The trees keep on growing, the wildlife tries to be left alone, the seas go up and down. What do the National Parks do that could make them lose money? Some fences, parking, dodgy toilets and places to collect money that no-one is coming to. Think some greedy people expected one billion baht and they won't be getting it. So sad!

greeneking replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
If they really need money to improve tourist facilities may I suggest there is no need for a Sports and Tourism body, the TAT and the Tourist Police. One body could do it all. -

I pretend I am clever and am teaching you and you pretend you are learning. OK? -
Sorry. I really more meant people starting in careers where they thought they would be serving the public such as in policing and government and then find they must serve a boss and an organisation that is seeking to bend and break the rules to make money.

Nearly all of its citizens live like it is. Others live in a way most citizens of London, Paris or New York would be jealous of. People who want to better their lives through their intelligence or efforts face unfair obstacles. They may have to compromise their principles to get anywhere and support a family. Sad.

.....which will not happen while companies like CP use the present system to protect and expand their interests. The protesters are clear that their desire for freedom of thought and expression, their future opportunities and a better balance of wealth in the country would all be better served without CP.
