They want to see those who have been vaccinated being allowed to come under two plans that are about to be proposed.
The first is called "Quarantine At Home".
The second plan is called Mobile Quarantine
------------------------------------------------------------------------
With other words and as usual, they do not have a clue - neither about what to do nor the difference between theory and practice ... ????
In any case it will end up here too that you will accept vaccination passport - not unlike the rest of the world - so no need to try to reinvent the wheel in this matter ...

BTW, I think it's worth noting re the current situation:
AFAIK, the government's Thai Deposit Protection Agency and its supporting law -- designed to protect Thai bank depositors from losing their funds in the event a bank fails similar to the U.S. FDIC -- does NOT protect their deposits against financial fraud/crime by other parties including bank employees.
http://www.dpa.or.th/site/index
PS - The DPA used to have a quite good EN version of their website. But right now for some reason, I can only find/see an entirely TH version.
If I remember correct it cover only 1m tbh per customer (not per account) so if the bank file for bankruptcy and you have 10m in the bank only 1m will be refunded - with other words to be safe you must split your 10m over 10 different banks.
Anyway, this particular situation is different and will not be covered by the bankruptcy fond. Here one is probably dependent on the bank itself wanting to take a responsibility - in whole or in part, but I doubt it ...

Seems this is only half true, according to one of the arrested party people I just asked personally:
"According to Sky News, those in attendance at the bar were each fined 4,000 bahtand given a one month prison sentence, suspended for one year."
4,000 baht fine is confirmed, but no prison sentence for them.
My contact didn't know about the verdict for the bar owner and party organiser because of not speaking Thai.If so, not any surprise. Prison in LOS seems to be dedicated mainly for the poor people ...

there was a Brit who killed a guy in mai Kao last year in a Benz. Another one also in a Benz in Chiang mai or rai a few years back. If you google in Thai you will find over 50 examples of foreigners killing Thais on the road because of speeding, drunk or both.
To my knowledge they always buy themselves out of jail.

I live in a small village in the the mountains in the north of Thailand .Both my wife and I are farang.
The first winter we were here they (local govt reps) showed up with free new blankets for us . I politely ask them to give them to another family as we had enough already. Last year at the begining of the covid thing two guys from local govt showed up with syringes and a chilly bin full of vaccine vials. I was a bit freaked out until I realised it was rabies vaccine for any pets . At the time we had none. They didn't mention anything about money so I cant say whether it was free or not but that was the impression I had. Two years ago i had a Kidney stone episode went to the local hospital threw up all over the bed in the day room they put me . Was x rayed had a doctors consult and given the option of either Diclofenac or an opiate based pain killer. Because of my age they recommended the opiate based pain killer but because I have no compromised liver or kidney function took the diclofenac injection. My brother and his son are both doctors in Canada and this was spot on medical procedure according to them. (wasn't my first time with a kidney stone so i knew the drill) The bill was less than 500 baht
This is my 37th winter in Thailand.. reading the Thai visa posts from members I sometime wonder if I live in another country...my experience of thai people bears no relation to what i read here

i am not anti-vaccin by the fact, but you miss totally the point.
And your only one argument is based on a kind of "trail of intention" about a suspected "conspiracy crowd" that i'm not speaking about (never). I'm more thinking about situation who becomes profitable for opportunist profiles at very top level of the economy (world wide) and which are well known to be. It is not a conspiracy.
Let me explain to you by an 2 analogy example (i do like that with children under 12 years old):
1/ If tomorrow a big supermarket is exposed to fire and people around are coming to stole inside, they are not conspiracionists, no one make the fire to then, stole anything... but opportunist can serve themself. Will you push the one who said: "look here is thieves who are profiting this situation ! " to be also a conspiracionsit ? I hope not... it is the same here.
2/ There is a business, but this business is not for sale 10 Kg of bananas, but thousand of tonnes of pesticides... The company who product chemicals pesticides decide to paid a company to increase a "communication" (who is adds) to say that there own pesticide are good for anything without any wrong second side effect on anything (sure). Will you tell to the people who said: "They are communicate fakes and don't know anything if not lie" that they are conspiracionsits too ?
Seriously, you are not understanding the situation and what we are talking about.
So if one day you will be able to think without binary process, and without compress any ideas, you would probably be able to understand my arguments and would also be able to no more practice the "trail of intention" process who is not honest (and much more a disrespect, not only to myself, but wider to the word: "intelligence" for human been).
But ok... you do what you can, i do understand and this is so easy to let you be in fear panic mode by compress any ideas this way you've done.
Also, as you can read, you expose yourself to an answer showing that your process is wrong and based on impressive (hope you will bear it), look:
based on overreacting because binary and shrinking everything to the point that it is incredibly messy for your interlocutors. Reflection therefore becomes minimalist when thought is binary, narrow, with silly accusations and shortened fishtail trials of intentions. Pity...
???? why "wounded ego" came to my mind ...?...
AnyWay and BTW - Happy New Year ...
