Mon 3 Kansas City vs. San Francisco (L) 0630-1000 TS HD/NFL Network
Note
Venue: Hard Rock Stadium, Miami Gardens, Florida
Half Time Show: Live concert of Shakira & Jenifer Lope
That"s it until next year but, after 22 years and the death of my wife (only 50), I heading back to the US for good in June due to ongoing health problems so you'll have to get somebody else to post the schedule next year. I will be able to get them all including the college games and and all of the bowl games.

I pay all of my bills on line except electric. In over 22 years I have never had a problem. The only bills that I don't pay online is water a electric. There is not a online payment channel for PEA only MEA, but I haven't checked recently. I pay my water in cash to the lady on the motorbike who reads the meter, but I am the last house on a dirt road in the middle of the boonies.

I assume this issue is limited to Tesco-Lotus because they simply don't have the facilitys to type anything into their system manually.
It happened to me several times that they were not able to accept a bill payment because the barcode on the bill was not readable by their scanner. They explained to me, that they where not able to type in the barcode number manually because their system simply does not support that kind of input.
If they can't type the bar-code in off of the bill, it's not an equipment problem it their software. If the scanner won't read the bar-code off of a product you are buying, they type it in with no problem. When I tried to pay my bill in cash after buying over 5000 baht of groceries on my debit card they said no. They asked for identification including my passport, i Gave it to them. They tried and told me that it would not work and asked for an ID with a "chip" in it. I tried to give them my debit card which has a "chip" in it but they said no. They called a manager biut couldn't find one so I left and paid it with no problem at Big C Market accross the street.

Can you tell more about this? Where do you get them and what other is in the 5 in one shot?
I do remember my two dogs has been as puppy two shots and one dog get one extra one year later.
Vet said, other dog doesn't need one.
That was the one(or two) time puppy shot, they don't get the yearly vaccine.
Anyway, I have 4 dogs now and I want to inject the other two 'new' dogs too (grown up pups from one of mine).
And if the shot you are talking about sounds good, will give it to all of them.
The 5 in 1 shot is a vaccine for Canine Distemper, Adenovirus, Hepatitis, Parvovirus, and Parainfluenza. Rabies is a separate vaccine. I live in the real boonies and I buy mine at the local pharmacy for 145 bat. They also have the rabies shot, both kept refrigerated. They are also available for the local "vet nurses" shop about 40 kilometers away at about the same price. The rabies are also available from the Thai animal control, I don't remember the real name, they have an office in the same town and actually set up a rabies inoculation clinic one day a year at a local village where they inoculate the dog for you. You should also get worming pills at the same time, cheap. My dogs get booster 5 in 1 shots every year along with rabies. If you go to a vet they tend to drag out the inoculations for the five diseases into separate shots a week apart which also drags down your bank account.

I expect that they want you to return to insure that the 800k has remained in your bank account for the three months after the extension per the new requirements and they are further requiring that you submit an "official" bank statement and not just your bankbook as proof. Some offices are making it harder and harder to remain stay here.

Thank you guys for the info on Parvo. I was completely clueless about this. Also very naive because I thought the father in law would vaccinate the dogs. Lesson leant, when I am next there I will ensure that the remaining dog is fully covered as will any future dogs they get. I will not take the risk of my dog catching something whilst she is there.
Don't forget the rabies too and if young worm pill.!

It could be parvo and it could be poisoning. If the neighbors have chickens and the dogs tend to chase them I would bet on poisoning. The symptoms of both are nearly the same, diarrhea, vomiting, won't eat and eventually death. Make sure you dog has up to date parvo shots, I pay 145 baht for the 5 in one shot easily administer just under the skin on the back of the neck.

The lady at Tesco yesterday said that it had to be an ID that had the chip in it. They wouldn't accept anything else including passport or DL. I went across the streeet to a Big-C market and had no problems.
My Bangkok Bank ATM stopped working. I haven't used it for a while but none of the ATM s would accept it today. There's been a message on the ATM for months about getting a new card but it was in Thai so I ignored it. Off to BBL tomorrow to see if what the problem is as I have plenty of money in the account and internet banking still works, I think!

You must have a very high tolerance for stupidity.
Yep especially if you don't speak Thai. And anything that they tell you won't mean anyting as they don't have a clue just like everybody else. They're just following orders to keep their jobs.. Maybe they should apply for a job as a US republican senator.

But most airlines (I know ThaiSmile and AirAsia for sure), have counter payment option--7-11, Tesco, Big-C or wherever.
I am talking international airlines with advanced reservations to get significant discounts and not living anywhere near swampy.

I am going to use Thai logic! Why not build the solar panel field in the shape of a low pyramid? Then all of the excess sun will run off and they will have more sunlight in the surrounding fields helping the plants.

I can't say specific to Tesco, but for most transactions there is a work around for entering a passport number or Foriegner ID card number.
However staff sometimes don't know how.
"Cannot" is the default response in Thailand to anything someone does not know how to do, or does not feel like doing. Next time politely but firmly ask for a supervisor.
I tried to pay my electric bill at Tesco yesterday. I bought over 5000 baht worth of groceries and then got the bill out of my pocket and cash. They said that they needed ID and she showed me her Thai ID card. I told her "no hab" then she said passport. So I got my wallet size passport card out annd she said "not real" need big one. After talking to her and one other they called the manager but before they could find him/her I walked out mumbling. As far as Big C and 7-11. there's a Big-C market directly across the street from Tesco and I paid it there with no ID. Cash I one hand and Bill in the other in your name after you just bought 5000 baht of groceries with no ID is totally ridiculous. If it had happened before I bought the groceries I would have dumped my 4 reusable bags full of groceries on the counter and walked out. Ever thried to use cash to but an airline ticket, almost impossible if you live in the boonies where ther isn't any travel agents. All of the sites only have credit card payment channels but no interne bank transfers.

I make egg yoke ravioli using this recipe: https://www.tastemade.com/videos/egg-yolk-ravioli. I use cottage cheese instead of the ricotta and do't cook it too long as you want the egg yoke runny. I serve it with a brown butter sauce.
I also use a stuffing of 1/2 groung prok, 1/2 ground shrimp. alittle grated carrots and a shot of soy sauce.

I think that is why there are so many guards walking around Makro car park.
The macro where I shop has one entrance/exit to the parking lot and the guard shack is manned issuing a card on entry and collecting it on departure.

The Tesco, Big-C and 7-11 near me no longer have plastic bags at checkout but still use them for meat and vegetables. Tesco and Big C sell reusable bags at checkout, 39 baht was the cheapest I have found. The 7-11 have plastic bags hidden in a drawer under the counter. If you "pitch a fit" and have a lot of things, they bag your purchases using them.
Time for the guard shacks to open back up at the entrances to Tesco and Big C parking lots. I actually saw a family lifting a full grocery trollry into the back of their truck.

I found a used JD L100 baler in the US for $28,900. By the time you bought it , had it disassembled and containerized, shipped it, paid duties and takes and imported it and had the container delivered to your site the cost would be about 1.3 million baht. When you o[pend the container you would have to unload it a nd put the multiple piece erector set back together without instructions. Been there, done that with three JD combines.

Another plus with an inverter unit is that they are "soft-start", there's no big surge of current when the compressor starts.
This means less flickering of your lights and (important for some) if you have a generator you will need a smaller one (or you can run a bigger aircon).
One disadvantage with inverter anything is that they are very expensive to repair and seem to more susceptible to crapy power like I have here. Seems like it always the motherboard and the repair guys don't repair it they replace it and it's expensive.

I use Bangkok Bank and got the letter from a branch near Immigration, not the branch that I use. Cost me 100 baht.
If you are doing the monthly deposit method, the statement has to be applied for at your branch and takes 3-5 days to get because it has to come from Bangkok. Cost 200 baht, and you will also need the letter showing the balance, cost 100 baht.

Iran is now claiming that they did not shoot the airplane down and have already bulldozed the debris field which would have been the primary starting point for the crash inspectors. Hopefully they have salvaged the parts. As they, and the body parts, will be the evidence to determine if the plane was hit by a missile. The flight data
recorder will only show either a total stop in the recording or the action of the monitored inputs after the incident occurred and will not determine that a missile hit the aircraft. Most likely the cockpit voice recorder will not have any determining information.

The 737 is one of if not the plane with the best safety record in modern history. It pretty much takes a missile to take it down. The max on the other hand not so much.
I actually crash landed one twice in the same day. Thankfully it was in the Boeing simulator in Washington.

It's funny that it happened the same day, January 15th, as Bangkok Bank stopped honoring the old ATM cards and you had to get a new one with a "chip".
