I went through this in Vietnam while my passport was waiting at the Chinese embassy for a visa. No problem getting rooms with photocopies.
Some touts which we were ignoring killed a couple of hotels by saying we had no passports but when going to a hotel cold no issues at all. We were moving almost daily doing halong bay, etc while the passports were in Hanoi.

He needs to match the ludicrous amount that was awarded in order to appeal the decision. If he doesn't have it, he can't appeal. In order words, he needs to be uber wealthy to appeal the crazy decision to make him pay an unworldly sum of $464 million. Which is exactly what I said in the first place.
I have no doubt that the ridiculous amount awarded was to stop him appealing it. $464 million for inflating assets is insane and clearly designed to wrap him up in the legal cobweb in the build up to the election.
Yet the more this happens, the more popular he is. 😆
Maybe you could revert to insulting him and his fanbase? That's sure to work....
But Trump said recently, while under oath, that he had over 400 million in cash. You don't think he was lying do you? I feel more indictments coming, perjury for example.

You shouldn't comment if you don't understand how it works. To appeal a court decision against you, you need to put up in cash or bond for the total amount plus any interest that would accrue while the appeal goes forward. It makes perfect sense, as it prevents the losers (like Trump) from delaying the payout the courts have already levied against them.

As I've been saying for at least 10 years, water is the oil of the 21st century. Not just Thailand, but worldwide.

What dosage of lipitor (atorvastatin) did he/she have you on? Side effects are typically dosage dependant. 10mg/day is the usual starting point. Not sure if there's a smaller dose than that. I guess you could cut a 10 in half to experiment.

A good percentage of Carlson's interviews are fake. The difference with this one is the Carlson was not aware he was being duped. The other ones he's the one duping the MAGA rubes.

Hi , I looked at the cost of a new battery and its around 2,000 Baht , and the Laptop is really old , so knowing my luck I would buy and install a new battery and the week after the mother board would pack up 😀
Tom
.
Old laptops love Linux. If it was sufficient before the battery issues then just replace (or have replaced) the battery. If it was lacking then go for something new.

You could just replace the battery. Easily done.

More censorship of free speech, nothing more, nothing less
Politicians can't take the truth being exposed about them.
Hardly free speech. Try posting something on TikTok that is critical of the Chinese handling of the Uyghurs and see how long it takes for it to get removed.

Same rules will apply when a company is set up so a foreigner can buy a Thai quota condo, correct? Lots of those around.

Also from the above source OP:
Trump attorney Steve Sadow said in a statement that, “While respecting the Court’s decision, we believe that the Court did not afford appropriate significance to the prosecutorial misconduct of Willis and Wade.”
“We will use all legal options available as we continue to fight to end this case, which should never have been brought in the first place,” he added.
Willis's office did not immediately comment on the ruling.
Who cares what Trump's attorney says? You think that's important?

The only ones locked up without a trial are those locked up waiting for a trial. Please provide a reputable source for your unsubstantiated statement.

Trump stupidily thinks this will get him more votes in the election. It only excites the MAGA rubes who would have voted for him anyway. It will cost him undecideds and independents.

Back in Phuket, an Italian neighbor has been operating an illegal bike rental biz without problems. In the nearby vicinity, there are Russians operating car rentals, the Russian employee sitting behind the counter and taking bookings while authorities don't give a sh$t.
Report them, or have a Thai you know report them. There's probably a reward of some sort available.

Thoughts on car? Chevrolet
in Thailand Motor Discussion

It's a Chevrolet. One of the worst American manufactures, ahead of Chrysler though. Don't waste your time. Buy a used Toyota instead.
