Chiang Mai Imm. Office, use of TM28/TM30 when travelling in TH
Can a knowlegable Person please confirm the latest (2026) TM28/TM30 arrangements at CM Immigration when travelling, and staying in Hotels, inside Thailand. I am registered as staying at an address in Chiang Mai (through a TM28). If I, eg, travel as a Tourist to the South of Thailand, and stay in a Hotel and the Hotel registers me as a Guest (through a TM30), ... after my trip, will it be necessary for me to go to CM-Immigration to re-register my CM-address again at CM-Immigration (through a new TM28) ? ... Or is The [National] System somehow able to recognise that I was only a temporary/travelling Guest ? ... Is there a way for the Hotel to register a TM30 for me that doesn't change my permanent-address in CM ? -- Many Foreign-Residents in CM must be travelling around the Country ... I just wonder how they "conduct-their-Business" re. the TM30-situation.

Welcome to your new Prime Minister Mr Farage and this is just the start!
The man *talks* ...., but he talks a *lot* of Nonsense/Sh*te, and he's able to do that because he's *never* been In-Charge of *Anything*. .... ... Can Reform run/*improve* the Social-Care provisions in the Towns where they have a won a Majority - which forms the *largest* part (by-*far*) of Local-Authority Spending - ... let's see.

Welcome to your new Prime Minister Mr Farage and this is just the start!
*Why* would there be a General-Election called *this* month ?

I *love* these types of Threads, .... it give me an opportunity to identify-and-block/ignore *lots* of Right-Wing Extremists and Racists, and thereby ease my daily-experience on Asean-Now.

MPs Warn of National Risk as Chinese-Linked Firm Pursues Thames Water Acquisition
"The MPs behind the letter — (the Conservative's) Sir Iain Duncan Smith, Labour’s Blair McDougall, SNP’s Chris Law, Liberal Democrat Layla Moran and Lord Alton of Liverpool — are pushing for the deal to be reviewed under the National Security and Investment Act." Q: Which Administration was it that *sold* off the Water-Companies ? ...

Karoline Leavitt: The Young Firebrand Behind Trump’s Messaging Revival
Karoline Leavitt is a *perfect* example of American-Christianity in-action: she lies as easily as she breathes, she is a *horrific* person, and she exhibits zero empathy. The [Republican-led] Congress is *also* full of (purported) "Christians". -- *Anyone* who interacts with any of These-People would/should immediately question their "religious"-beliefs.

Did Trump bring shame upon the US with his Zelensky lecture?
DTrump is 78y old. I *know* several people of that age among my associates, and *none* of them have *all* of their marbles. .... He-is-The-Person/These-are-The-People that are making Vital-Decisions for the rest of us ? ... ... In The-Name-of-Dog .... * --- Why do Companies expect their Employees to retire at the age of 65 (or so) ? ... *However*, for Politicians ...

Did Trump bring shame upon the US with his Zelensky lecture?
The US wasn't (actively) involved in 1939. On 11 December 1941, three days after the United States declared war on Japan, Germany declared war on the US. Italy also declared war on the US on the same day. - That same day, the US, in its turn, declared war on Germany and Italy.

Did Trump bring shame upon the US with his Zelensky lecture?
The American Right-Wing *detest* all-Things-"Communist", and use the word *continually* to characterise/criticise/demonise all-Things-Democrat. -- But don't they feel a tad out-of-place while America sidles up politically alongside ("Ex-Communist"/Totalitarian) Russia and especially ("Communist") China ?

Did Trump bring shame upon the US with his Zelensky lecture?
I've read through the above 4 pages and added a(nother) collection of hateful, unpleasant Posters to my Ignore-List. The World itself is (unfortunately) *not* becoming a more Peaceful-Place, but my Asean-Now Threads certainly are.

Trump, the scapegoater-in-chief, calls drag queens anti-American
It is clear that Team-M consciously support it - this is what they want, and this is who they are.

Trump, the scapegoater-in-chief, calls drag queens anti-American
This is DTrump at his *best* with "Distraction-Politics". The House has just passed a contentious Tax+Spending-Bill, but Team-DT would prefer that we don't talk about it. So here we are, ... talking instead about Drag-Shows. *This* has been DT's play-book for 10y.

Elon Musk Demands Federal Workers Justify Their Jobs or Face Dismissal
30% of Federal Workers are Veterans - compared to 5% in the rest of the workforce. --- I would find it hard to believe that those Vets are Left-Leaning, Lazy Losers, who deserve to lose their jobs.

Pentagon Ordered to Brace for Deep Budget Cuts Despite Push for Increased Spending
The Congressional Republicans aren't going to say/oppose anything, and Senator Roger Wicker isn't going to say anything. -- They *know* that they're working for DTrump nowadays.

Rumbled, Rachel From Accounts
B, 5 years ago I did read a 1st-Year undergraduate Economics textbook, cover-to-cover. However Economics/Public-Finances is not my area of expertise; I make no pretence to being knowledgable on the subject, and I know that I don't know enough to make any practical suggestions. A Host of Posters on this and other Threads have stated that *they* know that the UK Government is currently doing Things wrong, but I don't see any suggestions (here) about what could be done to improve the situation. I would like the UK Government to be able to balance-the-Books, but currently (it seems that) the Government just doesn't have enough money available to keep a-large-fraction-of-The-Public even remotely "pleased" with current Public-Spending decisions. -- Rachel Reeves, as Chancellor, is in a *really* tight bind.
