I managed to stay alive in this frikking humidity in spite of getting 1/2 the lawn mowed.

The contemporary TV's are pretty good at protecting themselves. While the above can and do help to prevent the more insidious events, the TV will shut itself down if voltage goes too high or low.

LG or Daikin are my recommendation. Which ever has closest authorized repair center.

I got an SMS telling me of appointment at the University in Udon city at 6am on the 25th - the appointment for 2:30p. I got there early and was re-directed 3 times to find out that I wasn't in the system. I showed the SMS I had received and went to 3 more people, one of which added me to the system. After that, things went smoothly and I got my 1st jab of Pfizer. 2nd jab scheduled for the 15th. Don't know how I got deleted but thankful to finally come across a gov worker with a brain (to add me back in) instead of "cannot". Apparently others with the same problem - I suspect somebody clever playi.ng with the system. Pretty sure this came from expatvac because I didn't register anywhere else.
