That is not the case at our local DLT and many other DLT's, don't try be so clever people have been here longer than you and know more than you about what you can do and what you can't. May I point out to you and others who are not English you don't understand the non requirement to not need a IDP when you have a valid Full photocard DL from UK. The only reason some people get an IDP with a UK full photocard DL is because as I have posted before over some 15 years the Thai police are ignorant of the fact a UK DL photocard DL has all the information on it that is put in a IDP.

The only on-line bank I have is UK. Don't bother or need on-line with Thai banks I just keep it simple for immigration by keeping 400,000 in bank for marriage extension.

Well good luck be careful UK having a big spike in Delta covid infections. I could never live in a City our village is highly populated but Thai soon complain of any over the top noise and it's stopped quickly. Out in our farmland the the combine harvestors are the only noisy thing.

I would advise :- Well if you can get a US motorbike DL do that and get a IDP as well if it's not a photocard DL and not show in English what you can drive. If you have never ridden a motorbike go to a school here in Thailand and get use to driving on the proper side of the road. ???? Take simple computer test which you can get the answers for, a simple practical test and get your Thai motorbike DL.
