  1. I gather from sexy beast post that pom means British. Is the word pom a derogatory word?    What exactly does it mean?

    Isn't it short for "pompous"?

    pom

n : a disparaging term for English immigrants to Australia or New Zealand [syn: pommy]

  2. I promised to be nice so I will say this politely, trying to put all girls from ISSAN into one group is like saying all girls from California are the same. If you are picking up hookers at patpong or anywhere in bangkok and the girl is from ISSAN she has already been rejected or passed over by many men before she became a hooker for any number of reasons.

Do not take hookers to your home. Get a hotel room.

    Mai Krap .... talks Krap !! :o

  3. :D I wonder if it would be possible to set up a penis bank, wereby, men killed in accidents could donate their dicks. As with hearts, liver etc. That way, victims of this dastardly deed could choose a new one. Perhaps a different colour or size. Or even pigs might suffice these days, after all, they are experimenting with pigs heart transplants. Just a thought.

I saw 2 blokes on the TV the other day who had had hand transplants... :o

If they can do that I'm sure they can do cocks !! :D

  4. As with all nationalities in LOS, you get the successful professional expats group and you get the deadbeat/haven't amounted to anything in life/ losers group who seem to get veiled with this false sense of self importance/acheivement when they clear Don Muang customs. Luckily the latter gruop seem to magnetize towards the gutter establishments, so you rarely have to deal with them.

Are there just those 2 groups...? Rich expats and low life loser scum...?

  5. Many Thais add ice to their beer. Are there any of you here who have adopted this odd practice? I could never do it.

When in Bkk or other towns/cities there is no need to add ice because they are properly chilled and have the "condoms" to keep them cool... however when in "the bush" I have to admit I will put ice in my beer... it's just that I can't stand warm beer.. and I'm english too...!! :o

  6. I picked up one of my regulars one time at around 10 PM. 22 hours later she still had "Thai breath" even though I saw her brush her teeth twice and she ate no spicy food during that time. So I think the oder may be coming up from their stomach and brushing does not good.

Certain foods such as garlic and onion can be easily absorbed into the blood stream... when the blood passes through the lungs it can release these odours into the lungs, and then into used air to be expelled, when this air is expelled the odours can be smelt on the breath... this also the same for alcohol... this means that odours can be smelt on the breath long after meals and after brushing teeth.

    But d'ont worry I'TS ONGLY A GAME

Surely it's a joke right ... ? The poster must have meant it to be like that... could they really have made that many mistakes ?? :D

BTW I checked this post, then checked it again... just to be on the safe side... :o

  8. What I think we'd like to know is 'what' chemicals are in beers like Singha and Chang that give them that sh#t taste and make them so hard on the head in the morning.

What is the name of the chemical that used to be put in beer as a preservative... started with a "p" I think.... just can't remember the name of it :o

  9. So my point is if Robsayer2000 thought they were Turks it is probably because of the middle eastern looks...

Or maybe because he does not like Turks.

    For whatever reason,... :o

Maybe they served him a dodgy kebab down the high street one night... :D

Sorry to further go off the original topic but I have to mention that some of the kebab I had in London (lived there for about 4 years) was much more delicious than a lot of the kebab I have had here in Istanbul. I especially enjoyed the kebab of a Turkish take away shop in Richmond, nearby the Richmond Bridge... possibly the best doner kebab I have ever had.

    Regards,

    Jem

Couldn't agree more.... got some fantastic Kebab shops in my area, one in particular does a chicken/lamb combo with a mean chilli sauce... :D
