  1. 99% of scientists agree they don't want to be defunded.
  2. Definitely. Trust and respect. And it also means you can liaise directly with them instead of relying on your wife/gf. A few months ago, I heard my wife arguing with her brother because he was trying to borrow money. I sent him a message on LINE (in Thai: I get by in spoken Thai but have limited writing proficiency so I use Google Translate, speak in the microphone and it will write it for you) telling him to give it a break. Problem solved instantly.
  3. In 2007, he referred to Barack Obama as “the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean.” In 2006, he said, “You cannot go to a 7-Eleven or a Dunkin’ Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent.” Way back in 1977, he said that forced busing to desegregate schools would cause his children to “grow up in a racial jungle.” https://www.heritage.org/progressivism/commentary/bidens-history-getting-away-racist-remarks
  4. What did they expect, coming from this guy? Biden said two-party system in South was 'good for the Negro' https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/biden-said-two-party-system-in-south-was-good-for-the-negro

  6. Now imagine if this had happened between January 2017 and January 2021… Media and political hysteria would have ensued, and probably another impeachment for good measure. Looking forward to the coming 15 months… Biden could appear naked with a gun in his hand and his defenders would still try to minimize, excuse and deflect towards Trump. Pathetic but very entertaining nonetheless.
  7. Sorry to hear about your problems Owl, I hope everything will work out for you.
  8. Klaus Schwab would concur. "Nothing to hide, nothing to fear", right? Cashless means CBDCs, which means total government overreach and potential dictatorship, especially when combined with "social credit score" systems. Don't tell me such systems will never happen, they already have with the vaccine passports: scan your QR code, green (good citizen) you're in, red (bad citizen) you're out. Accept cashless and you're opening the door to this: How China's 'social credit' system blocked millions of people from travelling https://www.cbc.ca/radio/thecurrent/the-current-for-march-7-2019-1.5046443/how-china-s-social-credit-system-blocked-millions-of-people-from-travelling-1.5046445

  10. Good afternoon, I hold a multiple-entry non-O based on marriage. Among the few options available going forward, I am considering using an agent (my current address is in Pattaya, I don't have 400k and Jomtien immigration will not accept my monthly income as I am not a pensioner). From what I have gathered, for a flat fee you get your 1 year extension and all your worries are behind you, which is tempting to say the least. So my questions are (for the more knowledgeable people here, thanks in advance by the way): - Is there such an agent in Pattaya? - How much does it cost to "sort you out" despite not meeting financial requirements? - Are there any risks in doing that? Thank you!
  11. Hello all, There are several threads on the forum related to this matter and I have read them carefully, however I still haven't found a clear answer with regards to my issue: My son was born last year in Thailand, but due to unforeseen circumstances I was unable to attend the birth. In typical Thai fashion, one of my girlfriend's cousins who happened to be there at the time was named as the father on the birth certificate. We are currently in the process of registering our marriage and it should be sorted within the next three months. I will then be my son's legal guardian. The problem, however, lies with the birth certificate: my son doesn't bear my surname and the one feedback I got regarding this is that it can be very hard to revert. Is it really that hard to get the amper to issue a revised birth certificate if we're married and the said cousin shows up with us and explains what happened? Thanks.
