  4. Once you become of competent rider then you can always go to a racing school to improve cornering technics. It's all very well on a race track, riding the roads is a whole different ballgame. In advanced motorcycle lessons in UK it was always road ride teaching.
  5. Changed the old Chang switch for a new, when they built our they used to old Chang switch maybe so they didn't have to change it. We had 15/45 I did OK carefully. ????
  6. Bar bell ringer.
  7. I had an 850 Morris mini in UK cannot remember it's top speed it did over 70mph as far as I can remember.
  8. I am a Suzuki motorcycle luver so great they are somewhat new to Cars in some respects but have been at it for quite a while now so well worth a look.
  9. MG had been a proven vehicle in OZ for years. Proof of pudding is in the eating. The engineering of cars these days is so advanced many seem to forget that and just go with prejudice.
  10. OK understand down the road where you live 90mph would be difficult. ????
  11. Where is the 90mph coming from.?

  18. Yeah its a case of what y'all like if I was going for a little car the reason I like it because I've driven one and I was very impressed.
  19. Ordinarily one wouldn't do that you get the failure of the engine fixed or have it reconditioned.
  20. Yeah I reckon the metal is isolated from electric power in design. Our fridge has a 2 pin plug but I connected and earth wire to the metal area at the back and connected it to an earthrod. Just thought better than nowt.
  21. Not as much to get sorted these days as buying another truck. That said I did go manual gearbox when I bought another truck but to save 40,000 although I would of still kept my auto Vigo if the situation had of been different at the time.
  22. What I did is earth appliances that needed earth. Put safety T cut. I put earthrod and wire for washing machine and fridge. The showers I earthed to the house steel framework and safety switches. Most stuff don't need earth.
  23. Your truck wasn't a workhorse I don't think OP's truck is either. Your motor would of lastest you 30 years or more having seen it was like when you sold it. There's many Toyota's in our village the one before the Vigo that are neglected and some that get looked after and are like new. Todays wheels if look after and kept will be a lot cheaper than changing motors if people want to do it, I will certainly not be changing my truck.
