4 where is a pier to burma in ranong and an imigration?

  2. Find a bar or somewhere with TT&T PRemier (1090 baht a month), is fine for RDP to london etc..

Failing that go to the IT complex in Lamai, internet is fast and they have nice aircon office space including power you can use ad-hoc for 1baht per minute, again full screen/colour RDP to europe is fine as is SSH.

Cat telecom is about 3,000 a month, not sure if its as good as they say upstream, although people have only said good things about it, Foxy's bar in Choneng Mon has on the free wifi, so perhaps go there and try it first before commiting to a contract.

but what about upload? Is it good? On Samui in general.

  3. Well, we comin to Samui and today i found out there are huge problems with outcomin traffic on whole Samui, so while incomin traffic do well over 2mb/s outcmoin traffic doin only 0.2 mb/s on the very same intenet plan, this is very very awful, im using remote administrator and have only 0.2 of outcomin traffic is not acceptable. Is there any places, areas on Samui which covered by some wifi/adsl pproviders and have good, solid connection?

    Thank u

  4. you can get the free Visa on Arrival for 15days.

I am not sure about the Visa regulations for Hungarians for visiting Malaysia , but if you go to Laos , Royal Thai Embassy in Vientiane , you can obtain a Tourist Visa , either Single or Double Entry.

The Laos Visa on Arrival is issued at the border without any problem.

    Mega Thanks!

in Malaysia hungarians have 3 months on arrival. What about malaysia, do they issue visas for anyone or only for Locals? We are goin to Samui, so for us its much better to go to Malaysia. What closest embassy to the border? Or we need to go all way to KL? Or maybe even Langkawi?

  5. Hello, we sent our papers in local embassy, but our documents lost(local post fault), we have a flight in a week, so its absolutely not possible to try obtain another one, all we can do is to get new pasports.

So at the moment all we can do is to have a 15 days visa on arrival, even know that we have return tickets in 3 months.

How can we solve it? Can we have 2 months thai visas in any other countries in region? Malaysia? Lao? Cambo? Is it even possible for us to have visas(for example) in Malaysia? Or they only accept malaysians and residents f malaysia there? What can we do? Please, give us some advices, we are super despirate:(

  6. Hi everyone, i heard there are huge discounts on Samui for rental houses. Now it seems u can get a nice 1 bedroom house fully furnished for sweet 10.000 bath OR EVEN LESS, is that so? We, young family arrivin in LOS in 2 weeks and seriously consider to move on Samui instead of Pattaya or Phuket.

Is it really that cheap now? And where we could browse for such offers?

    Thank u
