  1. There are many more better ways for you to do this, but that is off topic. Answer is about 3-6 times if you did not do it a year ago already.

Also... bad luck can cut it to maybe only two times.. but if they have no reason to deny you like money and address.... my answer is in the region of truth...Someone is saying over 6 is a "no" and that makes sense from a thai standpoint.. then you can extend every time by 30 days which you can and then you have effectively 12... That loophole will not go unoticed....

  2. Koh Phi phi is not what it used to be for the last 10 years.. however.. I see your point..I would rather take the public 700HP speed boat for 200 baht out to koh yao noi. That island has frozen in time in the 50`s. Very nice...

    Also.. Koh ma prao..

On the island itself.. Maybe Ao Sane...close to nai harn.., maybe Ya nui beach same area. East side is not so recommendable for swimming since it is shallow and rocky. However.. Its great for eating and relaxing.

Take a private boat out to egg island.. or koh Kai nok.

Just something I remembered now.. You might have tried it already..

  3. Alot of misconseptions...

The easy answer is in your case "no". Thai is star alliance member and Qatar is "one World".

Also you do not have one consecutive booking, but two separate.

It is correct that you check into the international terminal since you are only going to be in transit as I understand in Bkk.

  4. First of all they normally can check you in on separate tickets , but not the luggage IF the airlines are not in the same alliance.. As far as I remember Thai i in star aliance and Qatar is not.. I think they are in oneworld which amongst others consist of British Airways..hence you can not check in at least the luggage all the way due to both reasons. If you travelled without luggage it would probably be possible.

One could only dream... basically cost of living for anyone bringing in money from overseas went up over 10% over the past few years.

From Scandinavia it went up 30% so you have nothing to worry about when saying only 10.

What would be the point, if everyone keeps their blue book in the glovebox, someone can steal the car and present the book to police at a checkpoint. People other than the owners are legally driving cars everyday. If the owner happens to be driving the car then it proves ownership, otherwise its someone other than the owner driving the car, what does the bluebook prove, you borrowed a friends car. Thai logic ???

Is there an actual law that says so or is it just something that gets repeated so it must be true?

In short.. The person with the book can easily borrow money on the car. Not legal , but easy.. Same with other "books". All in all it is a valuable document. However.. I would like someone to explain to me how it is possible to actually get money on something that is not in your name.. EVEN you have the book. How does that work and why. A bank would certainly not accept it without a power of attorney at least.

Yes, I followed everything in your Lazada link, but I clicked on the "Kerry" drop-off button as it was delivered by Kerry. If you didn't see the Kerry option on the web site when you did it, it looks like that's new.

The Return Label has a large Lazada on top left and also a Kerry code on the right.

    1875112697_LazadaReturnLabel.jpg.2c96450c63128efae4f1c9d3e708e138.jpg

The girl at Rawai office started processing it, stopped, had a word with another girl and then said she couldn't do it. That's when she pointed to the Kerry office next door (which actually wasn't the drop-off office).

So it looks like they've passed the Kerry returns off to the Kerry office at the gas station, which is really handy for me - no more traffic jams to the Post Office!

I received a couple of messages on my phone's Lazada app today, each saying that my package is "on the way back to a return facility". So it looks like it's working ????.

I wonder when they will actually credit my VISA card?

7 days after it has been returned is the norm.

Just creates scum lines in sides of the pool and effects the salt chlorinator cell plates. When the plates are covered in oil they won't produce chlorine. So even self cleaning as most are now, they only "by opposite polarisation", take off calcium buildup. So the cells need cleaning with dish washing liquid at least yearly!

Good advice Bagwain..Will inspect the cells.. Are they easy to reach... or see? Just take off the plastic lid and one can see it..? I mean. I know the chlorinators comes in different styles.. Mine is in a cigar tube plastic container for example...

In what way does sunscreen affect a pool ? If one could skip the make part and ask the "visiting cuties" to wash up before they dive, sunscreen is essential even when in the water ? Could you please explain, if you have a moment please ? Thank you.

Sunscreen is seldom 100% waterproof so it will stay in the pool. Some of it that is.. The "fat" from the cream will stay on top like a grey layer and takes some time to clean. Its not bad for the pool... Its just not so clear. I have seen this myself some times, but in the beginning people told me this. Its not only ramblings from my side. Then again.. If you choose to have sunscreen in your pool do it.

  10. As far as I see.. It is about 10 bags of salt and eletric for a saltwaterchlorinated pool.. plus cleaning. Maintenance not included..

I would say eletric about 3500 for your size and 10 bags of salt at 140 baht pr. bag=1400. Mainenance or cleaning done not by yourself is around 2000 baht a month. It does matter of course how much the pool is used and if its rainy season etc.. No makeup from women or no peeing is essential.. Also no sunscreen of course...It also needs a little bit of water..if you have an overflow and not a "normal" skimmer that is under the pool top..

All grand total about 6-7000 thb.

If you have a garden... add a thousand or more depending on size to the maintenance..Prepare to change grout about every three years which would be around 25000 or less.

    Just my experience....
