All this does not really matter if you are way out of the "interesting" price range

I am one who loves old Chinatown , but so much is being demolished for the new extension of the MRT , 

and more will be torn down once the MRT is open and its easier for "normal tourists" to just get off the MRT and see the new "sterile" Chinatown , 

Add  to that the street seller "clean up" and it has lost a lot of the "Chinatown" hustle and gritty "charm" ,  

But there are still a lot of side streets , alleyways etc that only someone lost will ever find ,   you really need to visit , hold your nose (its not a shopping mall) and enjoy the energy of people trying to make a living everyday....

I assume that Line sends you a Text with Pin code when you sign up , so they know the country / sim card you are using

And that sets the user name with that sim card / phone number , 

So what happens if you change your Thai sim card/ phone number while you are in Thailand ?

do you have to pick a new user name  ?

I bought an iPad 2 with WiFi 3G off Ebay for $120 shipped within USA ,  

iPad 2 also has the camera so you can do Facetime

This is a nice app to build up some "free" Google $$$ to use on the playstore , 

it also helps when an App is FREE for a week , but you still need to have a Google play account with a Credit card attached ,

with your Google $$$ it will let you sign up for the normally not free Apps, ( must be something in Google programming)

Anyway you get 25-50 cents for a survey that takes a minute , after a few months I am up to $15 , 

one tip , answer the questions like you would  expect companies would want customers to answer ,  

PS:  I am not sure how well this works worldwide , my sign up was from the USA

Mine normally takes at least 5 days and sometimes longer to post,

if you are using a new paypal account  to sell stuff on ebay they can hold it up to 3 weeks 'to prevent fraud'

I would say a tablet  is the best because there are so many learning apps

just make sure the Tablet has "Gorrila glass"   like iPads and the better Android tablets.

If you have someone coming from the USA , used iPads are .$100 -$150 on Ebay , you do not need the newest model

and get a case for when he drops it !

Is thre a way to set up your windows computer so that it will not start a EXE file or any other file like that before jumpimg thru a few hoops . 

so if you clicked on a hijacking link , it would not go thru but warn you that it was trying to install a file on your computer ,

I  have had to use System restore a few times in the lst year because something did not work after an update by Microsoft or others , 

That is why I would like to have a more current Systm restore file

How can you set the Microsoft System Restore make a restore point  every 2  weeks ,

Sure but you have to lay low......

even simple things like selling on Ebay  is harder now that you need a passport to mail overseas , 

So  English lessons ,  or whatever you are an "expert" at may work , but if you put an ad on Craigslist  people have been busted for "working" so no idea  how to let you know how to advertise safely , 

I would figure out a job before I left home that I could do online or on Skype , just figure out the timat home compared to Thailand as you may end up working  at 3am Bangkok time ......

Or you could just design websites like everyone else does........

That is why we need those Facebook satellites ( first one crashed)  or something like that , 

does these places even have electric 24./7 ?

I am all for helping people get smarter , and I guess even playing stupid games is better than soap operas !
