  1. Are they referring to the obsession with yellow fluid?
  2. No. Gas prices are dropping because oil prices have dropped, and you forgot to reduce gas prices by much, and instead over charged. Now, you attempt to claim credit for something that is corrupt and unfair to the people.
  3. Good. Maybe the goons will realize there is a price to be paid for sloth, indifference, massive corruption, and letting the caustic, toxic army soldiers and officers, and the cops, deal in weapons. Hurt them where they feel it most. Go after their sacred golden calf of money.
  4. The beaches, the gals, the food, the lack of freezing cold weather, the standard of living, the fun loving nature of alot of Thais I know, the sense of community, the humor. The cost of labor. I could go on and on. So thrilled to have left the broken US in the rear view.
  5. I realize that. It would require a major reset, which I believe will happen. I see the Dow dropping to 3,300. Unemployment at 46%. The economy is way over inflated. A major correction will happen. It is simply a matter of timing.
  6. No thanks. I consider beer to be one of the most boring drinks on earth. Thai beer is only rivaled by Serbian beer, and the mass produced American beers, in terms of the very low quality. Poor grade of hops, barely, and the production process seems to be entirely lacking in pride. Typical of the big monopolies. Even a large production beer, like Beer Laos blows away any Thai beer, hands down. Thailand desperately needs a vital craft beer movement, and the youth are ready to mount it. If only the dinosaurs would stop protecting their "bankers" and move out of the way. In other words, allow some progress, you mindless simpletons!
  7. The worst of these guys tend to work the streets of Pattaya. I give them wide berth and never engage in conversation. There are alot of ladyboy hooligans in Pattaya.
  8. It doesn't take much to "spark a heated debate among netizens" these days, as they seem to have all the time in the world to stay focused on such important issues.
  9. Her father is not a man. He is an insect, and he needs to be exterminated, as soon as possible.
  10. That has been my experience too, and they ask for a $250 application fee which is not refundable so it's basically just the donation to the US government. They hardly ever approve tourist visas for Thais, unless they're quite wealthy, so if you can show very significant assets in the bank, in her name, it's a different story. Same applies to a student visa, the student visa is even a longer shot. Once we got married it was very easy to get a 10-year multiple entry visa from my Thai wife and the only paperwork they wanted to see was my original passport, and that was it! Granted.
  11. Boring. Reminds me of the kids who post a bowl of oatmeal on Instagram. Sorry, some of us have interesting lives. Your desire to post sometimes leaves your topics rather vapid.
  12. Have a good life. Live long and prosper. I will likely die in Thailand. And I am thrilled with the prospect of staying. I can't think of a single country I would rather be in. At least on my budget. Too many joys to even describe. Some of us have very good lives here. The taxation plans are of zero concern to me. I am not a Thai taxpayer. Simple as that.
  13. Worst time to buy. Market has peaked, and can only drop from here. And if a major recession hits, all bets are off. How large could the drop be? 40%? Thailand condos are so over built.
  14. When you add duck oil it makes the donuts richer in flavor. Good idea.
  15. Please explain why the brilliant Kushner plan would have saved Israel from this attack or pacified Hamas? Can you? Or is spouting slogans the limit of your political understanding?
  16. Thank you. When someone of your ilk labels us as sad, we know we are on the right path! Stay in the West. Treasure the lack of affection and attention you get. Keep judging up. We are happy happy.
  17. Highly toxic players like the Ayatollah, does not appear to deserve the oxygen he consumes. See ya! Be gone.
  18. There are so many other factors. The Chinese real estate market is dropping like a brick. Thailand is likely soon to follow. Less cash to spend, flights are more expensive, hotel prices are up, even though occupancy is down. Etc., etc.
  19. PT has done exactly as commanded. Be quiet, obey, go along with the toxic army, and do not make any waves, nor try to move the nation forward. They sure have fallen mightily from their once lofty position.
  20. The danger is coming from you and your banker friends. You should have been arrested and locked up after 2008. Instead you were protected and made an additional fortune. And continue with your toxic proctices. Banksters may be more dangerous than Israel and Hamas.
  21. He finds some really lovely, high functioning women. Sometimes he has to juggle them. Thailand is a great spot for finding a woman, whether she be a civilian, PFP, or in between.
  22. It is very simple. I see something I like, I go the payment page to see what the total is. If they add on anything other than the usual taxes, I simply click back and continue looking. It is a fun mission in life to continually ignore nonsense and scams. We are improving humanity by being diligent and not giving into the creeps.
  23. It is the path of least resistance. And since the administration is fully compromised anyway, should we expect a statement that shows any moral conviction? After all, look at the neighborhood? Cambodia, Burma, Laos, China. Not exactly beacons of ethics of morality.
  24. Thanks have changed alot here. 10 years ago there were still alot of young British punters, from the wrong side of town. Most of them seem to have disappeared. Most older Brits are alright. Many are very decent chaps.
  25. Anywhere. Everywhere. Unlike in the west, I have never encountered a group of women who are easier to approach and engage. All you need is some game, courage, a great sense of humor (the sooner you can make them laugh, the better), and a decent appearance. Helps if you have some bling, or are in good shape financially, or are handsome! The worst you get here is a polite rejection of some sort. Not like the cold and vicious reactions you get in the west from women who would not recognize their own femininity if it bit them on the rump. I have a good friend who's American, single and he gets more action than anybody I've seen in many many years. Granted he does have game, which is required, he's got a good rap he's a decent-looking guy, not great looking, and he will approach anyone. He has just enough bling to impress the girls, he has a business in Bangkok, has a place in Bangkok and another place elsewhere, a nice new truck, and several motorcycles. I think the girls are sometimes impressed with that but the bottom line is that any guy who's decent looking, has a little bit of game and is assertive most importantly, can get all kinds of action in Thailand from pure civilians. Many of them are curious about foreigners and my greatest suggestion is to use humor, if you can get them to laugh and smile within the first 2 minutes of talking to them you have a pretty good shot. If you are involved, do it in person, not online. It is not worth humiliating your woman. And don't listen to the judgments. We do what we need to do in life. That judgment sound is just noise.
