Jakob, I’m sorry for the circumstances surrounding your need to ask this question but the answer, as you will have seen by other contributors is YES. However, one still has to appreciate that the RE-ENTRY permit has an expiry date perhaps linked to your Immigration Visa and it’s extension, so just be aware of this if you are, for any reason, contemplating a lengthy stay in your country.

Is this prostate hyperplasia medicine available online in Thailand?
-
Quite right. These dates in the Thai calendar are to respect the passing of past kings: Chulalongkorn (Rama 5) and Bhumipol (Rama 9) so there is logic if you know something about the country you are living in!!

Got a pigeon problem? Time to break out the LASER!!!
AjarnMartin replied to Crossy's topic in DIY Forum
Crossy, Thanks so much for this article. It’s on order… We built a ‘modern loft’ house with cascading flat roofs and the pigeons seemingly wear hobnail boots - a nightmare 🤣 I’ll keep everyone posted on my Jedi success… -

itsari, I may be British but I live and work in Thailand and buy my Vegemite from Thai suppliers. God knows how expensive the product is in London! 🤣🙏🏻

Not true… I’m a Brit and prefer Vegemite to Marmite. It’s just a question of taste… 🙏🏻

Frozen in time: British expats losing out on pensions in Thailand
AjarnMartin replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Hi There… with a name like ‘the blather’ I guess you are north of the border. I’m originally from Largs so may I suggest that you tell your readers what ‘greeting’ is… 😂🤣 before you are asked to explain… -
You’re so right, JB… Amazingly, as an amputee myself, I’ve only heard this joke a hundred times before… Do you do ‘stand up’ comedy? That’s another one for your repertoire… 555

Hi Baboy, Today, I’ve been speaking, for personal reasons, to Otto Bock in Bangkok and they inform me that Kenovo is an Otto Bock product and can be managed in Thailand, both at Bangkok and Khon Kaen… Edit by Crossy - Please PM for contact details
-
Hi Baboy, I too am an AK (above knee) amputee and came to Thailand many years ago with TWO prostheses, one being a ‘spare’. The prostheses are made with a number of components and mine includes a ‘knee joint’ made by a German company, Otto Bock, which is very clever, mechanically, and has a normal ‘swinging action’ which, cosmetically, looks like a normal walking gait. I have used this company in Bangkok and Khon Kaen, who have serviced the prostheses over the years, replacing the foot and servicing the knee. It is NOT cheap, but they also offer high-tech upgrades which include ‘bionic’ knees and are a very professional outfit. PM me for further contact details if interested. I do NOT represent the company. My suggestion would be to see if Otto Bock are represented in Australia and rely on their Thai facilities for local, prosthetics engineers.

Hi andygrr, This was the problem with my BlackVue DR650 in which the camera innards just collapsed with the heat. It was also why I bought a battery pack with a dtac annual SIM card which is now installed under the passenger seat. Works well so far, but I now receive about 400 messages a DAY about activity both in parked mode and driving which is sensitive to shutting the car doors and hatchback when ‘her that matters’ is out shopping… Does anyone out there know how to limit this reported activity? It’s driving me crazy (excuse the pun) but I can find nothing in the manual which addresses this. Cheers!

Hi CanadaSam, I’ve just had my 3rd dashcam fitted by CarCamKorea in Bangkok. They have an excellent range of equipment for sale and are very professional. They are available on Line. If you need to speak English, ask for Monzi, the owner, and tell them Martin from Phetchabun recommended them - no, there is no commission involved, they are truly a professional supplier. PM me for more info, but I bought a front and rear camera system from Pittasoft in Korea called BlackVue which connects via Cloud, to my iPhone 14 and whilst waiting for the installation, I met a guy having a 360 degree camera installed for about 10,000 ThB… https://www.carcamkorea.com and on Line: http://@carcamkorea

Traveling from Thailand to the UK on a cargo ship.
AjarnMartin replied to bob smith's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Bob, When I moved to Thailand, I didn’t just want to board a plane in the UK and land in BKK. I therefore planned to sail here with starclippers.com, from Athens to Phuket on a ship called Star Clipper. The 38-day voyage was absolutely memorable and I would love to do the return, repositioning voyage if and when I return to Blighty. There is a new brochure available on their website and if you have any questions, just PM me. 👍 -
Hi Essex Boys, I’m sure you will find EVA Air an excellent, affordable airline and their Premier Economy is very comfortable. It’s a far-superior experience to Thai Airways. They are based in Taiwan and so I often used them to fly direct to BKK as it is an ideal stopover in their journey to Taoyuan Airport in Taiwan. I would advise downloading their app and looking at all the possibilities. It’s been recently updated and you will find it useful. I don’t know if they have an STN-BKK schedule - I used to fly from MAN-BKK but the app will enlighten you. Good Luck Martin (my daughter lives in Clacton) 🙏🏻

Monitor Lizard Causes Havoc at Thai Electricity Office

...and a puny pun as well... 555 -
Brian K, Kannikap has given you the correct advice. Many of the other comments are irrelevant as they haven't read your original post correctly. You are leaving Thailand BEFORE the current 90-day is due for renewal, so your entry BACK INTO THAILAND will automatically activate a NEW 90-DAY with no penalties providing you note the NEW 90-day date.
