  1. Hello bikers,

I want to buy a old big bike here in Thailand. My interests start from 400ccm-900ccm from the years 1983 - 1999 for a good cheap price. Sometimes you can see some at thaisecondhand.com starting from 10.000 Baht - 100.000 Baht.

I've read a lot of threads in this forum, but I don't find all information I need.

If I want buy the bike I need the following papers from the old owner:

    1. Green book

    2. import papers ? if have green book, I just need it?

    3. tax invoice

    4. Signed copy from owner-id-card

    5. ???

    6. ???

Ok, but what happend if the bike was parking for 6-8 years in garage and nobody used it and nobody paid the tax, etc.

If I buy the bike now, I must pay the tax for the last 6 years or something other?

If it don't have the plate, what happen?

What other important things I must take care? Ok, check the frame and engine number, but what more?

I hope you can help me!!!

  2. Another friend give me pig intestine skin and now I can eat excellent homemade sausages.

Do you know where I can buy pig-intestine skin in Pattaya?

yes!!! in the new makro market somewhere in the refrigerator.

    Price: 315,- Baht / 900g

There you can get a mincer for 12.000 Baht too.

  3. Somebody know where I can buy electric Paint Spray Gun. Home Works, Home Pro, etc. have only air spray guns for use with a compressor. I need it for spray clear lacquer on some wooden chairs & table.

At 2 Thai shops with website from bangkok I asked one week ago the price and surprise ..... :) never got a answer.

I think they have to much to do.

It were great if somebody know a shop.

    It like this one: http://tinyurl.com/spraygun

  4. Snowgard I do thank you for the comments and as the Srisuvit School website is in Thai perhaps you can answer a few questions for me.

Is the school teaching English as a subject only, or is it the same as BEST and Satit and teaching in both English and Thai (ie: bilingual).

Is it actually a private school (as the two above) and following the Thai Govt curriculum or just a Thai governemnt school.

Any other useful facts would also be appreciated.

    Thanks...

Sorry for the late answer, but I don't look at the thread for longtime. The Srisuvit school is a private Thai School. They following the Thai Govt curriculum but only to class No. 9. The Teaching is in Thai with 5-8 English lessons weekly. Next year they start a English Program School for Thai Govt curriculum from classes 10-12. But the best way is to check it out self! Visit the school, speak with the stuff, look around the buildings and visit other schools. It's not all the time that you must pay a lot more for get a better education. Int. schools specialy the BEST have SPECIAL FARANGPRICES but not a better education.

  5. Another friend give me pig intestine skin and now I can eat excellent homemade sausages.

Do you know where I can buy pig-intestine skin in Pattaya?

No, my wife asked the stuff from carrefour and they told her that we can buy it at a slaughterhouse in Naklua. But I don't know where in Naklua. My wife not too!!! :)

Now I use the rest of a kilo what my friend got from lampang.

  6. But WHERE is his Handy / Mobilephone!!! The most people put it in the pants. But here???? No Businessman without it!!! :)

And nobody take the notebook with if him want kill himself!!! Because nobody take something with what him not need!!! But where is the Handy??? Everybody in Thailand need it. Special if you are in business. And they don't find it in the car!!!

    Where is it??????????????????

  7. I wonder which projects have been stopped or delayed?

Maybe this? On June 24, 2009 the ITD Company signed a contract with CPN Pattaya Beach Hotel Co., Ltd. to proceed with The Central Festival Pattaya Beach Hotel - Contract Value: 231,800,000.00 Baht

Listen same they change the building company, or not?

  8. Maybe they can find out where the gays catched him before they killed him.

How do you know that they are gay?

    Cheers, Rick

Sorry, I write wrong and changed it allready!!!

Here are some contracts of the ITD-Company. They have a lot of expensive projects. Here are 2 projects in the near of Pattaya:

On June 24, 2009 the ITD Company signed a contract with CPN Pattaya Beach Hotel Co., Ltd. to proceed

with The Central Festival Pattaya Beach Hotel - Contract Value: 231,800,000.00 Baht

On 8th January, 2009 ITD Company signed a contract with Doosan Heavy Industries and Construction

Co., Ltd. to proceed with the civil and architectural works for GHECO-ONE 660 megawatt

Power Plant, Rayong Province - Contract Value: Bt 887.75 million

  9. I hope they find out fast his last way after him gone out of his home. The most 5er BMWs have GPS-Systems from factorysite and this systems write complete logfiles for the last 100 waypoints, stops, etc. So they can checkout easy where him drive and stop before him died. Maybe his car had it too.

Samething work with mobilephones too. They can checkout his last route together with the time. I don't believe the police is so stupid and don't check it.

Maybe they can find out where the men catched him before they killed him.

  10. So there is a limited market for Egyptian Coptic Christions and Lebanese Christians, but what other Arabs will buy these?

And Vienna has the OPEC headquarters, so there may be a very far-reaching connection, but to me that labelling is most misleading.

I don't believe Arabian eat wieners!!! :) A moslem eat pork? Unbelievable!!! I make my german "Thueringer Bratwurst" now self. A friend of me brought a home mincer and sausage filler with from europe. Price: 2.800 Baht

Another friend give me pig intestine skin and now I can eat excellent homemade sausages.

  11. I don't know. You all write a lot of things. Somebody of you tried to search in Google about "income tax thailand"? This work very well!!! :)

The most important you find here:

    http://www.customs.go.th/Customs-Eng/Sampl...?menuNme=Sample

The tax rate is different about what you want import and from where. The cheapest rates are from ASEAN-Countries. It's like EG in Europe.

And for shure, the cheapest way is seafreight, because the freightcosts are much more lower. But you must wait between 4-6 weeks. Sometimes it's a good idea to wait a little bit longer and pay much more smaller. But FARANGS must become everything Quick!!!! :D

  12. Take a look at the SriSuvit School. It's a private Thai school with good english lessons and Thai, Canadian, Philipin & Chinese Teachers. My sons (11+13) are there now after one year and very very happy there. They have a very good kindergarten, too. The term prices are very low about 6.000 Baht. Kindergarten maybe lower. For the Minibus we pay around 3000 Baht/Term for 14km.

The website is only in Thai: http://www.srisuvit.net/

The school is outside Pattaya on the way to SriRacha on the right site:

  13. Need to revive this thread and see if I can solicit any more comments on BEST school (just off Sukhumvit-Pattaya Tai).

After reading thru some of the previous posts I think some posters mix up the BEST school (also Burapa English School)

and the Burapa School (on the Burapa golf course). So I'd be interested in any more posts on only BEST (good or bad)

    from parents or teachers.

    Many thanks...

I had spoke about the BEST!!! Send your kids to the Srisuvit School and use the money what you save for buy a speedboat!!!

  14. The senior school at BEST is new so i dont know why they should be shit and dirty as far as 6000 for a term well thats very cheap. Wonder how they pay their staff??? Maybe Canadians just love working with kids, and dont need a salary???

Cant comment further there without experience. how ever you would have had topay a deposit so maybe this is why you had a big down payment.

Yes, it's true that the senior building was new. But now it's dirty, things broken and nobody of the staff take care really. The Srisuvit School is nearly 50 years old but looks same new!!! They have a lot of cleaning staff too. The BEST use the Kids for cleaning the school. The really different between these schools you can check very easy by a visit. The BEST are only good for charge a lot of money, but not more!!!

Only for the busservice (Minibus) I paid in the BEST for 1 kid, 11km/Oneway arround 13.500 Baht. In the Srisuvit School I pay now only 3.000 Baht for the Term for 14km with minibus. A BIG DIFFERENT, or???!!!

I can say that this school is much more cheaper, cleaner and better than BEST. It has a very friendly staff and my kids are very happy on this school.

  15. My 2 sons was last year for 7 month in the BEST Burapha. I paid for 1 month summer school and 1 term include Uniforms, Books and PickUp&Bring-Service for this 7 Month around 300.000 Baht!!!

But I found this school very shit, dirty and the staff very outrageously and disrespectful.

Now my kids (11+13) on the Srisuvit School. They teach in english to with Canadian teachers, Phillipines Teachers and next year they start with a new english programm from Classes 9-13!!

For this school I pay now only 30.000 Baht for one term include Uniforms, Books and PickUp&Bring-Service. The regular term price ia about 6.000 Baht.

The Kindergarten is very great and if you allready visited the BEST and then you visit the Srisuvit School you "WOW" see the Big different.
