Little village life is great if you have a few farangs to clear your thought and get the right info needed as locals don't want to lose face so the answers are generally don't know just in case their wrong. To hard basket is 90 % of the questions one asks. Search, search and search again, then life will be a lot easier.

It comes all to the point from where the farangs come. I have a few farang friends and we meet twice a year for a BBQ but I normally stay away from farangs that just settle down in Isaan with their new found love from Pattaya.

A great performance against a poor Fulham team. Dominated from start to finish and it could have been even more. I was very happy with some of the football we played last night.

Onto next week, Everton away will be a tough game. Please don't tell me you want to drop Gerrard for that game eh long?

Ha ha, I don't think so mate. One game Gerrard is usually up for, is this one. I really hope we stick with that formation with Lucas sitting in front of the back 4, with the trio of Countinho, Stevie and Hendo playing across the middle, it looks so much better. I would like to see Sakho partner Agger in defence to deal with Lukaku, he will be a handful.

Yes I like that formation too. Thought the movement yesterday was very good. Yes Lukaku will certainly be a handful, you think he will leave out Skirtel?

I don't know mate because he's been doing well but I think them 2 playing together will be suicide. Lukaku will bully the pair of them. The only one capable of standing up to him is Sakho, who I think is still finding his feet (not literally) with the pace of the premiership. Isn't it great that we have these headaches.

With Coutinho back to full fitness I think Brendan will stick with the 4132 or 433 (hard to say exactly wot formation it was yesterday). Enrique should come back in to the starting line up imo for the bitters, Cissokho will get raped down that side.

Edit: there's 10 outfield players.....:-)

Disagree there Stevie, Suarez in his games back has been head n shoulders above anyone in our team closely followed by Sturridge and Coutinho (before getting injured). Then you will have the likes of Hendo, Toure, Mignolet and maybe even Skrtel have all played better than Gerrard.

I do agree with your first point though, he is wasted in that position and most of the opposition are just taking the piss and knocking it past him. Maybe BR will go back to his 4-3-3 with coutinho back.

Yes I agree that is different and understand what you are saying, I disagree though that on the whole of the course of the 10 games he has been "<deleted>". 

 

I can understand your point about our midfield being outplayed, controlled, dominated etc in big games and I have the same thoughts however I don't think taking our captain and leader out would combat these problems.

That's your opinion mate and I respect it but we need more energy in the middle of the park and I just don't think Gerrard is playing well at all. Ask yourself when was the last time Stevie had a good solid game. The West Brom game was great and apart from our front two taking the headlines it was Lucas that day for me.

i'm always unsure about resting gerrard, but he does look like he needs one at the minute. i'm hoping this is one of those flat-track games where our front three is good enough to beat them and we don't necessarily have to worry about our slightly worrying midfield.

I'd rather have Lucas, Joe and Hendo at the moment and give a run out for Alberto later on. Poor Hendo has been running his <deleted> off for them two.

i think you'd be surprised by what a lot of us think actually.  I have no axe to grind with Liverpool.  Id like to see them back to their best but not quite as good as Spurs obviously,  and i have great memories of Paisley's team doing us proud in europe.  

 

That said, i still don't know what it is to be a Liverpool fan.  You're all so different.

I live near the Thai-French beef company (maybe the name has changed nowadays) in Sakon Nakhon, we take a drive down there and buy it straight from the knackers yard. Quality beef.
