    Greetings,

Thaksin, he has a mild case of dementia and he's a criminal, so we just need to tell him shut-up and don't forget to take his morning medications!

He was also responsible for the tak bai massacre on October 25 2004, which we will not forget.

  2. Whatever the government will charge for medical coverage, in any case they will make sure, that you pay the treatment with your credit card in advance. Then you can sue the Thai health insurance system from home, to get your money back. That might take five years plus the costs for communication and a Thai lawyer. If you are lucky the lawyer will not be corrupt.

if you are set to buy a bike in that price range, check for second hand Yamaha MT-03 (321cc), that is what I would buy

it's faster than my 500cc Honda CB500F was

Good choice, relatively light weight, enough power, perfect handling for a bike in this price range (you might want to change the front fork oil to 20 weight though), and when you have some riding experience, go for the Pirelli Diablo tires, as with those you can scratch you knee pads. Have fun and ride safe.

    That's leasing, not buying.

It is not leasing, as you have to pay the complete regular market price of the property up front. You may call it Fixed-term tenancy or tenancy for years, though even then the payment normally is on a monthly basis. Actually is is buying, and returning the property for free after these 99 years. And as such it was defined in the respective Mexican law at that time.

  5. Thais who lost their business or job, but attend school for one day in a week, to achieve some kind of graduation one day, had been rejected by the current 5.000 scheme with the absurd ground "that there are students", and therefore not eligible. Upon a complaint of the judging, a student whom I know personally, received the same answer word for word the second time.

  6. Tire wear has something to do with your driving style and maintaining the correct air pressure at all times, and not the amount of miles you put on them. Therefore I would judge the tires to go from safe to unsafe at the legal tire tread depth for cars which is in the UK and Europe 1.6mm across the central three-quarters of the tire.

Absolutely correct. The congeners in beer that give it flavor are very unstable, anything more than six weeks old and they are gone.

I sometimes wonder what people are thinking when they buy imported beers, I doubt they come in by air freight.

...probably in a cooling chain in between 6 and 12 degrees centigrade. That is good enough.

  8. The real problem is, that after the ban Thailand will be flooded with beer, which has been sitting at outside temperatures for a month, and is virtually dead. I know that Thai folks don't mind, but I do. Besides, both main breweries have massive logistic problems to transport their beer in due time, especially into the very South. Boon Rawd (Leo and Singha) are the worst. Even at regular times, they do not manage to transport their beer faster than one month after filling the bottles. Chang is a little better. Sometimes you can find Chang beer, which may be only 10 days old.  Now we have to wait until the old stock of p*ss is being sold.

There are plenty around if they wanted to find one.  Cardiff University has a whole Department. As I understood it, Bangkok University Department of Oceanography advised Pattaya on the solution.  It was their idea to add beach but not breakwaters or groynes.

They do their work on Wangerooge, Frisian islands, northern Germany,

  10. All highways and country roads are dark red colored for years already, way to many deaths, not caused by a relatively harmless virus, but by reckless and drunk driving. Somebody should do something about this. But with the ineptitude of the Thai government nothing will happen. I have no numbers available, but I strongly believe, that the actions to fight the Corona virus saved way more lives on Thailands roads, than it actually caused.
