Israel is at War - General discussion (pt2)
BigStar replied to CharlieH's topic in The War in Israel
I believe that. The women they refused to release are almost all younger women: The captives include Ofra Keidar and Judy Weinstein, both 70 years old, as well as Romi Leshem Gonen (23), Eden Yerushalmi (24), Liri Elbag (18), Daniela Gilboa (19), Karina Ariev (19), Noa Argamani (26), Inbar Heiman (27), Emily Demari (27), Arbel Yahud (28), Agam Berger (19), Naama Levy (19), Amit Buskila (28), Eden Zakaria (28), Doron Steinbracher (30), Shiri Bibas (32), and Carmel Gat (39). --https://www.ynetnews.com/article/byurydvb6 The horrific videos of Noa Argamani and Naama Levy being kidnapped were widely circulated, both attractive women. Naama Levy was shown being hauled out of the back of a Jeep SUV and shoved into the back seat. Her pants were blooded from rapes and her Achilles heel slashed. -
I dunno. However, I suggest taking Bolt. Less that B400 door to door.

Not atypical. You'll have to establish some firm rules for the sake of the child. I know a guy who, despite his protests and knowing full well the consequences, let his wife determine that the girl could eat all the cakes, cookies, and sweets she wanted. And surf on her phone every free moment. Turned a beautiful, exceptionally smart, beautiful girl into a fat little pig. I see childhood diabetes on the horizon. Don't let her do it!

True, Europeans speak better English than the Brits with their dialects, idioms, and thick accents. So do the Indians. I like to say the Russians to p*ss off all the bigots, but in fact the Russian tourists speak little to no English. Russian techies I've known working in the USA were extremely fluent, however.

Despite Washington’s confidence, US war with Iran would be disastrous
BigStar replied to CharlieH's topic in World News
Good point. The Iranians are a bit different in that the memory lingers of how things were a lot better under the Shah and his Western-influenced reforms. They also like to distinguish themselves from Arabs. The well-educated are aware of a proud history of the Persians pre-Islam. Anyway, it'll be interesting to see how this all plays out. We seem on the cusp of something. -
Pattaya police explain alleged bribery in child prostitution case

I stand corrected, thank you. -
Exactly. Though Brits would never admit it here amid their constant whinging, on a different forum one of them notes: Yeah, us POMS do whinge. I think they all do it in the UK now to such a degree thats its the norm! You've surely heard that old Australian joke: How can you tell that a planeload of Brits has just landed? Because the whining continues after the engines are off!

Based on what an Iranian friend (currently in Iran) tells me, there seems widespread disgust with the mullahs and the conditions they've imposed to pursue militarism. Note the recent rebellions--that, sadly, were unsupported by the feckless current USA regime. He believes that if real help were given to the disaffected, the mullahs could be toppled and a sane government established. Sounds good. :) Hamas seems to enjoy popular support, however. Now USA analysts thought the Iraqis would welcome regime change and real democracy as well. Wishful thinking. -
Yeah, let's all post our BP numbers moment by moment. How about this moment?

Just a little fantasy you made up. Feel better? We have no idea about the Russian woman you've convicted of drunk driving. For all you know, the families of the victims got big payouts. -
Neighbour Held For Beating Italian Man To Death In Front Of His House
BigStar replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
Justifably [sic] in your own mind, of course. You can beat someone to death with it, too. So that's sorted. -
I don't get any energy burst from protein powder. I use unsweetened and unflavored. I think it may over time help slow down the rate of muscle loss as I age, as research says it should. That, and exercise. I'm in good shape for my age. But I have no twin or clone to act as a control. I try to stack the odds in my favor, as I understand them, if it's not just too onerous and expensive to do so.

Did you check the playstore? You might play Deus Ex: The Fall: https://apkaward.com/deus-ex-the-fall-hd-remastered I played it on PC and it was just OK there, gave the flavor of its progenitors. I don't play games on a phone. As for Linux, Steam games are running well on Linux these days. Check https://store.steampowered.com/ Oh: pay for a good game. It's not that much and well worth it.

Normal activity normally elevates your BP and your BPM. If abnormally high, that's an issue, and it's quickly realized. But first you want the baseline, that is, the resting rate. Hence measuring upon first awakening in the morning is usually recommended.

Pattaya's wonderful, always has been. @Addicted2Pattayaon 2008-10-13 00:39:08: If pattaya did die. where would be the next best place ? @Sommaz on 2008-10-13 10:47:57: Heaven of course. However, if you want a quieter beach but nearer heaven, stay at Ban Amphur or Bangsalay. Along the coast south of Pattaya are some really nice places.

Perhaps just a more realistic result.

Very true. You can't make any trip around town with dodging them. Been a part of the scene forever, always will be. I know an expat who prided himself on his driving skills hit one of them with his Honda Steed. Broke his wrist, and that was bad enough. -

It adds to the drama and reassures our cynics fearful of a slow response should the same or worse happen to them.
