Have fitted Top Box on my Honda Forza. Got an Astra Coocace S48, the only Top Box in Thailand with interior lighting, alarm and remote control.

I also got fitted back rest so the trip becomes more comfortable for the person sitting behind.Top Box has of course brake light.

Only thing I did not like was to extend the power cord to the battery, but OK;-)

Bought this from a dealer in Chiang Mai, https://www.facebook.com/coocasethailand

Total price including bracket for Honda Forza 12900, - baht.

  2. Fortuner 3.0: Max Torque 360/1,400-3,200 Max. Power HP: 171

Fortuner 2.5: Max Torque 343/1,600-2,800 Max. Power HP: 144

Big noticeable difference in performance? I do not know, but I hope you know;-)

Do a Toyota search and it will show you horse power and Torque for both engines. Remember torque is the key for heavy rides for normal driving which is done well below 2000 rpm.

  3. Have got a quote on a Toyota Fortuner 2.5 G 2013 model with automatic transmission.

Anyone know if there a big difference between 2.5 and 3.0 performance with normal driving.

I run sometimes up to 130-140 km per hour on good roads.

What about fuel consumption, lower by 2.5 than 3.0? What about resale value and will be sold as easily as a 3.0?

Appreciate the help of knowledgeable persons.

  4. Would be nice to know where in Bangkok/Chinatown. Do you have a phone/email or a website link?

The glass of mad max is cheap and you get what you pay..

a good glass has been around a long time in Thailand.
    But it costs 5000 baht - 7000
Ermax made in France .. sell the most
Good scooter shops in Bangkok. as Bigscooter Store Chinatown
This 100% fit for Honda Forza.

    more important is security.
The Honda Forza is as quiet as an electric lawn mower.

no one hears you such accidents occur

So I have mounted a good exhaust. with a deep rumble
Here you have a very good high-priced
Exhaust mounting. - a Cheep only make noise.

but a leoVinces makes very solid bass pressure....

    and he brings more power.
    This one feels immediately.
The Tired Forza is finally better
    - a deep rumble save your Life - see image

  5. Hi dagling,

Both red and black Forza using Astra S48, and all our Coocase come with brake light as standard feature. (unless you choose not to connect the wire)

As for back rest is part of the optional item that you can choose to add on, and most of our customer will add the "Padded Inner liner" to protect the helmet and have a luxury look inside especially with the "Inner Trunk light" which give a good led white light during night time. (Trunk light optional only can be added with remote/alarm model as this version comes with extra re-chargable battery in the topcase.

For a basic S48 gross black (color lid) keylock will be at = 7300 baht

While the remote/alarm version of S48 gross black (color lid) will be at = 8900 baht

    Optional

    S48 Backrest 800 baht

    S48 Inner liner 1200 baht

Trunk light (only for remote/alarm model) = 500 baht

Mobile charger (only for remote alarm model) = 500 baht (charger with USB support, not inclusive of mobile cable)

What is the name of this black one? And do it have a back rest same as this red one? Price on the black one? Can you connect it to your rear light or break light?

And this box (astra 48) I can fit for my self? it comes with brackets? manual?

  6. There is also a Kawasaki in Khon Kaen, if he lives there then they will be able to answer all his questions, at least one member of staff speaks good English.

    http://www.kawasakimittareyanyont.com/

They did not have any Vulcan or clould not answer him? Nobody speak english in there when he was in the shop. They say "go udon" ;-)))

So anyway, how much do you think he will have to pay down firt time if he can get the bike at finace? 20% ?

  7. The Honda Rebel 250 is a complete different motorcycle, nothing from a Honda Phantom TA200 will fit (with exceptions of a few insignificant parts maybe), and visa-versa.

The Honda Phantom TA200 was only sold "officially" outside Thailand for a short time in Australia and was called the Honda Phantom 200 TA200. The launch in Australia was a complete failure and the motorcycle was only available at the dealers for about 6 months..

Cheers mate for let me know;-)

  8. A friend who lives in Khon Kaen want to buy a new (2014) Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Classic.

He has hired a couple of Vulcan Custom in Pattya 3 years ago, but will now have a Classic model. Is it this color combination as shown in the picture below here 2014 model have? appears as a dark green color?

The person has two problems ... Number 1: He does not know where he can order / purchase in Khon Kaen or in Isaan.

Number 2: He does not have much money in savings, but has an OK benefits of around 80,000 Baht per month. and debt-free house and car.

What percent of the purchase demand them if you buy the bike and pay every month.?
