Cheap and best hair cut for men in BKK?
Local village guy in NoWhereVille Northern Thailand does a great job for 60 THB (I give him 100). My gal who use to cut my hair in Chiang Mai was 100 THB until the Covid "emergency" over-reaction by the government shuttered her shop and many others between 2020 and 2023. Had some business in Chiang Mai today and the fact that there are still a lot of closed, shuttered businesses isn't a good sign, but it does make it a 'buyer's market.' The gal I first used in Chiang Mai charged 100 THB then changed her price to 150. I changed barbers. I thought the 150% increase was excessive. 100 THB is a fair price and generally I'd give a 20 THB tip. So I'd imagine in BKK you'd probably be paying 100 to 150 THB. Try out different barbers. The difference between a good hair cut and a bad hair cut is about two weeks.

antibiotics ear/eye
Lordy - go to a doctor - ENT (Ears-Nose-Throat)/Otolaryngologist and get it checked out. If prescribed meds, use the prescription and then purchase those med OTC if you need them again. If you don't know the difference between otolaryngology and ophthalmology, best not to self-prescribe.

Biden slammed after report reveals number of grandchildren his aides instructed to say publicly: 'Monsters'
This is like getting involved in tabloid journalism, 'tattle-tale' news rags, and Lakhon. I.e., a waste of time. I don't care about the slimy underbelly of the political class

Cheap and best hair cut for men in BKK?
Anywhere with a 'barber pole.' The only difference between a good and bad haircut is two weeks.

Job offer in the middle of nowhere - would you take it?
Personally, I like the middle of nowhere. But if your young and randy, then it's probably not the best fit for you. Any only you will know. Take a one year contract. You'll know after a year. Personally I spent 3 full years teaching in Korat. When I move back to 'the middle of nowhere' Lamphun Province, I offered to teach at multiple government schools - for freaking free - but all I required was that he school step up and work with the MOL to obtain a work permit. Not one school in the entire Amphur was interested. So my attitude toward Thai public schools got flushed down the the loo. In my humble opinion, Thais are happy to use you without reciprocation. But you having a paying job in an rural setting with a work permit? Kudos! Dude - Embrace it. Village life is good. It just ain't the big city but it has it positives and negatives. Give it a shot.

Everything ready for ailing Thai elephant’s arrival from Sri Lanka on July 2nd
Is anyone asking for a few million THB to take care of this one. Really. Thailand needs state funded elephant reserves. These should be national treasures and as such nationalized. Elephants should not be used to attract capital for non-profits. They need to be wilded.

Where is a good source to buy local seed for outdoor growing
I'm planning my project garden and need to get some seedlings started. I don't want to bother with the boutique 'feminized' seed shipped from overseas. I just want to purchase seeds locally that are adapted to the climate in Thailand. This is all outdoor growing. I get what I get as far as male/female. I seldom smoke it anyway, so this really is pretty much a garden project. I do use the leaves as tea before bed sometime. Overall, I just like the way cannabis looks as a plant as I enjoy the looks of many other plants I grow in my garden. Anyway - I'm looking for a source for local seed that will actually germinate.

Suggestions for a "Cheap Charlie" Smart Phone
There are some areas in my life where I AM a Cheap Charlie. Smartphones is one of those areas. Why? In this day and age they are somewhat of a necessity - but? I use them as little as possible. For example I wanted to run Audible on my phone, but...Android 5.1 isn't supported. I was able to find a workaround by downloading a APK file from two years ago before Audible no longer supported Android Lollipop. (Caveat - I don't need to be warned about the security issues of APK files). Grrrr - I hate built-in obsolescence. And I keep running into that problem lately when attempting to install apps on my Oppo Older_Than_Dirt Phone running ColorOS over Android 5.1 and which I can not root. Grrrr. So ???? I guess it's time to bite the bullet. But - I want an "unlocked", Cheap Charlie phone. Apple iOS phones are out for all the ฿฿฿฿฿ Cha-Ching ฿฿฿฿฿ ???? Huawei phones are out because of the lack of the availability of apps that I need to use. Oppo phones are out because I want the phone to actually runs Android and not some manufacturers proprietary OS that runs over the top of Android, like Oppo's ColorOS. So I'm looking for suggestions for a dirt-cheap Android smartphone but one that has at least 32GB of onboard storage with the ability to add addition storage of between 64 to 512 GB via SD cards. So let me toss it out there. ???? Suggestion for phones?

Bread Making Machine or Convection Oven
I think I want to start making my own bread. I've noticed that shrink-flation has hit the brands of bread I buy. They are shrinking the loaves and then cutting the slices thinner. I was making french toast yesterday and the bread was just falling apart it was so thin. I'd rather make my own. I'm looking at one of two approaches: a bread making machine or a convection oven. I've made bread in the past but it is time intensive which is making be gravitate to an all-in-one bread making machine. Does anyone have a good bread making machine and if so, what brand do you recommend that can be purchased in Thailand?

Where's the cheapest Animal Clinic to get a female cat spayed?
Where's the cheapest Animal Clinic to get a female cat spayed? The last place I went cost me over 5000 baht, and my cat died the evening we got her back from the vet. I was not a happy camper for the results I got for what I considered to be a lot of money. So, money doesn't equate to quality care. So which vet will do this for the cheapest price? I can get this done for less than 1500 baht in the US ($45).
