They don't want to part of the system , paying HIGH taxes for old people that have pensions that are way too high .

Ordinary soap is better than shampoo to shave.

You don't eat much , do you ... 55 gr of spaghetti ? I never read the packet , their portions are not realistic.

Pancakes are my go to : flour 24 B/kg , sugar 23B/kg , water & some sunflower oil = 20 B to get stuffed with pancakes with 1/2 kg flour.

No need for eggs nor milk.

Haven't been there for a while ( retirement extention) , but I parked my "Porsche" on the field behind the police station .

Interesting for the ones that go there with their car , as I used to do.

Explore Thailand with google maps/earth ... it's saving me a lot of diesel ...

I don't like google BUT putting the world on a free interactive computer map , with satelite view AND streetview is AWESOME !

I wonder how many TB of data they have gathered.

If I could , I'd be out of here in a flash .

Next year going home for a few months , so at least I don't have to sit through the smog season and the 40 celcius.

Another big reason why I hate being forced to have 800.000 THB in a Thai bank for "the permission to stay " (aka retirement extention). And I keep driving my now older car . If you don't want to deal with sh.... lawyers and have family that know nothing of Thailand , everything is lost ... and goes in the pocket of some Thai.

Smooth sandpaper ( number 200 or so) . If it goes really deep , use lower number first.

You're lucky . At my immigration office , if they find out , that's a fine and cancelling my extention or refuse to give another retirement extention.
