there was money in his wallet....WELL that would soon be gone !!
But how do they know none was missing ? A thief ( possibly police officer ) could have taken a lot but left some to let people believe robbery was not a motive

Pattaya has a hard earned and well deserved reputation, without it Pattaya would still be a sleepy fishing village as it was before the Yanks on their R/R from Vietnam eventually turned it into what it is today.
Pattaya is the sex capital of Thailand, even beating Bangkok for it's variety of nightlife.
Most of the people who knock Pattaya ( me included ) Have been there, done that, and got the Tshirt. Then grown up and moved onto the REAL Thailand away from the plastic image and bright lights of tinsel town .
Pattaya has its' uses and these are limited to the nightlife and a good selection of Western eating places, and of course Beautiful women of all shapes, sizes and ages. Including many girls straight from school looking for a Farang husband or ATM . This is FACT not fiction as many of my ex students went straight from school to work in the bars when they turned 18 . Let's face it the beaches are crap and you have to watch your back when you go out at night . Ok to visit but who in their right minds would want to live there ?

Shouldn't keep calling her a prostitute We are told by Thai authorities that there are no prostitutes in Thailand because it is illegal.

No attempt by the police to identify them ? Could have been murder or a sick black magic ritual ....
To much hard work for the police investigators ( what investigators ? ) so case closed . Perhaps there are more human remains hidden there. The temple must have records

There is enough rubbish dumped in the sea around Thailand He probably stepped on a bag of broken glass and tin cans laying on the seabed. BUT a shark attack sounds better than cutting his foot on rubbish on the seabed .... more sympathy from people too

Surprised they haven't blamed the wet roads due to Songkran activity OR the old chestnut ..." Brake failure " .
There is only one reason and that is bad driving

5 people and not a single brain cell between them .
Apart from the obvious smoke inhalation the bar b q would have used up the oxygen in the room . So much for the children's science lessons at school

How do they arrive at that ridiculus figure when you think of the huge losses due to firms and businesses closing down for the holidays and many still have to pay their employees ? Plus the extra hospital staff and police needed for the holidays

A few things don't add up here. He sent a LINE message to his wife as he burnt the house then he apparently hung himself whilst handcuffed. not something a farang would have laying about.........BUT a police officer would.... Better check his wife's present lovers.
Writing messages on walls is not a farang style suicide note, this was done for show .....Thai show

The fire alegedly started in the middle of the bus so it couldn't be an engine fire becausr the engine is at the rear and was more likely a fuel leak

Brakes failed again! Clear reason...
Brakes fail for two reasons 1. They are never maintained ...2. Drivers never use their gears to slow down, they just ride their brakes causing them to overheat

Well this is a very different version of the accident that was reported by Bangkok Post.
Bangkok post reported the passengers were heading back to Sakon Nakhon and that the bus collided head on with the truck ( although an earlier report made no mention of the truck )
My wife works at a Tessaban in Kalasin and told me her office was co-coordinating help and information for the other local Tessabans where most of the victims came from and worked.
She informed me the Governor of Kalasin province was helping rescue workers to bring the dead and injured back to Kalasin.
She also told me there were many reporters at her Tessaban ( obviously Bangkok Post was not among them )

I have been teaching for over 12 years here and found the course syllabus very inflexible with teachers just pushing through a set amount of information without even stopping to look if the students understand it ( most do not )
I have taught in government and private schools ( with the governments recommended syllabus ) and spent many years teaching weekends at Language schools. i have had M 6 students who did not speak any English even when they told me in Thai they had a native speaker teaching them English at their school.
Most of the time Thais teach from a book and have to get through a set number of pages each lesson, they are not open for questions and even homework they set is from the book ( most homework is done in groups whilst still at school,, copied from each other of course ) Basically the emphasis is on quantity not quality learning .
I refused to teach from a text book and all my lessons were unique and I took time to make sure the students understood most of the lesson .
All these tests are just paperwork exercises which have no real meaning or purpose. Just Thai show.
