I am not aware from anyone in the USA receiving a QR code, there may be some, but I have not seen any messages or Facebook posts.

I am mostly seeing people with EU vaccine certs or Brits posting about receiving a QR code.

I suspect that US applications go into the "will review someday" pile.

The critical question is whether anyone who didn't get an immediate QR code managed to get a QR che next day or so...

Well I cant apply until 11/09/21 and my flight leaves 11/30/21. I hope all goes ok because I have paid a ton of $$ with hotels and flights already

    Thanks.

Also, I contacted my hotel and they said that they will pick me up at the airport and drive me by their partner hospital for the test even though I arrive so late at night. Apparently, the hospital does do the tests 24/7. So, that is a relief to know that I don't have to wait until the morning to get the test.

Was this for Bangkok or Phuket if Phuket which hotel name please?

so for Phuket , whats the process as there donest seem to be any "test and go " packages that include the arrival PCR test

Not sure I have called 5 star hotels and 1 star hotels and no one knows anything. I think Phuket is not ready and the only choice is to cancel Phuket and go to Bangkok as they have the one night packages that can be booked.

  4. Well I guess I am going to pay an extra $475 usd to sit on the airplane in phuket and then fly on to BKK then stay in a AQ hotel that has the one day packages ready for guests. It seems that the phuket hotels dont know what the hell they are doing or care. Welcome to a beach laid back town.

If I change this I will be able to comply with the new thailandpass website and be done with the phuket mess!!

  5. I called two different 5 star hotels and got two different answers about the rt-pcr test. 1 answer was to do test at the airport they dont provide the test from a hotel standpoint. They said to prebook on the psas website for the RTpcr test at airport. I asked about having to upload the pre paid along with the paid rt pcr test and said it cant be done from the new thailand pass website the hotel said that I would need to call the thailandpass website and discuss with them.

    2. The 2nd hotel I called, I informed the same information and they said to wait till after Nov 7th because rules will be changing. I already knew this because the coe that were already filed are valid till Nov 7th and then the new thailandpass website will roll out.

I still dont know the answer I guess just upload the hotel booking if it is accepted show up at the airport I am sure they wont let you exit without a covid test then wait for the result.

If you’re booking test and go

The hotel booking must include the PCR test.

but if the upload option is only 1 form then the system needs to have option for more related documents.

I'm going to wait 2-3-4 days to see what happens, I'm flying to BKK nov 22-23-24

I just want to get back to my family as well as others out there I am sure!  It does not look like the hotels in Phuket were ready for the test and go option because none are offering the pre paid rt pcr test and I have looked from one star to five star hotels online and nada!

    What were you trying booking

    1. Test and go
    2. Sandbox
    3. Or other

Only reading the rules for the test and go option Phuket. It states to have a prepaid one day hotel along with rt pcr COVID test but when you try to attach your hotel booking you cannot attach your rt pcr booking as well and the way the rule states your test should be included in your booking??

My hotel did not know what to do yet.  I did go thru the psas website and paid there, but as you say I didn't see where to enter that information.  If I tried to attach multiple documents, they just replaced the existing one.

Yep I ran into that problem when applying for my visa was only able to attach one document and no larger than 3mb I was able to work around converting to pdf but not smooth.

  9. Ok have reviewed the new website and it states under the 1st option one ''test and go plan" that a paid one night stay with a paid rt-pcr test is required?

Paid AQ / SHA+ hotel reservation confirmation (for the duration of 1 day and including the fee for one RT-PCR test) This from the new website!

    1. There are no hotels that I can find in Phuket that offer the pre-paid RT-PCR test as a package or even mention on there websites I am looking through AGODA. Are we still to use the PSAS option and prepay for the test on arrival at airport? If this is the case there is no option to add the pre paid Rt-pcr test on the new thailandpass website only a choice to upload your pre paid one night hotel stay???  Anyone care to comment or offer there advise on what to do?

A TM30 is not required unless you change your registered address or enter the country with a new visa.

If you have an extension with a re-entry permit or a multiple entry visa no report is needed.

Your 90 day report will be due 90 days from the day your entered the country.

Ubonjoe, So to confirm I am returning to Thailand with a new non o based on marriage and although I am returning to my Wife address that is registered my wife will have to report me on the tm30 so she does not get fined? If I recall I think there is a time limit to do the tm30 as well but I forget that part.

  11. I am sorry if I have not found an answer looking at other topics but my question is. What is Phuket plan for arrivals after Nov 1st with the RT PCR tests? From I am reading I am seeing from the CCSA that hotels will be responsible for getting the test to there guest for there one night stay?

I am not finding any hotels on Agoda that are sha + that are including or even mention providing the test to new guests under the new Thailandpass rollout.  Does anyone know if you can just get your test on arrival at the airport go to your sha + hotel and wait for your result within 24 hours?  Thank you

All the above,I booked mine on Agoda, the cheapest was around £95, includes transporation, Covid Test, 3 meals, and hopefully a happy ending! ????

I guess that is Bangkok because I only see Sha plus on Agoda for Phuket. I am guessing that you can just get your Rt -Pcr test done on arrival at the Phuket airport. I sent an email to my asking and was told to wait until after the new thailandpass rollout. Anyone have any ideas about the Phuket airport test on arrival?? Thank you

If you use the Wise and BBK bank you need to get Wise to "tag" your BBK bank details so that your transfers go to your BBK only. If Wise do that then your BBK bank account statement will show as International and the bankbook will show as FTT.

If Wise send it to BKK then it will show as FTT and be paid out just after 2pm on the next banking day. If however it is sent via another bank and arrives in seconds then it will show up as an internal bank transfer and you will need o go to the intermediary bank and get a proof of foreign funds transfer from that bank.

There are several other threads running on the forum which will give you all the information that you will need and more.

Do you just ask wise via email to tag you? I have two different bank accounts one them is Bangkok bank. In addition I read that you could have your social security directly deposit into Bangkok bank branch New York. Would that work?

  14. I am actually flying on the same flight number and I called the airline and asked them the question and I was told that I would need to pay an additional $475.00 USD to stay on the plane and follow on to Bangkok. I only paid $485.00 for the 1st leg from USA to Dubai on to Phuket so needless to say I will spend a night in Phuket then move on to BKK the next day. I am not paying that type of $$ for a connection to BKK.

  15. I have a Usa passport with a non o visa based on marriage. My daughter has a Thai passport and a Usa passport. I would like to bring her from Thailand to visit family in the USA. Which passport would she use to exit Thailand? I am pretty sure she would have to use the USA passport to enter in the USA but I am asking because she has never had no visa to stay in Thailand because she is a dual citizen but my concern is 1. If she uses her Thai passport to exit Thailand they will not let her fly because she does not have a visa to enter the USA? or 2. If she uses her USA passport to exit Thailand she will be charged a huge fine for an overstay? Is that even possible? Thank you
