Of course they do! I seriously doubt L/C was on the d/l confiscation program on his own.
I agree, you could not have put it more eloquently if you had tried.

He was taking those DL's back to Phuket from Songkhla?
Correct. That is what is written. If you have knowledge that something illegal is going on here, you should notify the police immediately.

Carefully planned right down to the last detail
" One suspect took the officer’s uniform and tried to escape, but courthouse guards noticed the “cop” was wearing ankle shackles. In a last-ditch attempt to flee "
Also " Kaseam jumped out a second-story window, badly spraining his ankle ".

From the photo it looks like m/bikes are still using this blocked off road.
Looks to me as if the road block is turning people back.

They should target those large gem/jewellery shops in Pattaya. The ones that have (used to have?) loads of tour coaches parked outside.
Yes they do sell genuine gems and jewellery items, but at far higher prices than you can pay in reputable Bangkok shops.
30% more for the Chinese.

I don't think there are any figures available about how many underage motor riders die in traffic every day, however there are plenty of sources about the number of bike riders that die, but just go take a look at any school in the country and watch how many underage children arrive there on a bike without helmet.
I understand that they don't all die, but for sure they are not immune to death in traffic, and if you talk with a teacher they will all be able to give you a reference to a deathly accident that involved underage students.
OK you win, that should keep you happy, you do know, well you should, that there are app 70 Motor cycle fatalities on Thailands roads every day, sorry I cannot give you that in writing, ????????

You call yourself bahtboy, why didnt you take a baht bus instead of riding your bike. There is more to this than meets the eye!

For all the thai bashers, Catholics who commit a crime can go to church, confess their sins, say a few prayers, and they are forgiven. Amen.

And another expert tells you to get on a bus to be safe!! That's one piece of advice I'd be ignoring
Comprehension problems? I never said to get on a bus.

Buy a bus ticket to the nearest country, to be safe. Be very wary about advice you get from all the experts you have around you.

Totally acceptable pratice. I think Norway does the same. In England an OAP goes through a red light, get fined two weeks income. A barrister goes through the same redlight, gets fined one hours income. Yep, thats fair, Ay!!!

Banks love checks, especially foreign ones . They draw on it, deposit it in the short time money market for as long as they can get away with it, then, pay you.
