Has anyone seen these anywhere in Thailand. They are sold everywhere in the US but apparently nowhere in CR. They are made to support shelves in 4 corners not like the brackets that stick out from the one wall. Need for pantry and under bar.

I heard second hand that this was the last time at Central and that they will be opening an Immigration office in CR sometime soon? Not from the horses mouth but FYI. Hopefully someone can confirm one way or another.

Any thing new on these two models?. Anyone heard the sound of mufflers?

Well, we had a small but very lively group this time. Several wives, including mine were on a tour to Burma and a couple of others had conflicting obligations. The conversations covered an untold number of differing topics as well as information sharing. Through luck of whatever, the menu still turned out great. I always worry that we could end up with all deserts or all vegetables but it always works out great and today was no exception. We missed out regular desert queens but our youngest attendee filled in quit well with delicious mini cinnibons. Wonderful.
On another subject. One of our regulars expressed a preference to having the Pot Luck Picnic all the time at the riverside park. if you have a preference on way or another please let me know.

Well it was a little more complex than normal but we will be moving back to our original location at the CR Ag Research Center for the un-rainy season. The 26th Pot Luck picnic will be held on November 25 at 13:00. Maybe we will get some leftover from some of the Thanksgiving dinners planed. Love them left overs. If you are new, back up a bit in this thread or give me a PM.

Very Interesting if correct Can you confirm? In BKK? Would be very.valuable to know if these are vastly infllated priceswhen i was ap honda getting a service done they offered either model for 120000 baht these are the 2011 - 12 models there is 100 of each Thailand only if i understood correctly .most were still availble .To be honest i thought the tsukigi exhaust sounded better than either of these

Local dealer Green Wing Chiang RaiAnyone heard the exhaust on the new models. Would be OK if it sounded at least as good as my old model CBR150. A youtube video make the Moritaki sound. tinny. Interested in a buy if the sound is motorcycle like. Also opinions on the VALUE OF increased prices. 140K for the Moritaki and 150K for the Mugen.
Where did you get those prices?

Should have said "JULY" Building a house rots your brain.

The twenty-second CR Pot Luck Picnic will be held on 29 June at 13:00 at our rainy season alternate location. It is the public park located on the river between the two bridges and a little west of the Legend Hotel.

One thing I has noticed about Forums is the absolute reluctance to say they MAY have been wrong. Most get rather defensive instead. Seems like an easy thing to do but...

I was going to say that your post was so general as to be impossible to answer. VF gave an excellent attempt.

As opposed to having them on the inside I surely do. I would rather have none but as a gesture to the lille lady I grined and bore it. It does look a bit like Mexico though. i am sure the neighbors think it is weird.

You appear to be trying to keep this forum going singlehandedly. We must have the coolest, most laid back mod of them all.

I thought the post was rather clear in its intent although I admit I thought the user was using second language English.I’m with Will on this one. Having long been a proponent of intelligent questions, I find robert’s posting style lacking in both form and substance. When questioned he immediately blocks people and boasts of have dozens of people on his list to date.
I might suggest trying a little harder to be agreeable when one is obviously in such dire and frequent need of assistance.
I have found that there are many quality members on this site that graciously provide well thought out and detailed information on requests for help without being obnoxious or condescending.
To those who provide the information without the traits mentioned I say a big THANK YOU, to those who have to 'big noise' themselves I say no thanks.

That would have been the easy Thai way but I could not find anyone willing to fabricate with the screens on the outside which I was stubborn enough to want. I also liked the solid construction of the preframed type that I bought. (Thai Australian)

Well it did not turn out as well as I hoped. We had to cut out the windows openings because the openings were too small (too much rendering?)and the cost was 2-3 times what we expected and the security bar people broke one of the windows. Oh well. TIT I do love having the screens and bars on the outside though.
Thanks Garry. We think we have one. She found someone from her village who installs windows and they did a test installation of one window. Said no problem. It was just a new thing for them. Actually easier just different. There is a compa ny called J-Man that build a lot of housing estates wuth westwern style homes: sliding glass doors & windows etc. I have a contact mobile number if you wish to give them a call. You will probably need your wife to talk with them. Let me know
Glad it worked out for you and of course after finishing your place, they will promote themselves as expert sliding glass window & door installers

You can reduce your browsers zoom to 50% and it is almost viewable.

What an excellent idea. When I can’t get anyone else to play, I could just play with myself. Wait, that doesn’t sound quite right.thanks for the good wishes with the business, i hope my lack of forum etiquette is not going to cause a falling out. anyway i get it sorry about the misunderstanding it would be good if they had a place where you could list your business without getting a friend to place a post. thanks again for the advise and thanks to harrry for sticking up for me.
Don't worry benhen, some of these guys are constantly on the look out for something to have a little squabble about. It wouldn't surprise me if some even have two user names so they can argue with themselves when pickings are slim........

Thanks. She May? have found someone but if not...Get your girl to contact my girl and they might be able to work something out. I would guess she has a number someplace but I don’t know where it might be.

I am having a little trouble finding someone to install my windows, etc. in the house I am building. They are nervous to install farang style windows (ThaiAust from Homemart). Anyone know a good non nervous installer?

Thanks Jubby My LOL of the day.El jefe, I usually employ a Guy to walk in front of my Vehicle with a Flag. Its a Hard Job and I can't seem to keep them. One Guy ran away to work in a salt mine in Siberia, One guy actually dispatched himself with a matok after a 2000 mile round trip holding that Flag. I've actually ran over more of these Guys than Dogs.
I would never call myself an Animal Lover thankfully. But I did watch a Dutch Movie once
