In the last year or so I have done several WISE.com transfers. A US bank account to a Thai bank. Some arrive in less than one minute, some took 7 days. I think weekends and Thai holidays may have been a factor on longer transfers.

About time. I hear many GRAB delivery bikes in my area with modified exhaust. Wish the GRAB company would require the delivery drivers use NON-modified vehicles. I hear about 10- 20 % of vehicles with modified exhaust over all. The police should follow the law and get them off the public streets, destroy them forever, and fine the drivers 50,000 B. Why anyone would advertise via loud exhaust they are insecure in their manhood, ( small penis), is beyond reason.

Getting a METR is a real pain in the ass. The average Joe cannot wade through the complex online application. One must be computer savvy. Files must be converted, downloaded, scans, photos, banks statements for 6 months , hotel bookings, on and on and on. And then they say you must provide a very good reason why asking for a METR, but there is no place on the application to explain why asking for a METR. Oh yeah and then they want $200 US dollars. pass or fail.

How many days do you get returning to Thailand at a land border crossing with visa exempt? I hear many different numbers of days. 15,30, etc. Flying in is different, Thai will give you 45 days under visa exempt.

Good for you Bob, just remember it's all an act by the girl to get your money. If you don't mind paying, then go for it. Chances are, she acted like she enjoyed it. Been there, done that.

Are you sure they will give you another 30 days? I am reading only 15 days at a land border crossing. It's all very confusing.

Just got my Multiple Entry Tourist Visa. (METR). Fingers crossed there will be an open border crossing in the North of Thailand in mid December and mid Feb. 2023. At this time looks like Chiang Kong bridge border crossing might work. Will report updates later.

Is the bridge border crossing open at Chiang Khong for Non-locals. Wondering about a visa run with a METR visa. Thanks
