I have lived in Thailand for 15 years, have used the Combo method every time , first in BKK for 5 years then 10 years in Pattaya, Jomtien Immigration I am Australian so can not get an letter from the Australian Embassy, I have money in the Thai bank and money deposited each 28 days into my Thai bank that make up to over 800,000 Baht for the year, Centerlink in Australia arranged to deposit my pension direct into my Thai bank , Kasikornbank, I get a statement from the Kasikornbank, for the full 12 months that show all deposits, and the money in the bank , must have two letters from the bank , one for the deposits and one for the money in the bank, never had a problem, never used an agent ever always do it myself, so easy, ,, this is only my experience at Jomtien Chon Buri only may not work at all Immigration places. if any one wants to contact me they can I maybe able to help. OP may not be able to use this method as he may not have the income and money in the bank long enough,

Some very stupid comments about this , the dog was bored it has nothing to do with my age, I can and do take care of the dog very well I am a very fit healthy 84 year old, it is not me it is dog I am worried about, the dog is now back with the lady that gave it to me, they have another dog the same type and 4 kids and the dog is now very happy and well looked after and comes back to say hello to me two or three times a week.

I have lived in Thailand for 15 years I am 84 do not drink or smoke keep very fit and healthy and drive a car and ride a Scooter ( Honda Click ) I am 64 kg no fat on me, still have great reflexes and can see very good, I have been riding Motor Bikes for over 60 years, have raced bikes, I always wear a correct approved helmet, gloves and jacket and never flip-flops or wife beaters. The people that say if you are older should not ride a bike or drive car are just stupid, I see every time I go out very bad younger people riding Bikes very bad car drivers, , Farangs that are very over weight that have no hope of handing a bike correctly, many young people riding like lunatics with no idea what they are doing, Farangs and Thais with the GF side saddle that is very dangerous thing to do, young guys on holiday with wife beaters shorts flip - flops no helmet going like bats out of hell with newly acquired expensive Thai lady on the back. they are 1000 % more dangerous to themselves and other people, if you can Ride OK and safe the age should have nothing to do with it, and by the way nobody drives a bike you ride bikes that is motor bike push bikes with or with out motors all bikes.

I have been given a Dog, I am 85 do not need a Dog, it is a Thai style Dog not sure how old it is was very young when I got it only about one month old now maybe 6 - 7 months old, it is a very nice friendly Dog very lovable, the Dog needs a family with kids would better, would be great for kids all it wants to do is play, not bark much very quite Dog, where can I give the Dog away to someone ?
