They may have flights later this month and certainly next month. Get your name on the waiting list to for flight by starting the application process for a certificate of entry at the Thai embassy.
From the Thai Embassy, London.
This makes the timeline very difficult.
Dear Sir/Madam,
please get repatriation flight first then you can send your documents for COE and visaKind Regards,

Another option...if blocked ...is I guess...just to cut it out.
You remove the cat and break out the melted honeycomb. Although, this will not fix the original problem.

Could you elaborate on what was in the document pack? My school is clueless.

We got a queue ticket, sat down and waited for just over an hour. When we were called up, my wife went first.
Can the passport and documents be sent by post (after they have been uploaded)?

I noticed a login at the top of the page.
Do you have to book through the site or can you contact the hotels directly?

At some point after the initial application, if a seat on a repatriation flight becomes available the Embassy notify you that your CoE has been approved. You are offered a repatriation flight (or choice of flights).
You pay for the flight and receive conformation, at the same time you book your ASQ Hotel.

I have just got this from the London Embassy. I asked (again) what documents i need from my employer for a Non B application and CoE application.
Looks like they want you to book a flight before submitting a COE application. Crazy!

The latest email from the Thai Embassy UK.
Dear Sir/Madam,
**Please note that the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand has announced the extension of travel ban of commercial flights to Thailand until further notice.**
We can not issue your certificate of entry until you have repatriation flight book.

You're still in the UK? They're trying to get you clearance to enter Thailand?
Yes. I have contacted the Embassy many times and only get generic replies.

You have paid for the flight and now you have to hope that there are ASQ hotels in your price range?
I remember reading that not all are refundable, is the flight?

I don’t think we get to decide ‘what dates’ go on the certificate.;
Other medical facilities will present their certificate with the Test Date and the Certificate issue date.
See below.
I flew on the 19th, with a Certificate issued on the 18th, with a test date clearly marked on the 16th.
Had I taken the test on the 15th and had the Certificate issued on the 17th I’d be taking a huge gamble as to whether or not I would be permitted boarding at Check-in. All it takes is one ‘officious check in staff’ to recognise the Certificate issue date is different and we could be ‘bumped’ from a flight we’ve just paid a lot of money for and a process we do not wish to have to go through again.
The best option is to get it 100% right the first time with no room for any ambiguity.
The name is spelled differently at the bottom left; Dr Rupa and Dr Krupa.

Well the 3 August UK repat flights were fully booked within 24 hours. System was changed so foreigners could book, including economy, but priority will be given to Thais. 3000 are supposed to have registered for the 3 July flights.
Where did you get this info? Have you got a link?

As we discussed taps and things the other day, what are the best quality brands for door knobs and deadlocks?
I was looking at Yale, but i see Hafele and Solex.

If it is tapered, it shouldn't really screw all the way home. Screw it in firmly with PTFE.

Are the plastic doors good? I have seen quite a few with the screws pulled out of the plastic frame and the door falling off.

I have a job offer and the school has informed me that they are in the process of giving my details to the Ministry of Education. The MoE will then contact the Ministry of Foreign Affairs who will then contact the Thai Embassy in the UK. This has been going on for about 6 weeks and nothing seems to be happening. I will be very surprised if these departments mange to communicate with each other.
