days or a week later. I think they make that run very frequently with a similar batch of MFA requests.
The relatively small cost to Star Visa is well worth it. If you try to do it yourself you not only have to get to Bkk, but then the headaches of Bkk traffic getting to MFA as well as the bureaucracy at MFA. Just let Star Visa do it - you relax.

You did mention that you could pull your money out, thus terminating the contract.
Unless this "investment is very profitable for you, why not just get out from under it, & release yourself from the "potentially" dodgy / questionable aspects?

Likewise, the Chinese will insist that in turn for such a guarantee, Thailand must act / vote the preferred Chinese way on all future global political, military and economic issues. Otherwise: ...."Oh so sorry, replacement items are out of stock, but we'd like to have our idle maintenance personnel & their "managers" hanging around your ports in the event supplies eventually arrive."

Go to"Star Visa" near US Consulate 419/3 Wichayanon Rd 053-232 412.
Very knowledgeable, especialy US issues, and do the Thai marriage MFA etc very cost effectively.

Ya, they put the seat number on the back side of the seat. So folks end up taking the seat behind the one their ticket assigns them.

Unless I'm reading it wrong, it sure looks to me like there are some buses between the Jomtien Foodland station & Ekamai. If so, that makes me happy as well. I'm copying marin's link for emphasis:
Ekkamai to Jomtien Bus station by flight, bus, taxi, train, van from THB 164 ✅ (12go.asia)
Oh oh, I just realized I was reading Ekamai to Jomtien, not Jomtien to Ekamai. Apologize.

Not hourly but buses do go Jomtien/Ekkamai. https://12go.asia/en/travel/ekkamai/jomtien-bus-station
From Ekkamai just get on the BTS that is right there and get off at National Stadium MBK, the end of the line.

I remember being told once by a Thai real estate agent that banks are supposed to advise RTG of transfers 2,000,000 Baht & larger. But there was no insinuation that RTG would worry or investigate such advice, unless of course RTG was already suspicious or investigating the account for other reasons (drugs, money laundering, etc).

Those are very nice climbing & sleeping boxes attached to your wall. They indicate how you feel about all of your family. I'm sure that Lily & her 3 kitties appreciate your support and are happy to still be united together.

Thomas Hardy readers will recall the public shame and outrage that befell the Mayor of Casterbridge for splitting apart his family... so we'd prefer this cat-family to stay together... and "Lilly" agrees.)
We will take care of their second Feline Enteritis vaccinations, which are due soon. I'll also contribute half the cost of having the three kittens neutered when they have grown big enough.
Can you suggest names for the little Kitties?
Being of the "Carry On" film generation, I'm rather fond of "Miss Cheevers" for the impish grey female.
Here she is, bushy-tailed, intimidating both ginger males at once!Like cmjc I hope Lily's family can stay together. Perhaps harder to find someone willing & able to adopt, but Lily & her family will be happier together (that's been my observation with our 5 cats).
Being cat parents will demand future time & financial obligations, and initially many will want to think twice before volunteering. But if it is the right time in your life to take it on, and once the mutual love has been established in the human/cat family, the emotional rewards can be tremendous.
cmjc,
I will provide you the other 50% of neutering expenses for Lily & her 3 kittens. We can correspond privately at your convenience on precisely how for me to transfer the money to your account. I hope you can be patient enough to keep them together while vetting potential owners.

It would be hard to make up a more ridiculous statement, unless he used the old tried & true statement that he tried to stop but his brakes failed & he had to keep going.
