Don't worry . I'm sure the next pandemic will knock the numbers down to 2020-2021 levels. -
Thailand’s DES Ministry Blocks Access to Over 178,000 Illegal URLs
FlorC replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
NT blocks certain sites , while true/3B doesn't. I can't remember who wanted the internet firewall decades ago , taksin gov or the Prayut gov. Sinds 14 months the new gov has been blocking sites , raising taxes , more aligned with the WEF , ... Give us back Prayut ! -
I have a Dell xps , but you can forget about gestures on touchpad and screen like in windows. In linux only basic gestures and if you want to change the cooling like in mydell or dell power manager you have to go in the bios to set it. Too many downsides using linux mint. Newest computers are less supported too in linux. Forget about the easy taskmanager of W11 , no looking at the status of your gpu's. So glad to reinstall W11. But at least in linux there is no mandatory Dell audio enhancer cr_p.

Thailand's Pet Food Exports Soar 31%, Raking 80 Billion Baht
FlorC replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
The latest from whiskas is more soup/sauce in those 80 gr packages than something to chew on. Their sheba even worse. So much better in europe. -
Thailand's Pet Food Exports Soar 31%, Raking 80 Billion Baht
FlorC replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Well that is a big surprize . Cat food is really bad in Thailand. All stinky fish. Limited choice , all the same from wiskas, friskies or the unknown brands from the supermarkets (that stink even more). My cats don't like it very much. I don't blame them. Brought some from europe , and they loved it. Raw meat is a hazard . Still looking for jingjoks and mice in a can. 🙂 -
The West’s Unlikely Weapon in a Conflict with China: Pornography
FlorC replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Headline should be : The West’s Unlikely Weapon in a Conflict with North Korea: Pornography A lot of Chinese porn since a couple of years. A lot of Japanese porn directed and subtitled for the Chinese. Western propaganda targetting the N-Koreans in Ukraine. Tough choice , watching porn and get shot today , or survive ? -
Discover the fruits found in Thailand that help combat cancer
FlorC replied to snoop1130's topic in Pattaya News
Or give you cancer because they are sprayed with all kinds of toxins. If I can't peel it , I'm not eating it , and even then it is not safe. -
Are you driving via Tak or Phitsanulok ? The 1 was a bad concrete road , don't think it has bettered and 117 is still awful. The 11 has been renewed and made wider but only use if driving via Phitsanulok. Both 117 and 11 to Phits are very boring , nothing to see.

How do they know about your bank in belgium ? From sending money though them to thailand ? You can have several banks in belgium or else where. 1 bank is not going to know your wealth, just what is on your account there. Did your bank give them all the information or just your income deposited at their bank ? Which belgian bank ?

It's a clean feeling , knowing everything is flushed out. The water is usually pretty clean here .

Isn't that where the multifunctional bumgun comes in handy ? I don't want to go to the toilet when I'm not home , so I "help" to flush it out before I go out .

Thai Baht's Strength Puts Pressure on Fiscal Revenue Collections
FlorC replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Don't worry , next year they are going to get their hands on all those expat incomes , maybe even on their worldwide income. -
Our money is dying ?? Not my money. Isn't it your own fault ? I'm getting richer every day doing nothing . With gold and silver going up much , I now get a bit of the thrill of the bitcoiners. You should have bought precious metals or crypto . What worries me is that I die way before my money does. Too much money and nothing to spend it on. So basicly my post is the opposite of yours.

Black Cobra Found Under Car’s Hood, Fearless Monk Captures It Barehanded

Yes upload speeds are usually lower , but it does not explain why seeding doesn't start even if it indicated that there are "willing peers" . That friend of mine was recently in europe , and there was absolutely no problem uploading downloaded torrents. Same computer , same torrent program. I wonder what would be less obvious for companies like true/nt/3BB : downloading slow but steady at 500 KB/sec or quick at a top speed of about 15 MB/sec ? Even if you use a vpn.
-
Does download speed really matter ? Unless you're downloading full blueray rips @ 40 GB or so ... Of course I do not torrent because it is illegal , but a friend of mine does. Downloading is not a problem , but uploading is. NT really throttles uploads , weirdly enough especially in the weekend. Hard to get a 1:1 ratio. Or so I'm told , because I would never ....

^ That was a post from july 2023 . I have my own NT fiber line , but my thai landlord did it for me . 316 B/month , but at MY request I pay for full year .

Bank of Thailand Interest Rate Cut Offers Boost to Tourism Sector
FlorC replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Again , last week gold had a dip , the thb dipped , now gold is back higher , nearly 80k euro and the thb goes up. The goldshops here don't have to change their price , gold in thb is stable. -
Is that an inspiron or XPS ? In 2006 they looked nearly the same. Looks like my XPS 17 m1710 from 2006 which is still running with XP SP2 media version here with me. I used it with XP till febr 2023 , 10 years or so after end of support. So W10 can still be used for years after oct 2025.

Anyone knows why Lazada won't let you review all items in 1 order from 1 seller when you bought many items ? Most so far for me was 9 out of 23 . Written review or just giving a star rating. The not reviewed ones are listed to be reviewed , but when you click on them, it goes back to to ones you already reviewed. 9 is not a steady number , I've had about 5 out of 8 they let me review. I chatted with them , but haven't heard back.

Baht strength - How long?
FlorC replied to gejohesch's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
It seems THB follows the gold price since April. Euro to Thai Baht Exchange Rate Chart | Xe While in other currencies Gold is al lot up , it stays steady in THB. Gold is going to keep going up , so will the THB. The US elections may reverse both.
