  1. First I thought there might be a misunderstanding or a wrong translation - so, I went to look for the Thai source.
    The translation is really correct.
First Prayuth said that the fugitives are not Thai.
And after that he says he wants to get them extradited to Thailand.

Stupidity has a name in Thailand: "Prayuth"

  2. I have called to the DTAC help line - several times - in total for 30 minutes.
Each time you call you are put on hold for 10 minutes and you pay for listening to their music.
The problem is within DTAC - I am already waiting for one and a half month for them to move the money between their internal accounts.

  3. It's not a lot of money. In fact, I have lost more money on trying to fix the problem than what's on the bill.
I am considering swallowing the principle, as you said, and pay the bill one more time, but not without making a big fuss about it.

They will probably not allow me to change to another provider if the bills are not fully paid.
But in the end I'll switch anyway. Too bad because we've been a customer for 10 years.
We absolutely want to keep our old telephone number. That's possible right - keep your old number and switch?

Anyway - customers of DTAC that pay via online banking - be warned.

The people in central festival Pattaya said me that the same thing happened to many people that pay at 7-11.

The cashier chooses DTAC instead of Trinet and then the mess starts.

  4. DTAC informed us that we needed to get a new SIM.
It would have no consequences, it would just be a technical thing.

Everything looked fine, until we got our Trinet bill, dated 2/4/58
I want to warn all of you that if you pay a Trinet bill, via online banking, you need to notice that the company name changed - It's not DTAC anymore.
DTAC and Trinet don't use the same account.
I didn't notice this, so I filled in DTAC in the online banking system (also because the header of the bill still says DTAC).

The same day I called to DTAC to tell them about my mistake.
They said it's no problem and would transfer the money from DTAC to Trinet.

Since then our telephone line gets cut regularly because the bill in the Trinet system says : not paid.
I went to the service center in Sri Racha twice, but the just refuse to help - they say I have to call to the DTAC callcenter.

Then I went to the service center in Central Pattaya festival twice, which is 50 kms driving each time.
They say they will solve the problem, they open our line, but the service gets cut again after a few days.
They printed a receipt for me to prove I had paid.

So, yesterday I went the service center in Sri Racha again, after the line being cut off again. I was very angry.
This time they opened the service again (probably because I was extremely angry), but only for 7 days.

    I am desperate.
Did anyone have the same problem?
Did you manage to get if fixed?
I have lost several days on this and a lot of money.

I don't know what to do.

  5. Thank you. I just went there. I'll add a bit extra information for other people that might consider getting implants.

The price in Phyathai Sriracha has gone up to 50000B all in which is still reasonable.
They use (Korean) Osttem implants which are about the cheapest on the market, but that doesn't necessarily mean they are less good.
Prices of Osstem implants start at 35000B in other smaller clinics (all in), so 40000 in a real hospital is a really good price, 50000 seems acceptable.

One of the clinics which calls themselves "thedentistclinic" on Siam square seems to have the cheapest, price, until I told them on the phone I was a farang - then the price went up a lot.

They told me they use double pricing,

  6. I saw that the price of an implant very much depends on the brand of the implant and not so much on the clinic.

Prices go from 35000 to 100000 per tooth.

    That's a big difference.

40000 is not expensive The prices have probably gone up. I'll check it out. Thank you.

My last one was done there just a month or two ago.

Do you remember the name of your doctor? Thank you again.

  7. I wonder if the speed was the reason of the accident or not respecting the traffic rules (by the motorcycle).
PS. I had an accident with a motorcycle which I hit at 80 kms per hour without breaking.
My car didn't look much different from this. Luckily the guy was not a police officer and he also admitted he crossed the red light. My first thought was that the guy was dead. But he survived with only a few broken bones.

  8. If other monks than watthammagaay would be protesting, I would support it.

But Watthammagaay is one of the most controversial and rich Buddhist organisations in Thailand and a cleanup would be more than welcome.

I do however support the right on freedom of speech and I think they should have the right to protest (I am against the martial law),

just like the government should have the right to cleanup corrupt organisations.

  9. Somsak is extreme (within the Thai context) but I think all opinions should be heard.
I agree with many of his view.
One thing I don't agree with is the approach he takes for getting to his goal.
I think he made too many personal sacrifices.

I follow him on facebook (since several months) and so do 140000 Thais.
    It's a loss for Thailand.
