Beginning to understand Global Warming deniers. The Sphere was completed in 2023. The photo shown is clearly marked at 2013. You do the math. 🤣

Odd behavior at a theater.
Portraits use to be hung in almost all Thai houses. Now very few. Following the trend of the movie goers.

What are you having for Dinner tonight?
On top of the new potatoes that are in the stew? Long slow cook on those so creamy. Sourdough buttered up with both the salad and the stew all the way.

What are you having for Dinner tonight?
Rustic pork stew, been cooking slowly since 11am. Pork butt, pearl onions, baby potatoes, green beans and carrots. Nice crusty loaf of sourdough and a green salad to go with it. Looks like lots of leftovers to freeze up.

How hard for Thai Citizen to visit U.S.A just for a short holiday?
How so you get that from what was posted? Job, some finances, and a reason to return =visa. Many Thai women meet this criteria, some dont. Simple.

How hard for Thai Citizen to visit U.S.A just for a short holiday?
Easy if she has a job and assets here in Thailand that she would have to return for. Otherwise not that easy. She would have to be interviewed in order to grant the visa.

Which cities in Isaan are the most English friendly?
Big Bird, you are correct in saying Isaan is a language, sorry about that. Not often are you right about Thailand, but in this case spot on.
-
Which cities in Isaan are the most English friendly?
Every native of Isaan speaks Issan its that simple. They themselves are proud to have their own language as well. Better wake up and realize this is a fact as has been pointed out to you by several posters. I take the OP to be quite young, I would recommend he come for a nice holiday, survey Isaan, the north and the south and see what area he feels most comfortable in. Its not going to be what he expects for sure as he thinks its like rural America something that it is surely not.

Affordable G10/Y11 Thai private/international school for my 15 year old daughter below 250K baht/annual
My kids went there and graduated 8 years ago. At that time it was about 700,000 per year so its well up on that. Being a British school she would be entering at the IGCSE years and moving to A levels. Just checked over 900,000 baht per year for your daughters grade level.

what you do with your house when you are away in thailand?
Did you read the OP? His house is in Europe and he is worried about leaving it in the winter..

Why do people on here call Thailand the land of smiles?
Why did you ask? You seem to have made up your mind. Do you have any contact with real Thai culture? The kind that has nothing to do with tourism or bars or restaurants?

Why do people on here call Thailand the land of smiles?
Here you go BigBird, https://impactgrouphr.com/individualpost/thailand-the-land-of-the-smiles/ Here are the first five. Yim thang nam taa: The “I’m so happy I’m crying” smile. Yim thak thaai: The “polite” smile for someone you barely know. Yim cheun chom: The “I admire you” or “I’m proud of you” smile. Fuen Yim: The stiff smile, also known as the “I should laugh at the joke even though it’s not funny” smile. Yim mee lessanai: The smile which masks something wicked, such as bad intent.

Thai universities shine in Times Higher Education World Rankings 2024
I was speaking to the poster Celcius who was saying how expensive Mahidol is. I made no comment at all about its ranking or scholastic virtues.

Thai universities shine in Times Higher Education World Rankings 2024
You are thinking of their international college not the Thai Government university. MUIC, Mahidol university international college.
