Love me, love me, love me, love me please. Show me the money. Money is my sacred calf. I claim to be a believer and to practice a "faith", but money is really my God, and my lifelong and spiritual quest. No other values really mean anything to me. Morality, ethics and being righteous and fair pale compared to money, gold, condos, new cars, overseas penthouses, and millions stashed overseas in hidden bank accounts. In this way I resemble my idols, men like Prayuth, Prawit, and others.

Most people would likely be astonished. We are likely talking about many hundreds of billions of baht. A real robber baron administration. Prayuth has had a mandate from the beginning to do the very opposite of fighting corruption. Quite the opposite. He is there to protect the elite, the super wealthy, those who are guilty, those that are connected, and those who are in power. Just think Dark Tao. Just think Red Bull. The list goes on, and on, and on. Only the most naive amongst us believe he or ACT secretary-general Mana Nimitmongkol are sincere about this.

If this is proven to be true, Thanakrit, also known as Noi, the uncle of the girl, should be executed within the next 30 days, with no trial, and no chance of appeal. Just sufficient proof, and off he goes. You do not deserve the oxygen you consume, and you are a burden to society, on every level. No need to provide for you, in prison. See ya.

Phuket struggles to attract tourists in 2023 low season
spidermike007 replied to webfact's topic in Phuket News
They must have forgotten, that during covid, we were all getting amazing bargains on hotels. Now? Prices have gone up to the point where they do not seem to reflect the low occupancy rates, or reality. Standard Thai marketing. Ignore supply and demand. -
Phuket struggles to attract tourists in 2023 low season

Why such poor treatment for the heroes of the Russian nation? Fleeing a horrific war, waged by a madman, serial killing dictator, and refusing to slaughter women and children, is something to be very proud of. -
I think with the RTP, it would be safe to presume guilty, until proven innocent. This especially applies to a senior officer. The RTP at it's inception seems to have been created with a status quo from the government. We will NOT pay you a living wage, but you have a franchise, and the limit of your income is based solely on your own creativity and initiative, and you will always be protected. Is that not the case? There is one aspect of this, that always has to be taken into account. I think most Thais get it. But most foreigners do not. The police here own franchises. They are franchisees. They are not law enforcement officials. They rarely engage in law enforcement, traffic safety, or public safety. They are not here for the benefit of the people, and they are not here to keep us safe. They are here to collect. That is all they do. If you need to give them an official title, it would be that of a revenue collection agent. Only it is their own account, that they represent. Nobody will ever touch them. They are protected at the highest levels. They do as they please, and Thailand remains a relatively lawless state. And that is a huge tribute to the Thai people. Despite the relative lack of a deterrent, the vast majority behave themselves and remain civilized.

Are you actually hungry ? Habit or need ?
spidermike007 replied to The Cobra's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
I only eat breakfast if I am hungry, and it is usually very light. I do eat lunch and dinner, but only if I am hungry, and try to limit the quantities I eat. Not always easy here, since I love Thai food and spicy food, and my woman is an incredible chef. However, snacking is the real problem for me. I know I could lose alot of weight if I quit snacking. But, it is so much fun! -
Celebrity son of Thailand’s ‘Mr Clean’ engulfed in crypto scandal
spidermike007 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Anyone called Mr. Clean here, is undoubtedly filthy, corrupt and covering up alot of skeletons in his closet. Reminds me of Big Joke. He is the head of the RTP. Is there any possibility he is clean, and free of corruption? How could the head of one of the most corrupt institutions in the land not be corrupt? -
Incorrect. Thailand has one of the lowest levels of goods moved by freight, in the developing world. I live close to the north/south main rail, and barely ever see a cargo train. If I see one, it has 8 cars. It is both a shame and an abomination. Total neglect. Want to see what a real freight train looks like, just look at the trains in the US, where massive amounts of goods are moved around by rail, thereby freeing up the need for many, many more trucks on the highways.
-
Thailand has spent 70 years avoiding improving their rail system. Only now, are they beginning to wake up. The cost to the nation is horrific. Alot of the traffic congestion on the roads is due to a lack of an alternative cargo transportation system, that could have been addressed by rail, decades ago. Instead the highways are literally choked with trucks of all sizes, hogging the fast lanes, with a complete lack of any sort of deterrent. It is an ugly, sickening, disgusting, and foul situation. It is so much harder to get around, than it needs to be. One administration after another is at fault. Though I dislike Prayuth and his goons immensely, at least they are beginning to deal with this enormous issue.

The most important part of this equation was 42 seats for Prawit and 37 for Cha Cha. It was a huge repudiation for the status quo. The people said no, I don't think so, you guys are dinosaurs, we don't want you, we don't like you you need to disappear off the face of the earth. His election is a truly great thing for this nation and shows that the people are both sick of being led by highly ignorant dinosaurs, with no interest in progress, and interested in smart, young folks, who are serious, accomplished, capable of change, and interested in insuring that Thailand has a good future. Pita is exactly what this nation needs, at this point in time. This is a huge blessing. I am optimistic. I think he will stick to his promises. Go, Pita, go. We are behind you, proud of you and trust in you. You are giving us real hope, for a change Let us hope these greedy, toxic, moronic, backwards, incapable nitwits get the message, and back down. Now, they need to figure out a way to get rid of the corrupt, army appointed senators. ASAP. By whatever means necessary. The youth have prevailed. It is a glorious time in Thailand!
-
Not buying into the pessimism. The people will resist, if this is stolen from them, the army does not have the guts to wage a Burmese style oppression campaign, the families will not allow their sons to slaughter innocent Thais, and all moral authority is gone. Everything has changed. The dinosaur reign is over.

Nice to know these guys are fighting real crime, and keeping the nation safe. LOL. Hope they remember that there are rapists out there, along with government and army officials collecting millions in ill gotten money. And let us not forget about human smuggling, trafficking in underage girls, slavery in the fishing trade, heroin smuggling, and other real crimes. Keep your eyes on the ball, guys.

Social life and dating in Thailand
spidermike007 replied to SomeFarang's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
You have failed to take into account different needs and personalities. Some of my friends consider a relationship a burden. There is no right and wrong here. Some prefer something casual. The speed dating nonsense is only in your head, and is a total projection of your own junk. And don't think for a moment you can only meet (your version of) a quality woman online. I know many men who married great gals that they boldly approached. -
What would a real man have done? Likely been surprised, then said tomorrow I will come back and pack up my things. If it were my house she moved into, I would simply ask her to pack up and be out by the weekend. See ya. No need for alot of drama. You are very obviously not satisfied and you obviously have no respect for me, to do this in our house. So, see you later woman.

Deputy Prime Minister Wissanu Krea-ngam is a total desperado, scared to death of losing power and access to the treasury, as are his army buddies and skanky fellow members of this horrid administration. They would do anything to hang onto power. Including defying the will of the people. What these goons do not seem to understand, is they would do that at their own peril. Everything has changed.

Thailand tourism thrives with 1,200% surge in Klook bookings
spidermike007 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
These kinds of posts are such nonsense. Measuring against last year does not mean much. Of course demand was higher. Not a surprise. They are just numbers, without much meaning. -
What he said was not that outlandish. The fact that he said it on a dating show, and on TV, was silly and ridiculous. If discretion is the better part of valor, what is this guy? Indiscreet does not even begin to describe him. I have never gotten the part about multiple wives, or a mistress. I can understand a man wanting to fool around, occasionally. And I don't think that is a bad thing, as long as it is done very discreetly. But, a mistress is too much work, and too much covering up. Not to mention too expensive. LOL.
