Have done this before. Asia Hotel at Ratchathevi normally allow guest parking for as long as they stay. You can walk out of the hotel at one above ground straight onto the Skytrain Platform.

It's no good relying on either the Thai Government ot AOT to do anything about this appalling situation. Corruption is so high that even the Prime Minister has an uphill struggle just to stay alfloat.

This is a job for the Airline Operators Committee to take on board. An effective solution would be for a pre-landing announcement to be made by Cabin Crew warning Passengers against illegal taxi touts and Tour Guides. If the Airlines take such a common approach the problem could vanish overnight.

I have TRUE ADSL and and just connected a D-Link Wireless router. Setup was easy and it is working fast and fine on one laptop, but my second laptop will only load 1-2 pages before it disconnect.

I have had a look at Tools -> Internet Options -> Connections -> LAN Settings and tried most options.

Any other settings I can adjust to solve this problem?

You don't say if it's a merely a Router or one with an inbuilt modem e.g ADSL Modem/Router. However the problem is more likely to be with your laptop. You can choose on whether Windows should manage your wireless connection or use the one supplied with the Dlink Router. Try switching from one to the other. The Windows utility works with budget non Intel wireless adapters whose manufacturers often supply rather weak drivers.

Any ideas on where best to get a replacement? I did see an aerial last night in Big C mall in Phuket but it was a high range job and cost 1400bht which seems steep when all I want is the standard grey screw in job.......managed to lose mine when moving to Phuket from Krabi Town.....doh!

Just try one of the shops in Central but the price you pay depends on it's range. Go for a Reverse SMA type 7dbi which will give good signal right down the garden. The standard antenna would not be more than 3dbi.
