It's worked well for the (hopefully) outgoing government though.

This one is particularly perilous for Trump and friends: If convicted, it carries a mandatory, non probationary, prison sentence. The hearing may be televised. No presidential pardon is allowed. For those unfamiliar with the RICO law (including myself, until I watched it), this is a very good explanation:

Given which recent president was born there, I'm surprised Trump even acknowledges Hawaii is part of the US.

I thought that a list of a Trump supporter's best reasons being blank was the whole point. (There wasn't even any video when it first appeared, just a grey empty space)...

Considering how many courts he's seen, racketeering would seem to be an appropriate charge. Let's hope he gets the grand slam.
