The change from Non-B to the extension based on retirement was one visit at the wonderful and helpful immigration in Hat Yai, with all necessary papers at the ready. That took about 90 minutes, and was back in 2013. No agent necessary.

I keep on going to the same Thai restaurant for years. I now only eat cooked food freshly made in the wok. There I can be also sure, that they do not add sugar or MSG to the meals. Excessive amounts of MSG consumed for dinner in the evening prevents me from sleeping for a couple of hours. It does not have to be Chinese for me at all. Sizzler would be the other non MSG option. But I would not touch the salad bar until this pandemic virus spreading is over.

Will my mobile get a virus if I load it?
I do not know about your mobile, but my notebook is safe with core temperatures above 56 degrees Centigrade.

Never bet on the train being on time. You need to make other arrangements.
...when I take the train, it is always for me "One Night in Bangkok".

My guess is this is a no go for most.
Many already lost money on non-refundable travel & hotel
For them to now re-book for Oct on a wing & a prayer? Not likely
Should be good for those already living in or near Buriram though as it will be easy to attend if it goes on at all.
We are all better off and spend money saved to fight hunger in the world. Everybody is taking about the virus, but hardly anybody realizes, that there are still 25.000 humans die from hunger - EVERY DAY!

You need to have insurance for Malaysia, which is expensive at the border and cheaper through a local agent. You also need to have a sticker with the translated Thai number plate on your car in front and back. You may not drive into Malaysia if your car windows are more than 25% tinted. You must have a valid international drivers license, or an officially translated Thai drivers license. You may not drive with the Thai drivers license in Malaysia for longer than one month. You also must have evidence with you, that you own the vehicle. That's all AFAIK.

Are people really too stupid to see that Sanders is just one step away from being a full fledged Communist?
Maybe that is a rhetorical question.
If you knew the difference in between Sanders positions and communism, you would not have asked this question. A little reading could help.

Don't jumpt to conclusions it is entirely possible poor thais avoid the checkpoints because they may not have money for a helmet or they simply may not have a helmet and 500 baht is a lot of money to many of them. How long have you lived here?
They have the money to ride a 40.000THB motorcycle, and do not have the money for a helmet?? TIS helmets start with 150 THB, the DOT ones with 1.200.

Ten years ago I received 250THB for every hour of teaching in a private school. Trying to get a job at other schools was a complete waste of time, as I am NOT a native speaker, and would have been paid less than those teachers from Scotland and Wales with their wonderful pronunciation. It did not count, that I worked in the U.S. for a couple of years, or did professional translations of workshop manuals for VW and Renault, plus a diploma in social education, teaching experiences in Sweden, and so on.
Luckily I am in the position, that I do not have to teach, and with the salaries offered today, I doubt the government will find any professional staff.

I insured my trips with Allianz in Hat Yai, Europe though is slightly cheaper, than the US or Canada. No problems at all. But I am not an American.

The investigators did not look at the video on Youtube. As we all know, money rules in Thailand.

Never forget to check the air quality underneath the duvet of your bed, as the frass of the mites, which populate the bed sheets and the matress, adds significantly to the amount of particle matter!!

Everyday life and death in Thailand, either you disappear, fall of a condo building, or be found committing suicide with the hands tied on your back. If that does not help, there still is a good chance to die in a freak boat accident. Koh Tao Death Island, Phuket, Pattaya, and Samui, places to avoid in Thailand.

..."should" is a conjunctive mood, "must" would be legally binding. So what??

First there will be a Cabinet approval, and after that the environmental and health impact assessment. This order only in Thailand!!!

As one can clearly see in your posting, the consumption of farmed salmon shows some mental disorders already.
