  1. If a single vote cast by one of the filthy army appointed senators is counted, it would not be a democratic vote. Period.
  2. I agree. These are filthy men, who will use any tactic they can, to keep feeding from the golden calf. They must be stopped, if Thailand is to have any sort of meaningful future.
  3. I know I look like a man. I sort of dress like a man. I smell like a man, and I sure eat like a man. So, why don't I behave like a man? That sure is a good question. When I get frustrated I seem to lose my mind, alot. I do not seem capable of reaching within for patience, understanding, or goodwill. And my skin is so thin, it takes very, very little for me to get offended. What on earth is wrong with me? Why have I failed so miserably at being a decent human being?
  4. Anyone but the stegosaurus Prawit. Justin Beiber would be preferable. Anyone. Any warm body, besides that lathargic, incapable louse.
  5. The Thai people need to develop a sense of conviction, and moral outrage. They seem to be very competent at the netizen outrage thing. Where is the action now? Why don't we see 7 million people in the streets? Why don't we see government offices being boycotted? What will it take before these people say ENOUGH! An election appears to have been stolen by hooligans and thieves. The moral rot and degradation is astonishing. Yet, the people accept it? huh?
  6. You are likely correct. The reverence of the elites here is something to behold. And the vast majority of the wealthy Thais I have encountered seem to have very few redeeming qualities. Such a sense of entitlement and a feeling of superiority. Yikes. When will the people get fed up, and make changes happen? This is not 1685!
  7. Weak, pathetic, cowardly, self entitled hooligans, who are accustomed to a perch atop the ivory tower, scared to death of being taken down a notch, and being asked to be accountable for their heinous and unforgivable actions. Of course they will resort to whatever dirty tactics they can. That is who and what they are. Filth. They are the deplorables. This was very poorly phrased. This has nothing to do with hearts. Quite the opposite. This is about money grubbing lowlifes, trying to use their illegitimate positions, to deny the will of the people, steal an election, move the nation backwards, and deny any kind of change or reform. This is a toxic power grab. These senators deserve a lifetime of pain and suffering. One can only hope the people will be bold enough to inflict that upon them.
  8. Perhaps that is a start. The wife would likely not care, as she knows she is married to a serpent anyway. But, the kids, the family, that might be embarrassing.
  9. Yes. I thought about that. What if not a single Thai showed up for work for a week after the election results? Imagine the impact that might have had? I realize the people who can least afford to lose their jobs, represent a majority. But, it does take guts to change the future of your nation.
  10. Absolutely. This is serious stuff. Let them know the extent to which they have crossed the line. When their kids come home crying, and their wives complain of being badly treated, it just might hit home. Time to defect. Nobody gets a pass. You defy the will of the people at your own peril!
  11. Great stuff. Astonishing how many of these men and women look positively evil. Dark, scandalous, slippery and foul. They are a highly offensive lot and all need to be punished. Power to the people. Make their lives a living hell.
  12. Thank you. Alot of soft folks here willing to give these senators a pass. They need to be eliminated, no matter how.
  13. They are members of super corrupt families. They benefit on countless levels. No, the entire family should be shamed. It just might embarrass dad into submission. If the senators are not entirely shameless. They just might be beyond shame.
  14. Absolutely. The defamation laws were written by sold out cowards, to protect rotten players from reprisals, due to bad service, faulty products and bad business. They have no place in today's world. They represent a heinous over reach of toxic power. Thailand deserves whatever comes its way as a result of this. Those insane and cowardly defamation laws have been around way too long. They were written and passed by sold out politicians, for men who sell inferior products, offer inferior services, and steal alot of money. And do not intend to be answerable to anyone. Perhaps some of that will change. For those of us who have been here a awhile, we know that positive change only happens here through utter embarrassment, humiliation, and a loss of face. It never happens because it is the right thing to do, or due to fairness or equity. So, it must be thrust upon them, such as in this incident. The lack of vision prevents them from seeing it coming. Egg on the face can be a cure for many diseases and weaknesses. Call out the goombahs, and laugh in their faces when they make their inevitable threats!
  15. Not doing so, more or less puts Thailand in the category of the hermit kingdom, China, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Iran, and the most repressed and undemocratic nations on earth. Does it not? There are perilous times. Get it right, or set yourselves back decades.
  16. Hah! Perhaps this is the beginning of the end of the gravy train. Let us hope Thai society has the courage and moral conviction to hold these criminals responsible.
  17. Not our fault. We are not responsible. Nothing we do can will harm the earth. It is just too big for us to hurt it. The seas, the air, and the atmosphere are not vulnerable. Profit is too important to let it get in the way of progress. And besides, since we have multiple alternative planets to move to, should things get really bad, so not much to worry ourselves about. We are not responsible! Stop blaming us! We are noble and innocent? So are the corporations!
  18. I have no issue with the use of the death penalty, as long as the evidence is iron clad, or there are multiple witnesses. However, it should be applied evenly. If it is applied to a foreigner, and not the locals, one could accuse the authorities of a rather xenophobic use of the law, considering how rarely it has been applied. Theerasak Longji, 26, was executed by lethal injection at Bang Kwang Central Prison north of Bangkok in June of 2018. He was found guilty of murdering a 17-year-old boy in 2012, the department said. He was the seventh person to be executed by lethal injection since Thailand introduced the method in 2003 to replace execution by firing squad. Before Monday, the last people executed were two Thai drug dealers in 2009. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-thailand-prison-execution-idUSKBN1JF0G1
  19. Excellent idea. Publish a list of their names, that of their spouses, mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers and children (no, they are NOT off limits). Punish them all by association, and shame and humiliate the heathen senators into submission. Inflict as much pain onto them as possible, and make their lives a living hell. This is a very serious situation, and should be treated as such. Anything it takes. There is no shame in fighting filthy people with dirty tactics.
  20. So sorry to hear your wife feels that way. She sounds highly conventional in her thinking.
  21. Maybe the "tourism sector" should discuss this with the super corrupt senators, and kindly explain to them that they are traitors to the nation, they are causing great problems, setting the nation back and need to go now. And their health and safety is at risk.
  22. Absolutely. Totally. They are reaping the rewards of a corrupt man. The private schools, the chauffeurs, the fancy clothes. Yes. Without a doubt. The entire family should be made to pay for the sins of the father. How else will anything ever change? Drastic action is needed now. Shame the creeps into submission. Call them out wherever they go.
  23. As stated in a related post I am glad Pita is calling out these guys. He is absolutely correct. But, the people might need to take charge now. These senators need to be declared enemies of the state. They are essentially committing treason, at this point. A list of their names and photos needs to be circulated. The people need to call them and their children, siblings, and parents out at work, at school, at restaurants, and in public. Shame them into submission. Make their lives, and those of their family, utterly miserable. Embarrass them to no end. Make them conscious of the incredible amount of damage and erosion to democracy they are causing, and let Cha Cha know we are not buying his "I will be cooperative, and honor the results" nonsense. If these illigitimate clowns don't act like adults and cooperate, all bets are off. Their health, safety and welfare could be in jeopardy. The people will not tolerate it. It is time for the people to declare war on these senators, who are being hugely irresponsible by honoring the wish of the army to continue milking the nation. Let the people make the decisions, not highly corrupt, totally compromised men who have sold their soul to the heinous, toxic army.
  24. This would be an utter disaster for the nation. He is such a bottom of the barrel type. This guy is toxic, corrosive, corrupt, ineffective, incompetent, untrustworthy, very bad for the nation, and virtually assures a rotten future for the nation, a drop to 75th place in GDP, and increasing irrelevance. They have already turned Thailand from the tiger of SE Asia, to a sorry, rabid, whiny, anemic alley cat. And lastly, this would result in massive protests and a huge slowdown of the economy. Nobody needs another army dropout to make a feeble attempt to run the nation, without one nanogram of leadership ability.
  25. You are likely right. But, I am hoping they simply can't fathom how much things have changed, and how little tolerance the masses have for their nonsense, anymore. And that they have completely misguaged the cost of their chicanery, and attempted theft of the election, this time. I hope the cost is extremely high, for the goons. Ruined lives, is my dream.
