motdaeng replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News

CNG and LPG vehicles face crackdown after tragic school bus fire
motdaeng replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
thailand faces one major issue: corruption! regardless of the area that needs urgent improvement, deeply entrenched corruption, often passively accepted by many thai people, obstructs progress. thailand's biggest battle was and will be against corruption, as everything is interconnected. without addressing or at least reducing corruption, nothing will improve in the long term ... it has nothing to do with a lack of education or not existing laws; it's purely about corruption!- 77 replies

Royal Funeral Service for School Bus Fire Victims
motdaeng replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
unfortunately, not much will change again, at least not in the long run. the same can be said for countless other similar tragic events involving deaths and other disasters ... anyone who chooses to live in thailand must accept that human lives, health, nature, etc. hold little value, and nothing will change that ... it is so sad but the true! -

you absolutely right, it is the same as for an ev car ... normally repairable and still retaining some value ... you seem to have some very basic knowledge about ev cars at least ... -

a battery warranty of 8 years don't mean the battery has to be replaced or can not be used anymore ... it's the same as for a ice car, after the warranty you still can use the car as normal as before -
Surprised no reaction from BYD owners on this forum
motdaeng replied to stratocaster's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
from what i know, some companies are now offering battery warranties longer than 8 years. many studies show that newer batteries can last up to 600,000 km or more. @vinny41 is the expert on ev data. i’m sure that as batteries continue to improve, ev-haters will have to find a new reason to criticize them ... -

Parents Demand 1.21M Baht Compensation for Children They Didn’t Raise
motdaeng replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
this child was also a human being... does it matter who claims the money? the reckless, dangerous, and criminal actions of all involved should be held accountable, not just with jail time but also with fines and compensation ... -
Parents Demand 1.21M Baht Compensation for Children They Didn’t Raise
motdaeng replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
my initial thought agrees with yours... however, if this approach encourages thai people to follow the law, take responsibility, and understand that negligence has consequences, then it's worth pursuing for the potential benefits. empty promises from politicians and ineffective law enforcement won't bring any changes ... as i see it, the core issue will always be corruption ... -
I Quit my Job to Drive Electric Trucks
motdaeng replied to motdaeng's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
My First Week as an Electric Trucker ... -
thank you very much, you explained the situation very well. almost every week, a new ev hater shows up in this thread with ridiculous claims and insults aimed at ev owners. in contrast, many forum members are open-minded and ask questions about electric vehicles. they receive patient and detailed answers. unfortunately, some of these members are driven away by the haters and have decided to avoid the topic of electric cars in this forum ... ev owners don't judge or insult others for buying an ice vehicle, but the reverse has become the norm ...

if you're concerned about the resale value in just a few years, it's better to choose a hybrid car... (i'm not belong to the ev haters! )
-
who says that? mr. safety first, someone who doesn’t own an ev and has only limited knowledge about them? shame on you! i would say the exact opposite. all ev owners on this forum provide excellent, first-hand experience, advice, and answers. just because you don’t like the answers doesn’t mean they’re not accurate. agian, shame on you! every ev owner on this forum will tell you: ev's aren’t for everyone, ev's won’t save the climate, ev's have a lot of potential to improve along with even better infrastructure, and yes, ev's have also some disadvantages too ... it’s only the ev haters who pretend to know everything about ev's, even though most have never driven or owned one. think about that!

Bangkok Will Not Flood, PM Paetongtarn Shinawatra Assures
motdaeng replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
she also said her father toni is seriously ill ( to avoid jail time) ... and she isn't ready yet to become a prime minister ... there are a lot more things to come ... luckily for her, thai people believe these lies and support her criminal father toni ... thailand can be proud ... -
Feel sorry for AN posters who bought electric
motdaeng replied to Celsius's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
it's really interesting: only non-ev owners are the ones demanding more range and better battery quality. only ev denier's claim that today's battery technology is useless and uneconomical. if you ask ev owners, they'll tell you that for everyday use, today's battery technology and range are already completely sufficient and will continue to be for the next 15-20 years. one thing is certain, battery technology will see significant progress in the coming years. but only a specific group will have real benefit from this development. who really needs 1'000 km of range without stopping? who really needs to take only a few minutes break to charge every few hours on a long journey? these ideas mostly come from petrolheads and ev denier's, not from experienced ev owners! by the way, every ev owner has also driven an internal combustion engine (ice) vehicle for years, so they know what they're talking about. on the other hand, the "ev haters" have zero experience because they've never owned an ev car. it's also noticeable that ice drivers often seems to show a kind of hate and like do insult ev owners. has any ev owner in this forum ever attacked or insulted an ice driver just for driving an ice vehicle? -
are you calling my post attacking "the man"! agian, it is just a 500 thb ticket ... never mind! drive safe to all out there ...

you are not allowed to enter a intersection when traffic is stocked ... yellow phase is normally a few seconds, you must have seen the traffic in front of you has stopped ... it is just a ticket...
