Yes, and i would say if OP friend had no money in bank and did not use it they would close it. If he has some money in the bank still the UK bank will let him transfer to some other place.

Aircraft other than expendable drones seem to be pretty useless in the conventional ground war of today. Tanks have not been seen to to be much cop either. Long range artillery systems protected by missile systems and drones maybe some balloons seem the the best way to go. ????

That's what I'm trying to tell you report the licences and wallet lost and go back to the DLT with the police report you got your DL from and they will have your records and help you out, they won't eat you.

DLT that far best take police report of loss is sometimes wanted plus take what paperwork you had to get the DL in the first place.

Yeah understand, I forgot to say my Mrs does the app thingy with water, lecky, d.tac, AIS internet payments. At ATM every 4 weeks when my UK pension comes to our joint account I transfer to her bank amount needed. I use my computer to do the wise transfers when or if required. I use ATM card to get money if i need it as well from my 1 year extension money account. I don't have money kept tied up anymore I keep it all accessible for my wife to get at if anything happens to me.

No need really ATM is in village, my bank is 14 kilos away in new city but only go there once a year for letter. ???? I have UK credit card and UK online banking, keep money with Wise site I'm happy with my set up.
