  1. So far it would appear that Trump is even less competent than Biden, and significantly more insane, unhinged, unworthy, and undignified. He may go down in the history as the 46th worst ever, he has an awful lot to prove in order to make sure that's not the case. And it would appear that Trump has BDS, and it would appear that his obsession prevents him from talking about real issues. Unless you call his Gaza development plan a real issue. A big smoke screen it would appear.
  2. I would like him to reinstate the hundreds of thousands of jobs that he has torn asunder, and I like him to prove that those jobs are not necessary. I would like him to be even moderately accountable for the money that he supposedly claims he's saved. I would like there to be a modest level of transparency, is that really too much to ask?
  3. A day trip would be fine and I would gladly volunteer to supervise the trip.
  4. It takes a real sick mind and a bankrupt soul to visit a foreign country like Thailand, and rip off the local stores. Either these goons are incredibly desperate, incredibly stupid, or just doing it for sport. Regardless, they should be punished and the punishment should be such that they never forget it for the rest of their lives, and never consider doing something so incredibly stupid again. I have some suggestions but they're probably not fit for these pages.
  5. Well my heart does go out to the people who have made the huge mistake of purchasing a Tesla in the first place, but the reality is that Elon the destroyer is no longer the man that he used to be, and though he used to be quite popular his desire to engage himself in politics has diminished his popularity to an astonishing degree, and made him one of the most hated men on earth. He's a completely ridiculous man, the more wealthy he's become the more obnoxious he's become, the more arrogant he's become, the more self-righteous and the more insufferable. Trump made a tremendous mistake by giving him more power than he already had, and time will reveal what a tragic decision that was. Boycott Tesla, don't buy anything that he is associated with, knock him off his pedestal, bring him back down to earth, try to knock some sense into his absolutely foolish head, and take some pride in doing the right thing and helping America.
  6. Come on now we all have to have a little bit of excitement in our lives. I'm curious as to why so many people were upset by my comment, live and let live right?
  7. Dentists are a very special breed of people and need to be protected at all costs. After all, who would want to stand there all day with a drill in their hands staring into people's mouths and working on decayed teeth? Protect the dentists, give them special status and punish all who prey upon them!
  8. I certainly agree with you about life 20 years ago, but I think that applies to the entire planet, not just Bangkok. But I also agree with you that Bangkok is an amazing city, and it's very easy to get lost in that place!
  9. Granted, it's probably fairly difficult for those of us who have sanity and rational minds to even conceive of preying upon children. The harshest penalties possible should be applied to these twisted and demented souls.
  10. Find him guilty, lock him up and make sure he never sees the light of day again. Or better yet just take him out. Anyone who commits these sorts of crimes self revokes the right to consume oxygen.
  11. This is one of the problems with electing a billionaire and having him appoint the richest man in the world to cut jobs. They just don't care, they are pathological super freaks and they just don't care about the common man one iota. They don't feel his pain, they don't understand why he's complaining, they don't understand why everybody's not falling in line with total and complete obedience.
  12. Though I do expect the baht to dip, trade tensions are just a small part of the equation. The economy here is in tatters, and it is still suffering from 10 years of the Prayuth Decimation. The debt is higher than it's ever been, the banks are being very stingy with loans at this point because the default rates are so high, the new car market has stalled, property sales are very slow, and exports are dropping, so the problems are numerous. As if those problems weren't enough, though the tourist arrival numbers are high, the quality of tourists continues to drop, and the amount that the average tourist is spending continues to drop, so the total revenue being brought in from tourism is significantly less than it was pre-covid. I could go on. A message to the young PM. You might as well stop with the lies because nobody believes you anymore.
  13. Sounds like you've been spending too much time on the Sukhumvit area Bangkok. I see a lot of people who are just skating by, and keeping the belts very tight, not spending money on luxuries, not buying new cars, not replacing old motorbikes, and not buying homes at this point. So you do not seem to be attuned to where the economy is right now.
  14. Thanks for stating the obvious, unfortunately most maga devotees withe don't seem to have the reasoning power to figure that stuff out on their own, or their blind obedience compels them to simply go along with the statements of the felon.
  15. The dunce has the lowest approval ratings in modern times, at this stage of the presidency. Which means alot of people who voted for him disapprove of the extreme actions he has taken. Attacking friends and allies and coddling dictators comes at a price, Don.
  16. I live in a small town so my trips are generally within three or four km. of my home, and I usually use my motorbike, but when I'm in the car I don't need a seatbelt to drive 3 km.
  17. What many of us want to see is for Musk to go on one of these Mars missions and perhaps never return. I hear you can get really good deals on real estate up there so hopefully he'll start investing in Mars land soon for his new home. But we know he does not have the courage for that. He is a total social misfit, and is not wearing his wealth, nor his power lightly. Musk appears to have extremist tendencies. I have respect for his achievements, but zero respect for the small man.
  18. Otherwise known as Trump deceives his supporters. A disease marked by a lack of intellectual discrimination, whereby reason and one's own view of the world is distorted by an extremist freak, who is hellbent on disrupting the world order and destroying the economy. Opinions are not allowed. Only complete fealty is accepted. With many people, once they got attached to a theory, it was hard to get them detached. They’d screen out unhelpful facts, invent favorable ones, and ignore contradictions in their own claims. Look at those Sandy Hook, multiple fraud convictions, and Jan. 6th truthers, babbling about false flags and crisis actors and all the rest. When people were motivated enough to believe something, they were going to believe it no matter what. There was no such thing as a bridge too far.
  19. These are wonderful devices. I only use them around town. Never on the highway, which would be asking for trouble.
  20. Well of course there was some risk, but will you at least be courageous enough to admit that working in an air conditioned office on the base doing press releases, was far less dangerous than the guys who were taking live incoming rounds, and trying to stay alive on roads that were planted with IEDs? Can you do that?
  21. The best way to pawn a refrigerator is to carry it on your motorbike to the pawn shop.
  22. It's particularly sad and bordering on pathetic when somebody makes up an issue in order to defend their political leader, and show fealty to him. I do have some friends that will come right out and say the man is a butthead, he's an idiot, and he's an absolute clown, but I like his policies. Those are the Republicans I admire. I'm a Centrist Dem, but I had no problem criticizing Biden, Obama, and Clinton when they were president, if I didn't agree with their policies. Very, very few Republicans seem to have that capacity these days. Such obedience to an ideology. Yikes.
  23. I totally agree and the same applies to Vance, who spent 6 months working in an air conditioned office writing press releases, not exactly what I would call dangerous or courageous.
  24. We are seeing more of these silly inane and juvenile threads on this forum lately, all for the sake of defending a politician who is a complete failure in life, has put forth ridiculous and extreme policies, and seems hellnent on destroying the world economy. The correct title of the article should be "the US under its current leader hates democracy, and is striving to become authoritarian". The EU is wonderful, I give them tremendous credit for pushing back against the US, and each and every nation has a responsibility to just say no to the morally bankrupt orange creep. Such a sad post, such a pathetic attempt to defend an indefensible man.
  25. Ukrainians, Georgians, and Chechens. Tens of thousands of them. Forgotten already, huh?
