  1. @Lennox7

I spoke with Tom several times after I discovered what Roger was and what he was not. I found Tom's posting months before and when I mentioned it to Roger he just remarked "Tom's a fine boy." I left it at that. But when things started falling into place and there were threats and danger to my family, I armed myself with knowledge and di d so by calling Tom.

After a week or two Tom decided he didn't want to know any more about his father. I could say more but I don't want to violate Tom's privacy. Let's just say that Roger's hasty exit left damage that is still felt today in that family.

You're right about the rock - he's been under the radar for a long time so he must be at rock bottom. There was always talk of money in the Cayman's and in Singapore but like much of what was said, it probably was a ruse.

  2. How utterly amazing that out of the 11 pages of comments from all you smart ex pats, you all have decided that Nattiyanee is the guilty party. I know Roger. He was my neighbor for 3 years. Did any of you even think twice about the statement that she died while they were quote "negotiating?"

Earth 666? A euphemism for the devil. Very clever. No one noticed that either. Funny the article doesn't mention his daughter with a bar girl - she must be 18 by now. She is an American by naturalization. The daughter that the article references as 11 must be his biological daughter Sara with Nattiyanee - she was 6 or 7 when I lived near him. God help her if he should get custody. I do not remember her being a naturalized United States Citizen. So one article gets printed all around Thailand based on what Roger told a reporter and you all take it as gospel.

By the way, if a mod wants proof of what I am saying, I can prove it beyond a doubt.

Nattiyanee was a good mother who tried to protect her children and to also protect Roger's oldest daughter who was not her daughter. She's dead and cannot defend these accusations and all the barbs thrown by you well meaning expats.

You all should think before you write nonsense. What if you are all wrong?

I commend you, Sir. Of all the self-righteous indignation and vile hatred on this thread, you stand out as about the only credible source about this case.

Hang in there, Mr. Stuck. A lot of these guys have an axe to grind. And they will absolutely not let facts get in the way of a good public lynching!

Seriously? You think this lunatic doesn't have an axe to grind?

    This must be a wind-up surely,he's as mad as a March hare!rolleyes.gif

Regardless whether I have an axe to grind or not, I know this man personally. Do you?

I am the only one who has posted anything that also has first hand knowledge. I know this man. I know his family, at least what is left of it.

  4. Maybe all you fine people who disparaged Su would like to see a picture of her. She's dead, so go ahead and continue all the comments you had before about her.

    I'll just wait whistling.gif

Leave here and never come back.
I agree. Either make a point with clear statements, or stop this veiled nonsense. Slander and libel laws are meant to protect corrupt politicians from being exposed in public media, I suspect they would have little bearing on any farang versus farang battles. So make your point, or just go away.

Have you not been reading? I made very poignant statements and they were removed. I cannot be concise or I run afoul of the board rules.

    Not my call.

Go talk to the Banglamung Police.

  5. I was not defrauded nor did I have a physical business in Thailand. Not close. Next.

You want to remain elusive and mysterious. You toss out bits of veiled data. Those of us reading these missives are gaining morsels of unclear info. Am I interested in knowing more about the guy and others mentioned in the OP? Yes, a bit. Am I interested in unveiling Mr. Mysterioso called 'Stuck'? No.

I sense danger but cannot due to limitations of this forum write what I want to write. I'm sure that if anyone wants to walk into the Banglamung Police Station and walk to the office of women and children's protection (1st floor right off the side door entrance) they could show the article and picture to the nice Colonel there and he would likely tell you everything that I cannot. I want someone to take the article to them so they know where he is. Maybe they will call the Colonel in Bangkok who is helping poor Roger. I'm sure once they start talking all sorts of things will happen.

  6. I was not defrauded nor did I have a physical business in Thailand. Not close. Next.

So it's just more defamation and lies from you then?I think we're starting to get the picture now!

Is that right? I know this man. I know him well. He knows me. I'll say it again as it appears that saying this is quite safe for both myself and the board owners: The Bangkok Police should speak with the police in Chonburi. They would be told much more than was in this article. The Chonburi Police have knowledge of this man that I also have. But coming from them seems to be more palatable to most here at ThaiVisa. So be it.

Perhaps I will call that nice Colonel mentioned in the article and suggest that he talk to the Colonel in Banglamung.

However Eesat, some people know who I am and they are on this board. My real name is associated with this name used here "stuck."

I suggest that you are defaming me by claiming that I am lying. Watch out, maybe I will have you arrested under Thai libel/slander laws.

I hope you have a good lawyer.

    Now run along.

    *edited out*

NAAM knows me. I met him once at his house.

    That negates your statement.

Explain why you think I am a loser. That in itself should be fascinating.

does that mean Naam only receives honest and important people in his house?

I don't speak for Naam. Ask him yourself.

Why should God need to help her if he (Roger) gets custody then? She's an adult in her own right at 18,does custody even apply.I would think she is at the legal age to decide herself where she wants to live?

Would you like to expand on the slur on your ex-neighbour Roger,or is it just hearsay and gossip you're here to spread without him being able to defend himself. The very thing you seem outraged about when applied to his ex-wife now deceased,Nattinyee?

That is a fine question best answered by the fine people who work for the Royal Thai Police specifically in the Banglamung Police Station in the office of Women and Children's protection. I think they have some insight on this matter that no one here has, except for me of course.

  10. Let's just speak hypothetically: A thai corporation is an entity in law just as you or your Thai wife are entities. Let's just say you're an American Expat on the run for more than 25 years and you want to hide your money from not only the US Feds but also from the Thais and your Thai wife. What do you do?

    Make a baby.

That's what you do, and as soon as you have that baby, you naturalize that baby into an American. Then you make that little Thai/American baby the majority shareholder in the company, 51 percent. You take the next largest share. Of course as an American you could have created a Corporation under the still valid Treaty of Amity that America has with Thailand and you could 100 percent owner of the Thai Corporation but then the US Feds would know about your corp and expect your taxes on said corporation.

And let's keep speaking hypothetically assuming the child is not the child of your present wife, but the child of a bar girl in Phuket whom you pay off so that she signs over custody 100 percent to you.

Now you control a Thai Corporation 100 percent because you control the majority shareholder. Ah, but there is a problem. Who will be the managing director? You don't want your name on the documents so you name your present Thai wife married in the village but not at the Ampur. And still speaking hypothetically, let's assume that you are a swindler. The money that you brought a quarter century ago from the United States is gone you have become a full fledged con man fleecing expats out of the life savings by say ... well still speaking hypothetically ... by using condemnation by easement.

Now it gets very interesting as the empty heads hear a new word - hypothetically of course. What that is, is simple. You find a hotel that is profitable or a business that uses an easement across its neighbors properties because they don't have access directly to the roads. Then you buy the properties around them.

    Hypothetically of course.

Now you tell the poor foreigner that his clients can no longer drive across your property to get to the hotel or business. You're the new owner so you can do what you want. When the business starves because a cancer has surrounded it, you then make the business an offer and buy the business too. Now you open the roads to the business and you have a profitable business sold to you buy a foreigner who invested his life savings but you don't care because hypothetically you are a pathological person who could care less if you bankrupt the man or the business. And in a rude twist, you name your company hypothetically of course, EVIL THAI CORPORATION.

And the company grows. Your daughter can own 51 percent because she is Thai and you are her guardian. You buy yourself a nice car - say hypothetically a Blue Toyota Camry and you drive the streets of your new country looking for properties to buy. You're a predator for sure, like a shark going down Sukumvhit but you laugh as you think of how many people you've ruined and in your own way you know they deserved it.

All this is hypothetical for sure, but it does make the point that you don't need to marry a Thai women to achieve this level of dishonesty.

There are plenty of reasons for marrying a Thai woman. This is not one of them. Hypothetically speaking of course.

  11. I don't live in Thailand anymore. It's only libel or slander if it is not true.

You obviously know nothing of Thai law then...it can be libel/slander even if it is true...its called defamation and you seem hell bent on doing a character assasination on this guy and it aint because of your care and concern over his family

As I stated in a previous post..if you have evidence of any wrong doing by the guy then you need to send this to the RTP...not air your dirty washing on TV

I have already stated quite clearly the the Royal Thai Police, at least in Banglamung are very familiar with this gentleman. Dirty washing? Really? You all pile on the dead wife calling her all sorts of names, none of them were deserved and you tell me I am washing dirty laundry. Let me tell you, the whole story concocted by Roger stinks. I know this story quite well.

Stuck, thanks for your new info. I actually wasted about 30 min reading 12 pages of speculation.

More like 12 pages of nonsense. Most of the users except for a few are nothing more than empty heads.

  13. The guy has more chance of winning the lottery, being hit by a meteorite, struck by lighting and discovering he is the next in line to be the King of Sweden all in the same day, than ever seeing any of his stolen assets returned.

And his late wife did in an accident? The mind boggles.

Indeed the mind boggles when one thinks about Su's (her nickname) death. She had her daughter Sara with her and I think the cousin. I thought one of the children died as well. I'm glad to hear they did not. One would think that the Police Colonel in Bangkok would have called the Police Colonel in Chonburi, specifically the head of the women and children's protective service where Roger is well known. I'm sure they can tell the Bangkok Colonel plenty. Su was not the only one who got arrested, there is a picture of Roger on the wall of the women and children's protective office. I'm sure they have much to tell.

  15. This can easily be avoided.

In Thailand I always opened two bank accounts at the same bank. One account was linked to the ATM card, the other was not but was linked to the other account for online banking purposes. I never transferred money into the ATM account unless I need to withdraw it.

If someone steals your card, they can only get the money in the atm account, not the other account that you control online.

I suggest also not using internet cafe's for your banking, only use your own laptop.

    Problem solved.

  16. American held after bank robbery

PATHUM THANI: -- An American man was yesterday apprehended following a bank robbery in Pathum Thani, in which he was implicated as the faceless lone robber.

Harold Guyier, 54, remains in custody of Pratoonam Chulalongkorn police after protesting his innocence. He has been charged with armed robbery, although police said they are still seeking further evidence.

Guyier was found not far from a Siam City Bank branch which had been robbed a short time before by a hooded person, thought to be a man. He told security guards and police he was merely "strolling around", even after police found a set of clothing worn by the lone robber discarded and hidden in a bush nearby.

According to police, the robber in a black hood entered the branch at noon, jumped over a counter to open a drawer and grabbed a stash of banknotes, totalling Bt148,600 and ran away. The robber said nothing during the five-minute heist.

No details are available about the robber's build and other distinctive details, but his clothing - a cream-coloured overall and a hat of the same colour, a black hood, a pair of sunglasses and a pair of black gloves, were all found abandoned in the bush.

Onlookers and the bank's security guards chased the robber and overpowered him in a struggle, before he shot pepper spray in their faces and made off.

Police said they were waiting for DNA-based test results to determine whether the clothing was worn by Guyier.

Hmmm, they find him "near" the clothing. That sure is suspicious that in a crowded area he could be near stashed clothing. Am I the only one to notice that they didn't claim to find the money near him or on him? Sure seems suspicious.

  17. Thats good news for him. Why ruin this young mans life by throwing him inside? I love Thailand and I am pleased that they have chosen to recognize this mans potential and given him a second chance. Lets just hope he has the manpower to police his forum more stringently.

    What?

    Recognize potential?

    Second Chance?

    Pish posh.

    They were paid off.

Please take off those rose-colored Thai glasses, they're messing with your vision.

  18. My 4 year old golden has been vomiting her food for the past 2 days. We took her to the Vet last night and she took a blood test. We were told tonight that her ALT (liver) test showed 300 which the Vet shouldn't be above 150. On Saturday the dog will have an ultrasound (specialist coming from Mahidol).

Until then, the Vet has given us antibiotics to give to the dog twice per day. Despite a good appetite, the dog keeps throwing up anything we give her (including the medicine). Her weight is down to 26 kgs.

Does anyone know what may be wrong with her?

    Check for parasites.

  19. What is the difference between Thailand and Nigeria? The short answer is not much. The longer answer is that most embassies give stern warnings to travelers to alert them that anything done in Nigeria puts you at risk for scams and strong-arm tactics.

How can these lying Thais come out at high levels and tell everyone that they'll investigate? They are in on it.

Corruption in Thailand is not only condoned but encouraged. I had my own taste of it at the airport when the Animal Contol scumbags there held my parrots ransom when my sister brought them into Thailand from the USA. I had to liberate a few hundred dollars from my wallet to free my animals even though the paperwork was ok.
