What a lot of his supporters don't seem to realize is that the US simply could not function without Canada, Mexico and China. It would cease to exist as a nation and a functioning economy. But simple-minded slogans seem to be very popular these days.

Well, the fascinating thing about discussions is that one hopes that they will be two-sided which means that issues can be discussed in an open manner. I barely see any Trump supporters criticizing anything he's doing, that doesn't seem normal to me. Is Kellogg the only one objecting to some of his nonsensical policies and positions?

Can you please explain to me how that function works? I have a few people I would like to use that with. Can't seem to get it to work.

The smart question is has he actually spent more time in the Oval Office then he has on the golf course during this second term? I seriously doubt it
-
Correct, his polls are dropping significantly and I totally understand that. People are starting to realize who this guy is, he's not the guy they think they voted for.

The thread is about Mr. Loony tunes, the most insane and unhinged president in history.

Most of Canada's fentanyl is coming from the US, via Mexico and South America, and China not the other way around. It would help if you studied the issue a little bit before posting about it. Reading is so beneficial. In regard to the hatred towards Trump I totally understand that, I don't know why there's not more hatred. I don't know why more people aren't doing things to stop this total madman. He is very, very dangerous. You will see that eventually.

Trump just dishonored his country in a major way by firing four-star general Brown, a man with thousands of hours of experience as a fighter pilot, a man with nothing but honors and decorations during his entire career and only the second black man to ever serve as a four-star general. He also fired the two highest ranking women in the armed forces showing his misogyny in addition to his racism. Trump is really starting to show his true colors and the degree of racism and hatred that the man holds deep in his heart, and can't seem to shake. On a certain level my heart goes out to him as it must be very difficult to live inside his head on a daily basis, very painful.

Truth, integrity and honor in politics? I don't see much of that here, and I don't see much of that anywhere in the world right now, especially in America.

This is not surprising at all, if the supporters of Trump realized the extent of the corruption and the moral decay of both Trump and Musk, they would be utterly appalled and my guess is that within a year or two they will begin to realize just who they supported. I do have some friends that will come right out and say the man is a butthead, he's an idiot, and he's an absolute clown, but I like his policies. Those are the Republicans I admire. I'm a Democrat but during the Obama presidency and the Biden presidency I was very willing to criticize some of their very ignorant policies. Very, very few Republicans seem to be willing to engage in that sort of intelligent banter. Only fealty, with absolutely no criticism allowed, it would appear. With many people, once they got attached to a theory, it was hard to get them detached. They’d screen out unhelpful facts, invent favorable ones, and ignore contradictions in their own claims. Look at those Sandy Hook, multiple fraud convictions, and Jan. 6th truthers, babbling about false flags and crisis actors and all the rest. When people were motivated enough to believe something, they were going to believe it no matter what. There was no such thing as a bridge too far.

Based on his extreme lack of charity, he appears to be the stingiest and least charitable person in the history of mankind, if you take into account his vast wealth. For him to be stiffing one of his children is nothing short of an abomination, and it's truly representative of the man that he really is. And the extent to which he has decimated the agencies that help very poor people in a great deal of need shows how little heart and soul this tiny man has.

If these allegations are proven to be true Prasert Klinbancheun, the abbot of Nong Chaeng temple in Suphan Buri should be executed within 30 days. The clergy in any country should be held to a higher standard than the average person, people look up to them, people trust them, and they're put in positions of great authority, especially a high-ranking person like an abbot. A different standard should be applied, a far stricter with a far harsher standard. The death penalty sounds like it would be appropriate for a man like this and it should be carried out quickly without the possibility of appeal.

Thailand desperately wants tourism, but does not seem to care about the consequences of the numbers, or the quality of tourists. It's all about jacking those numbers up to the highest level possible. When you do that you have to pay for it, and if you're too cheap to be willing to pay for the correct systems, the correct procedures, the correct software, and the correct experts you're going to pay a price for that negligence and oversight.

Trump does not like pushback. He prefers absolute fealty and total obedience. He is not getting that. So, he is a petulant, angry child.

Britain’s Leadership Crisis at a Time of Global Peril
spidermike007 replied to Social Media's topic in World News
I think the same can be said about the US, and America's leadership crisis at a time of global peril. Donald Trump is making the world an infinitely more dangerous place. Time will bear that out. He is not a man of peace he is a man of hatred, discord, irrationality, and venom. -
12-Year-Old in Critical Condition After Vaping for Two Years

My guess is that a lot of grandparents don't really want to take on this responsibility, but Thai society somehow does not give them the ability to say NO! This is your child you deal with them! Instead they end up engaging in a form of martyrdom in their golden years. Especially in Issan, where the absentee mother issue is rampant. -
These days I will only drive into Bangkok if it's after 10:00 p.m. And I will only leave Bangkok prior to 5:30 a.m. That's how bad I found traffic to be on Rama II, getting in and out of Bangkok. I just will not take a chance of being in traffic for 2 hours or more to go 10 or 15 km, which has happened to me on multiple occasions. I do consider the lack of high-speed transport options to be an abomination, and highly representative of the level of sloth that Thailand has experienced on a governmental level for the past 30 or 40 years.

Trump Shrugs Off Potential EU Ban on U.S. Food Imports
spidermike007 replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Trump is an absolutely horrific negotiator, and one can see that fully on display now. When you give away the talking points of a negotiation prior to sitting down at the table you have failed. There is a 0% chance of success once you do that, and any decent negotiator knows that. The man could negotiate his way out of a paper bag to save his own life. The United States is now dependent upon this creep for to defend itself. Prior to the election all of his supporters knew that he adored dictators and despots and he had a lack of affection for democratically elected leaders, but did anybody guess that it would be this bad, so soon? Trump is a clear and present danger to the security of both the United States and the Free World and he must be stopped. The Senators and Congress members of his own party and the Democratic party must stand up and defend freedom and rational thinking, against this insane goon. -
Well the highway patrol certainly appreciates your willingness to do free PR for them, but the bottom line is that the only time I've ever seen highway patrol cars on the highway, is if they are approaching an accident site, and that applies to decades of highway driving here. In 20 years I've never seen anybody get pulled over for reckless driving. And worldwide that is one of the primary functions of the highway patrol. But not here. Ever.

Trump Joins the Axis. NATO Dead. WW111 Imminent?
spidermike007 replied to Old Croc's topic in Political Soapbox
That is a load of misinformation, typically any nation during wartime will not be capable of conducting elections, so if he's unelected that is the fault of the serial killing, genocidal madman Vladimir Putin. -

See my response below. It is utterly shameful for a parent to leave their child with the grandparents for extended periods of time, and it's a sign of some sort of breakdown of contemporary society when this happens. -
I completely agree with that, and I find that embarrassment and shame is one of the truly great motivators in Thailand. When I'm looking to get any kind of service or achieve some customer service I will oftentimes be forced to resort to those tactics, and most of the time it works. Nothing like massive amounts of egg on the face for someone who's absolutely obsessed with shameful and useless practice of saving face.
