  1. After several years down here in Thailand, I am now quite certain that my SMS services are pioneering here in Thailand.

People will have to register as SMS, and will will be charged with a very small sum per SMS message (5-10 bath) for information that will save them hundreds bath.

And your unique 'pioneering' sms services involves people paying you to receive spam?

    No SPAM.. Important info;-)

  2. Can anyone tell me about how one should go about to launch SMS services in Thailand?

After several years down here in Thailand, I am now quite certain that my SMS services are pioneering here in Thailand.

Payment of received SMS will be automatically deducted from user's calling card.

I guess you have to have a work permit in Thailand, but now I desire that this website will be registered in a server abroad, making it over a legal matter whether you need a work permit in Thailand?

    So, any tips and advice?

  3. Had a little discussion yesterday about the aircon and power consumption.

A buddy thought they could save a lot by having the aircon on 23 degrees and half power to the fan, versus 17 degrees.

Are there any of you who have calculated a bit on this, or is there a minimum to save as described above?

  4. this must be the first scooter ive seen with a yoshi whatever floats your boat i suppose

Think you need glasses mate, it's an Akrapovic not a Yoshi!!!!

Just had one fitted to mine today, looks the <deleted> but too loud with the baffle out but a nice note with it in....a lot smoother and slightly more grunt than stock and a damn sight lighter, geeez that stock muffler weighs a ton!!!

  5. Ha ha ha... Are for real??? "get that cold in Thailand?" Ha ha ha;-))))

Now and hard question to the Forza owners, anyone know or seen the accessories yet? i wan to get back support on mine

I too would be very keen to know the height of the "higher" windscreen offered by Honda for the Forza, and whether it's tinted etc ....

Also, has anyone asked for the heated hand grips or does it never get that cold in Thailand?

  6. 210 Km today at my Forza, love it more and more.

Handel's well in the corners and very stable on the open road. I get about 29 km/liter at speed 90-100 Km/t. Comparing this bike to my old PCX, I would say it`s VERY much better bike, I would even say it`s the perfect bike her in Thailand. Have no concern as ever to take this bike out for a 500 km. road-trip...smile.png

Flogging it already! 100kph amounts to WOT. I do believe the owners manual recommends a more gentle break-in.

Right. Do you happen to have a link to a nice PDF download of Owner Manual in ENGLISH ?? smile.png

Man it's a Honda! The owners manual always says the same thing no matter what the language. I've had about 25 Honda's and I gave up reading the owners manual after about number 15!

  7. just picked up the bike Forza 300Cc white/black color from Mityon Sukhumvit Pattaya and had my first 50km, first impressions compared to my PCX 150Cc

Summary: Enjoy it and dont miss the PCX150CCc, 11 months/7k km (sold to mate for 60k)

    Cheers Mr. J

    • net price THB 159.000
    • 1 Index 3/4 helmet(820 THB) as premium
    • 2.000 THB for tax/gov. insurance/book/number plate
    • no private/special number plate number possible anymore
    • compulsory burglary/theft insurance by Mityon Pattaya 4.500 THB for 2 years(1.year 90% 2. year 70& cover)
    • smooth and very quite ride
    • lower seat position and very easy handling, also caused by the big tires - even for my 39kg gf, no problems in city traffic
    • very comfortable driver seat - passenger seat is to far behind the driver, so gf has to sit on the back rest
    • power reasonable but not overwhelming, had it to 120km/h
    • torque is nice
    • gasoline consumption according to the bord computer - 30km/l
    • only minor wind protection due to low screen, maybe to be customized later
    • huge storage space (1 seat, 2 dash)

Enjoy your new ride mate;-))) I have done 200 km and love it more and more. No regrets at all for baying this one;-)

  8. A big bike starts from 1600cc ;.))) All the rest is a small bike;-)))

    For underpowered cruisers and Harleys...............

And you called a 1700cc Roadstar for "underpowered"??? It`s all about the torque my friend when we talk about big cruisers, not even Harley`s can match the torque from a 1700 Roadstar;-)))

  9. Having now brought my new Honda Forza 300 and drove it home about 50 miles. I just have to say I was not disappointed by the comfort of this bike. Had previously a PCX 125, but this Forza is light years better.

Nice and stable on the road, great ABS brakes.Since the bike is brand new, so when I got tested a little acceleration and forces within reasonable limits. Fantastic nifty bike that I honestly believe must be Burkes to both city and highway.

I checked here first price at a local dealer and them demanded 175,000 bath. Drove then 45km to Khon Kaen where I got mine for 160,500 bath with 2 helmets and a jacket.Joined and they claim the bike will manage 30km on 1 liter of petrol.

Can not wait for tomorrow to take it out on tour again ;-)

Good stuff. How good is the suspension.......or to early to say yet?

    Hi Daglin,

did you purchased the display model or do they have som already on the stock? In all Pattaya dealers there is only 1 single bike (for display only) and they claiming sale starts about 25th of February....

    Cheers Mr.J

I bought the display model. I ask for a white one, but they say about 2 weeks delivery time...

  10. Always run on red 91 petrol on my Yamaha Road Star 1700, 2007 model. But now it becomes harder and harder to find this fuel, a few days ago, it disappeared from my local gas station also;-(

What do you run on your big bikes? Spoke with a man on a Harley last week, and he said that he is now running on orange 95. What do you think the fuel is best for my bike?
