On this subject, is there any companies that make supply and erect big sheds in Thailand ? I'm now looking to lay a slab and get a shed approx 10x6m if possible. Does anyone know the cost of something like that ?? I would then do as Harry did and build a small office/bathroom with AC in one corner of it...

Well - because it spreads like wldfire - only some walk asymptomatic spreading it in their wake because they don't know they are sick....

The lucky one's survive, anyone with a weakened system probably will not.....

Take a look at this guy, youngish, tough, a super human specimen, good habits.....

Look at the before & after.....

In his case, he worked in health care....

Many others weren't so lucky and are no longer walking at all - because they came in contact with some that thinks just like you.....

Just looks like he couldn't get hold of his regular supply of steroids whilst in lock down !!

Btw asymptomatic people don't leave a trail of bodies in their wake...

It's more a case of unlucky ones die and everyone else gets a cold and continues as always ..

This is Thailand were even expats don't like to pay  for decent quality tools.

I'm like you, bought all my cordless tools over from U.K, little by little in checked luggage (batteries in carry on).

My wife is under strict instructions not to lend them to anyone, I don't care who or why ????

I have a couple Maktec tools that she can lend to people who really need something done....

  5. If just for the occasional DIY job, then one of the previously linked ones will do.

However, if he is a "tradesman" then something more durable and long lasting would be more economical in the long run.

You really do get what you pay for with power tools...

Just because you stay onboard in port doesn't mean you don't come into contact with shore reps, vendors or dock workers etc...

Exactly.. I've been onboard for 4 months now, although we have had no contractors onboard, the chef goes out and shops for provision. So there is always a chance that we could be exposed.. Having said that, I believe it's all over hyped and overkill...

There's a Dengue vaccine that costs 3000baht at my local hospital. While I had Dengue  I asked the doctor if I should have it in future and he told me it doesn't work. I respected his honesty.

Apparently only for people between certain age brackets and only if you have already had Dengue !!

In other words, as your doc said, it don't work...

Oman Air suspended all operations and I haven't seen any reports that they resumed flying yet !!
