Pepsi Max has always been hard to find outside of the larger supermarkets.
7/11's in non touristy areas don't bother with it because the Thais don't like it, it's just not "Coke"
I used to have the Pepsi truck crew drop me off a crate of Max when they came through the village but then the kids would raid the fridge and never return the empties.
Don't ya just love the little tackers?
So I gave that idea away and started buying it in cans from Lotus when it was available.
Now I can sit out the front drinking can after can of Pepsi Max without anyone thinking I'm a dot.
The naive fools.
Pepsi and Sangsom, nectar of the Gods.

Where was everyone during the 'prolonged abuse' part?
According to the report she had only brought the lad in two weeks ago.
Hardly 'prolonged' but reprehensible just the same.

Some motor related Thai phrases http://www.expatmoto...th/phrases.html
There's a few mistakes in that list.
-
Could I also suggest the purchase of a phrasebook or that you take a few lessons in the Thai language?
Both rather obscure (and to some, ridiculous) tactics may go a long way in minimising the occurrence of such disasters in the future,
Just a thought...
You could also suggest they at least give their staff a few lessons as to what is on the menu.

Is the dog ok?
That's what I mean.........what about the dog?
THAT was the cause of the accident.............!!
In this area (Khao Talo and Khao Noi) I find every morning around 50-75 stray dogs running around, sleeping in the middle of the road, "attack" passants, etc.
It's about time that the city council is going to gather the dogs and get rid of them, but no.........Buddhism respects all living creatures including stray dogs...........
High speed by both rider and the trucker was the cause of the accident.

Was it one bar in particular or did they all work at separate bars? No one wants to mention the name of the bar?
Three of the little treasures have the same surname and going by the ages looks like two sisters and a daughter.
A real family business.

Not true, it is always the stray dogs running past. Sometimes they are even strong enough to waft in through the window.
I looked but there was no stray dog in our car the other day.

Thai PM Yingluck Confident No Coup Against Her
in Thailand News

I think another coup is only a matter of time.
The army has been working their butts off trying to make a good impression on the common folk during the current ( no pun intended) crisis.
When the coup comes, the people will probably be thinking,
"Well, both sides of government did nothing for us during the flood. Let the army run the place for a while."
We can be Burma with electricity.
