A friend has an Apple phone. When he sends me a message in Facebook Chat, I can see it. If I reply to his message, or if I send him a message, he can not see it. It doesn't matter if we are across town from each other, or sitting in the same room. This just started a couple of days ago. Each of us has no problem sending, receiving, or replying to anyone else, wherever they may be. Any ideas what the problem is here ?

At the time I wrote this, no one was talking about Kamala Harris. There was an unspoken consensus that some Great White Male Hope would step up to do the job. Kamala is going to get huge support from women, black men, and most of the white men who normally vote Democrat. On the other hand, any GWMH (see above) would have received a huge backlash from all the women and all the blacks who normally vote Democrat, for stealing what is rightfully hers.

Chronology
18/03/24 New passport received
28/03 Stamps transferred to new passport at Immigration office, and Re-entry Permit obtained
13/04 Departed Thailand
05/05 Returned to Thailand
18/05 Received an e-mail from Immigration stating that my "90 Days" previously done online (using old passport) would need to be done by 03/06.
11/06 Received my annual Extension of Stay, will expire 18/07/25.
I am aware that with a new passport, I will need to do my next "90 Days" report in person at the Immigration office.
What is my due date ?

Thanks to all who provided information. While waiting, I decided to tr spirulina from GNC. It's expensive too, but I have long wondered if it might serve as a kelp substitute. The trial is now underway.
-
Thank you. Do you, or anyone, know if iHerb is based in Thailand ? I couldn't determine online.
-
Source needed in Bangkok for kelp tablets. All online sources, except one are charging about twice the price I am used to paying. The sole reasonably priced one has not replied. So, I'm looking for a store. West of the river would be best, but can travel if necessary.

I'm the OP. Just checked the website. My application is now showing as pending, presumably on the basis of my applying as a new registrant.
-
Thanks to all. Because I can't sign in, I can't change my password. I was able to sign in, as if I was a new registrant. I will wait 24 hrs. to see if the system will accept me on that basis. Perhaps it will; I don't suppose I am the only one having this problem.

I live in Bangkok. I am unable to update my online notification after two or three attempts, checking for possible typing errors etc. "Invalid ID/Password"
Any solution, other than going in in person ?

Address it to Poste Restante at whatever Thai Post Office will be most convenient for you. (That is "General Delivery" in French, and is the internationally understood term.)
I can't say how long they will hold it for you; I think it is 30 days. Check with Thai Post online if you can.

Contact Krusapa (Teachers Associiation of Thailand). They have lists of accredited universities.

I am not American, so maybe I should not be commenting. For whatever it is worth, I agree. Some person(s) in the Democratic party need to help or persuade Biden to find a graceful exit. In terms of a possible replacement, no one seems to be suggesting Kamala Harris as a possible replacement. This would be the normal alternative, and the fact that she is almost never mentioned is a huge slap in the face to her.

Maybe I'm blind, but I can't see a way to send another member a Private Message.

I am an American citizen and have been staying as a temporary monk in Thailand for about a year on an ED visa. I'm planning to disrobe and already have a job. My understanding is that I will need to leave the country, get a nonimmigrant B visa, then come back for the work permit.
Is this the only option? Because I have been a monk, I won't be able to show them bank statements as required for the B visa. Could I leave and come back visa free? What is the most efficient way to do this?
Your post is confusing. You mention a Work Permit. Are you planning to work here ? You mention bank statements. These are not required to obtain a Work Permit and corresponding Non-Immigrant "B" visa. Are you instead planning to retire, or marry a Thai ?
As I see it, your time in the monkhood is irrelevant, and you are going to have to leave the country.

I was in the airport a few days ago. Near Door 8 at street level, there is still a sign advertising buses to Khon Kaen and Udon Thani. To the best of my recollection there is only one daily departure to each of those. I know nothing about exact departure times, or if advance booking is possible.

In my experience, most of what you have said is untrue. That said, getting support or agreement from 100 (?) people here is not going to help you. You need to have the personnel officer from your new school talk to your Immigration and Labour offices.

what's the pain level between 1-10? If it's a small tear it's probably 7-10.
I wouldn't even call it pain. I would call it sensitivity. I want to close the eye when I encounter bright light, or cool wind in my face.

Sensitive to light and cold? that's not good as it could be a retinal tear. I've had 2 retinal tears, one was caused by a very small grain of sand between my cornea and contact lens. Do you wear contacts?
No. It seems to have started with the advent of the cool weather.
-
I have a minor problem in one eye. My vision is fine, and I have no pain. Tear ducts are functioning normally. But I'm sensitive to light, and also to cold air from air conditions. It seems as if this is something I could probably cure with some over the counter eye drops. Any recommendations.

Has anybody taken the Pink Line to Immigration at the Government Complex? I've taken it a couple of times past there and there appears to be a walkway from the station. But from the station to building B would be a good trek. I also read that there would be shuttle busses. Any first hand knowledge?
From the date that Immigration first opened in that building (March 2010, if memory serves me correctly), there have been shuttle buses. Since sometime before I returned to Bangkok 18 months ago, they have been using an open "golf cart" type of vehicle that seats approximately 20 people.

Routine cleaning, and possibly a small repair. Western Bangkok (west of the river). Any recommendations ?

As a Canadian you are able to get a notarized letter from the embassy in Bangkok confirming a pension income of 65,000 baht. No need to season money in the bank.
That might be possibility, if my pension income was that high. It isn't !

Is it possible to transfer the money back into your ,if still have, bank in Canada then transfer back into Thai bankYes, I've considered that option. Now that I am here on a Tourist Exempt entry, I don't know if my bank will allow me to transfer, say B 400,000 out. (I have about B 400,000 on deposit in my Canadian acct., so should not have to transfer B 800,000 back to Canada.)
