Assuming you're 50+ years of age.

You need to complete the application form TM7 and state the reason as 'retirement

You must meet the financial requirements for an extension permit based on retirement, of which there are 3/4 options dependent on nationality.

    a) 12 x 65K monthly overseas transfers to a Thai bank account.
    b) Embassy Income letter (not available to nationals of the UK, USA, or Australians).

    2. 800K deposited in a Thai bank account for 2 months prior to the date of application.

    3. A combination of funds and annual income totalling, 800K on the date of application.

This is a universal list of documents required for an extension application based on retirement, and not specific to any individual Immigration office.

  2. I have been on a dependent visa for the last 6-7 years, based on taking care of my son. He will however move out of Thailand shortly and I wonder if I can change my visa type in Thailand to a retirement visa without leaving the country?
If so which form needs to be filled out?

What papers are needed at CW for retirement visa in 2024?

    Thank you

May I ask , you say your family , Thai ? Because WR is not offering policy to Thai people, just something more for you to think about .

Also, just a thought m, have a look at AXA, previously was one of the most expensive ones, but have now introduced a few new plans and prices surprisingly good with full coverage.

i was with April international , changed over to AXA, half price premium. Admittedly yearly limit is much less. But enough to cover any incident . With April I had something like 100 million yearly , AXA I got 5 million but again half price premium

    This is just not true.
I have 2 Thai citizen on my policy. No questions asked when signing up

Personally I go to Dr. Donna at Medconsult.    https://www.medconsultasia.com/what-is-a-thread-lift/

Currently charging just 2,500 baht per thread though I think that is a timebound promotion.

She has done thread lifts for me twice, pleased both times with outcome. Lasts 1-2 years.

I also go to her for filler and botox. Often a combo of all 3 is needed for best results.

Thread lift as the name implies lifts things upward. Botox on the other hand is good for lines, especially on the forehead and crowsfeet. Filler helps restore facial volume and to some extent can lift things up when applied to say cheekbone area.

Oh really I had not even considered that, or I didn't even know she was in that business.

Thank you! I will look into it

You do not need a plastic surgery vacation service and no advantage to using one.

You can easily book with a plastic surgeon yourself online and make appointment. Travel and hotels are very easy to arrange yourself

Do NOT book at a hospital on or near an island resort or the like. For the best results use an experienced plastic surgeon in Bangkok.

You can get a free online consultation at www.yanhee.net Upload photos of your face from all angles.

Suggest also contacting the Preecha Institute.

     https://pai.co.th/contact-consult/

Nowadays not so usual to get a surgical facelift at 55. Less invasive measures like botox, fillers and thread lifts usually suffice. Have you tried these slready?

Which place(s) should be considered for thread lift in Bangkok?

I am getting Nebido every 12 weeks. You can not get that in Thailand? What us the name of the testo you use?

I have read about Nebido in the past, but don't like the swings in levels. I prefer more reuglar injections in order to keep a stable level.

I don't know whether it is available in Thailand or not. I have always bought my own Enanthate from the pharmacy and inject on my own.

Yes, I was asked that in January 2017, and that was the last straw. You all be photographed by the IO. I changed to an extension based on a WP after that.

However, I still got a visit after changing my extension of stay. The officer asked to see my child and my ex. Fortunately, she lived nearby, so she was able to come over.

I had a divorce agreement, stating I was responsible for our child,  registered at the local district office which covered me in Phuket. Had to be a new copy every year from the office which only cost B30.

I had this document as well however on the first day they still insisted my ex needed to join.
In the end it was all about being drunk on power
