Can I butt in and ask how much a service would cost for my air con, small one, I think it’s just very dirty , smells a bit when you put it on ? Im in a rented condo (3/4 months a year) and think I might have more success paying myself. Thanks.

  3. Just a short question I cant find anything about here after search.. Has anyone used the etm6 app for IOS and had any success with it?

I just thought I might print it out myself with details and not have to fiddle with the paper on the plane. I get an error message when I push "ok".

I mean.. everything is correctly filled out, but it doesnt go through. Its a system error busy or something to that effect.

The check-out date can be left blank. Depends on your plans I guess.

No... I do not think that is smart.. If you follow your passport you cant go wrong.. If however you go to another country before the check out date it doesnt matter.. There is no requirement to register what date you leave the country. Your passport say that.

Check-in date defaults to today or yesterday, it can't be overwritten. It's basically the day/previous day of filing.

Check-out date: we've been using the current extension of stay 'expiration' date, which has proven acceptable.

Exactly.. Use the last day your visa or visa exemption is valid as check out date.. If you however stay longer you get a new visa and just do it again.

hey, doc!  have you done this without including the owners id card and property book?

if only lease and your passport, have you received a receipt yet?  if so, when did you send it and how long did that take?

Another good reason to let the TM30 remain. Police and immigration have now a data base on peoples abode. Must make it easier to locate offenders living in Thailand. Yeah I'm for it.

I strongly doubt he has been a law abiding citizen and reported his whereabouts. TM30. I bet he doesnt want to even know what it is.....But then again.. Come to think about it.... That might be the whole point in enforcing it. By not reporting IM would know you are in country due to TM6, but has not reported ergo you have something to hide ...

I have always got an International Driving Permit each year and when checked at Karon & Kathu etc road blocks never even had to open it, just got waved through when I pulled it out.

But importantly, I always got it because of travel insurance and eliminating one of the very many reasons an Insurance company can decline a claim.

Many people do not realise that if you do not have a valid motorcycle licence in your own country travel insurance rarely covers you for an accident and almost never if it is a bike or scooter over 200cc.

The last paragraph makes sense , but its not implemented like that in scandinavia.. It is more logical than that.. It requires you to have either that or more importantly a valid driving license in the country you have the accident.. Be it a thai license or an international one.. Either or.. You do not for example need a license in your home country if you have a license in lets say antartica and have your accident there...

Sign up as posessor as stated online.. Leave scans of bluebook, passport and the rest.. no need for landlord then..... You can report yourself is whats funny..

Took no more than 2 hours to obtain the passwords...

You're getting something confused here - double and triple entry visas ceased to exist worldwide when the METV replaced them in 2015. From the announcement on the Oslo embassy website at the time:

"From 13 November 2015, Tourist Visa with Multiple Entry valid for 6 months from the issue date with duration of stay up to 60 days per visit will be introduced. Therefore, the existing Tourist Visa with 2 and 3 entries will no longer valid after the introduction of the Tourist Visa with Multiple Entry."

I see.. Thanks for pointing it out..
